a) Herstellung des Klarspülmittels: a) Preparation of the rinse aid:
Anschliessend wurden in das Gemisch im Verlauf von 110 min 639 g (225 Mol) P4O10 eingetragen, 333 g (4.5 mol) of n-butanol and 279 g (4.5 mol) of ethylene glycol were mixed in a 2 1 glass vessel with a stirrer under a nitrogen atmosphere and 1.8 g of phosphorous acid were added to the mixture. 639 g (225 mol) of P4O10 were then introduced into the mixture over the course of 110 minutes,
Methanol, Äthanol und Isopropanol. the mixture was cooled from the outside with a water-ice mixture. The temperature of the reaction mixture rose from 22 ° C to 55 ° C during the feed. After the exothermic reaction had subsided, the mixture was heated to 80 ° C. over an hour and held at 80-85 ° C. for 3 hours. After cooling, 1250 g of a colorless, viscous liquid with a content of P4O10 of 51.2% by weight, an acid number up to the 1st turning point of the titration curve at a pH of about 4.5 of 331 mg KOH / g and a total acid number up to the 2nd turning point at a pH of 9.5 of 564 mg / KOH / g. The product had a density d420 of 1.438 g / cm3. The dynamic toughness was 676 poise at 20 ° C, 65 poise at 50 ° C and 21 poise at 25 80 ° C. The product can be mixed with water in any ratio. The product also dissolves in short chain aliphatic alcohols such as e.g. Methanol, ethanol and isopropanol.
b) Anwendung des Klarspülmittels: b) Use of the rinse aid:
Im Reinigungsgang enthielt die Spülflüssigkeit 40 g/Liter eines Reinigungsmittelgemisches, bestehend aus 6 smooth, cup-shaped and 6 cup-shaped drinking glasses were cleaned in a cleaning cycle in a household dishwasher and then rinsed clear with an aqueous solution of the rinse aid. In the cleaning cycle, the rinsing liquid contained 40 g / liter of a cleaning agent mixture consisting of
56 Gew.-% Pentanatriumtriphosphat 35 Gew.-% Natriummetasilikat 5 Gew.-% Soda 56% by weight pentasodium triphosphate 35% by weight sodium metasilicate 5% by weight soda
2 Gew.-% Natriumdichlorisocyanurat-dihydrat sowie 2 Gew.-% eines Adduktes von 12 Mol Äthylenoxid und einem Mol eines Fettalkohols mit 16 C-Atomen 2% by weight of sodium dichloroisocyanurate dihydrate and 2% by weight of an adduct of 12 moles of ethylene oxide and one mole of a fatty alcohol with 16 carbon atoms
Following the cleaning cycle, the wash ware was rinsed clear with an aqueous solution of the rinse aid of a certain concentration and the clear shine effect on the wash ware in a reflection-free black light box, as described by Th. Altenschöpfer in “Seifen-Öle-Fette-Wwachs”, volume 98, no. 24/1972 is determined by counting the spots and streaks on the wash ware. The cleaning and rinsing process was repeated 10 times for a certain concentration of rinse aid in the rinse water and the statistical mean of the stains and streak numbers determined during the 10 rinse cycles was evaluated as the final value for the clear gloss effect. The results obtained are shown in the table, column II, the dependence of the clear gloss effect on the concentration of the rinse aid in the rinsing liquid being expressed.
Rinse aid monobutyl phosphate was used. The results obtained are shown in the table, column III.

In the cleaning process, the trolleys passed a brush stand and were then fed to the separately arranged window spray stand, in which only the panes were sprayed with the aforementioned spray solution. The car was then parked outside to dry. In a series of tests lasting over 4 weeks, passenger coaches with various degrees of soiling were cleaned. In all cases, the window panes have an impeccable clear gloss effect without island or drop formation and do not have to be polished by hand. Water with 24 0 German hardness was used to prepare the rinse aid liquid, with the addition of complexing agents or other auxiliaries being dispensed with.
