belasteter Knopf, vorzugsweise in Kugelform, ausgebildet.
Fig. 1 rein schematisch ein Konstruktionselement in Form einer Teleskopstange gemäss der Erfindung, zwischen zwei Begrenzungswänden ausgezogen, wobei der Spannmechanismus bzw. die Arretiervorrichtung nicht ausgelöst ist;

in order to engage the latter in an opening (13) accessible from the outside when the spring is tensioned, the locking element being attached to the inner tube with play (S), such that when the locking element is released by pressing on the locking element from the outside through said opening and when the construction element is pulled out between the two boundary surfaces, the adjacent telescopic tube is pushed back under the action of the support spring by the amount of play between the inner tube and the locking element relative to the other telescopic tube and the locking element disappears inside the adjacent telescopic tube.
2. Construction element according to claim 1, characterized in that the support spring (7) is supported on a stop of an insert sleeve (10) used in the one tube, in which sleeve the rod (6) is slidably mounted, the sleeve also having an opening (13) for the locking element (11), which in the installed state overlaps with the opening in the adjacent telescopic tube.

4. Construction element according to one of claims 2 or 3, characterized in that the insertion sleeve (10) at its part facing the outer end has at least one longitudinal slot into which a guide pin arranged on the rod (6) engages around this rod and thus to hold the locking element in the correct position for opening in the sleeve.
5. Construction element according to one of claims 14, characterized in that the locking element (11, 12) is designed as a spring-loaded button, preferably in a spherical shape.
6. Construction element according to claim 2, characterized in that the rod (6) has an extension (15) which leads through the bottom of the insertion sleeve (10) and that a damping spring (16) is arranged on the part of the extension projecting above the sleeve which prevents the rod (6) from being thrown out of the structural element under the action of the support spring (7) if the locking element is triggered unintentionally.
The present invention relates to a construction element which can be adjusted by pulling out its length and can be clamped between two boundary surfaces, with two telescopically displaceable tubes, the inner tube being provided with a locking element which acts only against the direction of extraction and is supported on the outer tube, and with a spring for resiliently supporting the structural element, which is supported independently of the locking element between one of the two telescopic tubes and a rod arranged in and with it.
Construction elements of this type, in particular for use as curtain rods to be clamped between two boundary surfaces, are known. Such a construction element is in particular in Swiss Patent No.
538 635 described in more detail. It is primarily suitable as a curtain rod to be clamped between two boundary surfaces, which can be installed relatively easily and without special technical knowledge. Even if these known construction elements are much easier to assemble than previous solutions, difficulties still arise when tensioning the spring and when actually attaching the element in the desired position.
The purpose of the present invention is to create a construction element of the type mentioned, in which the assembly is again considerably simplified compared to previous solutions.
The object is achieved in the construction element according to the invention in that a spring-loaded locking element is provided which is fixedly connected to the rod and which, together with the rod, can be pressed into the adjacent telescopic tube against the force of the support spring, so that when the spring is tensioned on the latter in one from the outside to engage the accessible opening, the locking element being attached to the inner tube with play, such that when the locking element is released by pressure on the locking element from the outside through said opening and when the construction element is pulled out between the two boundary surfaces,
the adjacent telescopic tube is pushed back under the action of the support spring by the amount of play between the inner tube and the locking element with respect to the other telescopic tube and the locking element disappears inside the adjacent telescopic tube.
This construction allows the element to be tensioned before the actual positioning, i.e. H. usually even from the manufacturer, whereby it is then only necessary to completely pull out the element between two boundary surfaces and to trigger the locking device in the desired position. By simply loosening the locking element by pressing the locking element through said opening, the effect of the support spring comes into play and the construction element holds firmly in the desired and once selected position.
In a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, the support spring is supported on a stop of an insertion sleeve inserted in the one tube, in which the rod is slidably mounted, the sleeve also having an opening for the locking element, which in the installed state is in the said opening covered in the adjacent telescopic tube.
The opening of the insertion sleeve expediently has a raised edge bead, which on the one hand snaps into the opening of the tube and serves as a catch for the locking element and at the same time serves as a rotation lock for the insertion sleeve. Such a sleeve is advantageously made of plastic. Furthermore, the insert sleeve can have at least one longitudinal slot on its part facing the outer end, in which a guide pin arranged on the rod engages in order to hold the rod and thus the locking element for opening in the sleeve in the correct position.
The locking element is expediently as a spring
loaded button, preferably spherical.
In a particularly advantageous embodiment, the rod has an extension which leads through the bottom of the insertion sleeve, a damping spring being arranged on the part of the extension which projects inward beyond the sleeve, which prevents the rod from being triggered when the locking element is inadvertently triggered the support spring is thrown out of the construction element.
The invention will be explained with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing something he. The drawing shows:
1 purely schematically, a construction element in the form of a telescopic rod according to the invention, drawn out between two boundary walls, the tensioning mechanism or the locking device not being triggered;
Fig. 2 shows the same construction element in bulk, i.e. H. not clamped condition and when the tensioning or locking mechanism is triggered, and
Fig. 3 shows the same construction element as in Fig. 1, also pulled out between two walls and this time when the tensioning or locking mechanism is triggered.
The drawing shows a construction element designed as a curtain rod according to the invention, which essentially consists of two telescopically displaceable tubes 1, 2. At the inner end 2a of the tube 2, a locking element 3 known per se is provided, which is only effective against the pull-out direction and is supported on the inner wall of the outer tube 1. In the example shown and in general in the construction according to the invention, the locking element is attached to the tube 2 with a play S, specifically via a type of towing pin 4 which is held in a pin 5 of the inner tube.
