Abstract

The electronic timekeeping device has a stepping motor (4) with a rotor (11), a stator (8) and a winding (10), which are surrounded by a housing (6, 7) which has a depressed section (7a), and form a unit. The gearing (20) is arranged in the depressed section (7a), and the circuit card (15) with the electronic elements forms the cover for the depressed section.
