PATENTANSPRÜCHE
Fig. 1 Einen Schnitt nach der Linie I-I in Fig. 2 und

5. Closure according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the pawls (11) by springs lying in the pawl plane, z. B. leaf springs (15) are pressed in the locking position in grooves (14) of the bolt (13).
The invention relates to a lock for locking two mutually movable parts by at least one pawl movably mounted in a housing of one part, which is held in the locked position in a non-movable bolt fastened in the other part.
Closures for locking two parts which are movable relative to one another are known in various designs.
The movable parts of the closure are expediently housed in a housing which is attached to one part of the two parts. For locking, a non-movable bolt is fastened in the other part, in which one of the movable parts mounted in the housing engages in the locking position and is held in position there under the action of a spring.
In various areas of application, in particular in transportation, special demands are placed on the closures. Above all, an unintentional opening should be avoided as far as possible. This is achieved in that the force with which the pawl is held in the locking position is chosen to be relatively large. In many cases, such closures are not permitted in the aviation industry because they do not offer sufficient security. In particular, it is required here that even if a part of the closure fails, e.g. B. if a closing spring would break, the lock does not unlock, but is kept in its locked position.
The higher demands to be placed on the closures in aerospace applications should not, however, be achieved by significantly increasing the space requirement and requiring a complicated construction.
Rather, these applications place great value on small dimensions and low weight.
The invention is therefore based on the object of designing a closure of the type described at the outset in such a way that it has increased security against unlocking and is nevertheless space-saving and composed of relatively few parts. This object is achieved according to the invention in that in one part two pawls arranged on opposite sides of the bolt are mounted and pivotable.
The invention is shown in the accompanying drawing in one embodiment and described below.
Show it:
Fig. 1 shows a section along the line I-I in Fig. 2 and
Fig. 2 is a view of the closure of FIG. With the cover plate removed.
The closure shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 serves to lock two wall sections 1, 2, which are partially shown.
It is assumed that the wall section 1 is fixed, e.g. B. is part of a container, while the wall section 2 can be part of a pivoting door, for example, which has a recess 3 for the purpose of reducing weight. The wall section 2 has a solid edge part 4, in which the movable parts of the closure are accommodated.
In the edge part 4, a first recess 5 is machined with an approximately square shape, in which, as can be seen from FIG. 1, a cover plate 7 is inserted and fastened, for. B. by screwed into 8 holes.
A second depression 6 is arranged within the circumference of the first depression 5. The second recess 6 has two circular bulges 9, in which the one, also circular end 10 of a band-shaped pawl 11 is mounted. Each bulge 9 forms, together with the circular end, a pivot bearing for the pawls 11. In FIG. 1, the pawls are not shown for the sake of clarity. It can be seen from FIG. 2 that the end 12 opposite the circular end 10 of the pawl 11 is held in a latch 13 in the locking position.
So that the pawls 11 can be held in the bolt 13, two mutually opposite grooves 14 are arranged in the bolt 13. Each pawl 11 is under the action of a band spring 15 which is inserted in a further bulge 16 of the second recess 6 and presses with one end against the pawl 11. The advantage of this arrangement is that even if one of the two band springs 15 would break, the locking position is ensured with a single pawl 11. A spreading lever 17 is arranged between the two pawls 11. The spreading lever 17 is placed on a square hub 18 which has a bearing flange 19. The bearing flange 19 lies in a bore 20 of the cover plate 7. In the hub 18, a threaded bore 21 is provided, into which a cap screw 22 is screwed.
A pusher lever 23 is placed on the end of the hub 18 extending through the cover plate 7 and held in position by the cap screw 22. Since the spreading lever 17 is firmly connected to the bearing flange 19, the hub 18 cannot move axially. A web 24 is provided in the second recess, which forms a stop for the two pawls 11 when the lock is unlocked and the expansion lever is removed. The web 24 also forms a support for the relatively thin cover plate 7.
To unlock the lock, the pusher lever 23 is depressed, as a result of which the spreading lever 17 is rotated.
As a result, the two pawls 11 are rotated in opposite directions, the ends 12 being moved out of the grooves 14. Now the wall section 2 can be removed from the latch 13. To lock the closure, the part 2 is pressed against the bolt 13, which is designed such that the pawls 11 are automatically expanded and snap into the grooves 14. It is essential here that the two pawls are pressed into the grooves 14 independently of one another, so that if a band spring 15 fails, the locking is still maintained. The band springs 15
lie in the plane formed by the two pawls 11, whereby a very low overall height of the closure is achieved.
In Fig. 2 the closure is arranged directly in the edge part 4 of the wall section 2. However, a separate housing with the two depressions 5, 6 could also be provided, which is fastened to the wall section 2. Because the housing is formed by the edge part 4, a lower overall height is achieved than in the case of a housing separated from the edge part 4.
