1. Lifting device for carrying plates, in particular coated plates, with two plate grippers (1 and 2) lying at a distance from one another, between which the plate to be carried comes to lie, and a lever-like handle (3), which at Lifting the plate clamps between the plate grippers (1 and 2), characterized in that at least one of the two plate grippers (1 and 2) has a gripping element (4) which can be pivoted about its axis in a pedal-like manner.
2. Lifting device according to claim 1, characterized by an E-shape or an E-like shape, one of the outer E-legs serving as a handle (3) and the other two E-legs as plate grippers (1 and 2).
3. Lifting device according to claim 2, characterized in that both plate grippers (1 and 2) each have a gripping element (4) which can be pivoted in a pedal-like manner about its E-leg axis.
4. Lifting device according to claim 3, characterized in that the two pivotable gripping elements (4) are connected to one another by a connecting web (6) in such a way that their pivots run synchronously.
5. Lifting device according to claim 3, characterized in that the two gripping elements (4) are flat at least on their mutually facing surfaces.
6. Lifting device according to claim 5, characterized in that the two gripping elements (4) are plate-shaped.
7. Lifting device according to claim 6, characterized in that the mutually facing surfaces of the gripping elements (4) are each provided with a rubber-elastic layer (5).
The present invention relates to a lifting device for carrying plates, in particular coated plates, with two plate grippers lying at a distance from one another, parallel to one another, between which the plate to be carried comes to lie, and with a lever-like handle which, when lifting, the plate between the plate gripper is stuck.
Previously you had to use the plates, e.g. B. wooden panels, to the processing machine or to the processing location without tools.
Then a lifting device came onto the market, which consisted of a tubular handle and two tubular plate grippers. These tubular plate grippers do not securely hold the plates, especially when they are coated, i.e. H. if they have a smooth surface. The contact surfaces of such plate grippers are simply too small.
The invention aims to provide a lifting device in which this disadvantage is eliminated.
The main feature of the lifting device according to the invention is that at least one of the two plate grippers has a gripping element which can be pivoted about its axis in a pedal-like manner.
If both plate grippers have such gripping elements and these are also plate-shaped, then the contact surfaces of the device according to the invention are up to 10 times larger than the contact surfaces of the known device.
An exemplary embodiment of the lifting device according to the invention is described below with reference to the drawing.
1 shows a plan view from which the E-shape can be seen,
Fig. 2 shows a side view with the plate clamped.
The device has an E-shape here; it can also have an E-like shape. The uppermost E-leg is designed as a handle 3; In its simplest form, this is a hose-covered rod or a coated tube. The two remaining E-legs serve as plate grippers 1 and 2. So that they rest on the plate with the largest possible contact surface, both plate grippers 1 and 2 each have a gripping element 4 which can be pivoted about its E-leg axis in a pedal-like manner. Most conveniently, these gripping elements 4 consist of plates which are provided on their mutually facing surfaces with a rubber-elastic layer 5. So that the gripping elements 4 can be pivoted synchronously with one another, they are connected to one another by a connecting web 6.
With the plate 7 standing vertically, the device is pushed from the side against the plate such that it comes to rest between the gripping elements 4. If you lift the handle 3 upwards, the plate 7 is firmly clamped between the gripping elements 4 and can be lifted and carried away. With large plates, two devices and two people are of course necessary, one person with one device on each vertical side of plate 7.
You could also attach the handle 3 so that it points to the opposite side. One could also design the device in an F-shape, the two shorter F-legs forming the plate grippers and the long F-leg representing a lever handle.
