Description
The invention relates to a cleaning suction head according to the preamble of claim 1. Such devices are used on devices for cleaning floors, walls, carpets, curtains, upholstery and the like, and in particular for liquid cleaning, in which a carpet or the like. is carefully wetted by a solution containing a suitable cleaning agent, such as a non-foaming cleaning agent, and the carpet or the like, which is then dried by taking up this solution.
The structure according to the invention is characterized by the features in the characterizing part of patent claim 1.
Es zeigen: An embodiment of the invention will be described with reference to the drawing. Show it:

The preferred embodiment of the cleaning suction head 100 has a tubular connector 101 for connection to a suction pipe (not shown) and an elongated housing 102 with an inner rib 103 and a central bore 104 for receiving a nozzle 105 at the end of a hose 77 through which the liquid is dispensed. Another bore 106 is located at the lower end of the central bore 104 and forms a connection with a channel 107 which extends along the underside of the rib 103. A molded part 108 includes the rib 103 in a form-fitting manner and engages with tabs 110 in slots 111 at the ends 109 of the housing. The molded part 108 forms a channel 112 which, together with the channel 107, forms a longitudinal line 113, as a result of which liquid from the nozzle 105 is distributed over the entire length of the housing 102 through the further bore 106.
Calibrated openings 114 are spaced apart along the head to regulate the flow of the liquid so that it is dispensed evenly and continuously in an appropriate amount. In particular, the holes have a diameter of 1.5 mm and are arranged at intervals of 10 mm. The liquid then drips through these openings and enters the inner compartment 115 between the pair of transverse walls 116 formed on the molded part 108. The inner compartment 115 is centrally located in the outer suction chamber 117, which is formed by the housing 102 and the end surfaces 118 of the walls 116 are arranged such that they are aligned with the end surfaces of the housing 102, which is defined by a rounded rim bead 119. The edge bead 119 is continuous so that when it glides over a fabric, it is not combed. In this way, the suction chamber 117 can be sealed from the environment, so that a strong suction can act on the tissue, which is thus cleaned. The arrangement of the end faces 118 of the walls 116 in the same plane as the end faces 119 of the outer compartment 117 ensures that the inner compartment 115 is equally effectively sealed against the tissue being treated and there is obviously no possibility that due to the draft , which is generated in the suction chamber, liquid is sucked out of the inner compartment 115 directly into the suction chamber 117. Instead, the liquid is dripped onto the tissue to be cleaned. This enables careful wetting of the fabric without spraying. This allows a low pressure on the liquid, which can be applied without a pump to deliver the cleaning liquid.
A shut-off valve (not shown) may be provided in line 77 to stop the cleaning fluid from flowing to the head.