At the free end of the larger telescopic tube 1 there is also a known buffer (not shown), preferably made of plastic, which is otherwise designed as a kind of pin and inserted into the tube end.
The locking elements 3 can be designed differently in plan view, but are basically designed as a type of spring washer.
A rod 6 is arranged in the end of the inner tube 2, a spring 7 acting between the inner tube 2 and this rod 6, which, when pressurized, the third tube 6 or the support tube with a buffer 8 arranged at the outer end Pressure against a side support 9 presses. The spring 7 is supported on the inner tube 2 by an insert sleeve 10 made of plastic. The spring 7 rests against a bulge of the sleeve 10 on the one hand and against the inner end of the rod 6. This is also a construction that is already known in principle and is described in detail in the aforementioned Swiss Patent No. 538 635.
The actual inventive aspect of the present subject lies in an actual tensioning mechanism, which consists of a locking element arranged in the rod 6, consisting of a button 11, which is pressed outwards by a spring 12. The advantageously cylindrical or spherical button 11 can snap into an opening 13 in the sleeve 10 when the element is tensioned, which in turn snaps over an edge bead 14 into a corresponding opening in the tube 2.
The button 11 has on its base part a widening 11 'which forms a stop in relation to the edge of the associated opening in the rod 6 in order to secure the button 11 in its outer position.
When the button 11 is pressed in, there is a displacement between the third tube 6 and the inner tube 2 with a sleeve
10 under the action of the spring 7 instead. This process is described in more detail below.
At the end of the third tube 6 there is also a rod-like extension 15 which leads through the bottom of the sleeve 10 into the interior of the construction element and which serves as a guide for a damping spring 16. Thanks to this damping spring 16, it is avoided that if the locking mechanism is triggered unintentionally, the third tube 6 with the buffer 8 mounted thereon can be thrown outwards. The spring 16 is supported against the outside of the bottom of the sleeve 10 on the one hand and at the other end against a fuse 17 attached to the extension 15.
Fig. 2 of the drawing shows the telescopically extendable rod described in the unmounted state, i. H. loose, in the position with the tensioning mechanism triggered. It should be remembered that Fig. 1 shows the rod between two support walls, in the extended state, but with the clamping mechanism not triggered. In contrast, Fig. 3 shows the same rod as Fig. 1 between two walls in the extended state, but with the clamping mechanism triggered.
When assembling the construction element, which, for. B. serves as a curtain rod, the procedure is as follows:
The not yet extended rod is prepared before assembly so that the clamping mechanism is brought into the clamping position, i.e. H. at this moment at the latest, if not already after production, the rod 6 is pressed into the inner telescopic tube 2 by pressure on the buffer 8 to such an extent that the locking element, i. H. Button 11, snaps into the opening of the insertion sleeve 10 of the tube 2. In this position the spring 7 is compressed and when the tensioning mechanism is triggered it will clamp the rod between the two lateral limits thanks to the force of the spring 7.
This state is illustrated in FIG. 1 of the drawing, where the rod has already been drawn out between two boundary walls in the simplest manner to the distance between the walls. It is important that the locking element 3 is dragged with play S and that the damping spring 16 is relaxed in this state.
Fig. 3 of the drawing shows the rod in the same position as in Fig. 1, i.e. H. arranged between two boundary walls and in the extended state. The state in which the tensioning mechanism was triggered is shown here. This is done by pressing the button 11, and after disengaging this button from the opening 13 of the sleeve 10 under the action of the spring 7, a displacement takes place. Since the rod 6 already bears against the boundary surface via the buffer 8, this tube, in which the actual tensioning mechanism is accommodated, can no longer move. However, in order for the release button to disappear and the spring to have an effect, the inner tube 2 must therefore move relative to the rod 6. This is done under the pressure of the spring 7 and thanks to the previous game S between the locking element 3 and the end of the inner tube 2nd
In the position shown in FIG. 3, the game S is thus canceled and the locking mechanism 11, 12 is pushed back by the amount of the game into the interior of the tube 2 or the insertion sleeve 10 stored therein.
The only precautions when assembling a rod in the object according to the invention are that, before positioning, the tensioning mechanism is brought into a tensioned position (if it is not already in it), that the rod is then fully extended at the desired location between two boundary walls and that in this position the clamping mechanism is triggered by simply pressing the button 11.
Since the buffers, in particular also the buffer 8, are only plugged onto the tubes, it is possible, as in previous designs, if the two tubes are accidentally pulled too far apart, by reinserting the inner tube into the outer tube to perform a pull-out operation again kick off.
It goes without saying that the two springs 7 and 16 are matched to one another in a suitable manner. In the loose state, as shown in Fig. 2, the effects of the two springs cancel each other out. It is important that the damping spring does not counteract the actual tensioning force of the spring 7 when it is in the actual tensioning position according to FIG. 3. The bead 14 in the opening 13 of the insertion sleeve 10 naturally also serves as a rotation lock for the insertion sleeve 10. The outer part of the sleeve is also preferably provided with a longitudinal slot in which a pin on the third tube can engage in order to secure the tube against the moored one Guide sleeve in a predetermined position.
A suitable positioning of the inner tube 2 to the insertion sleeve 10 and, in turn, to the rod 6 via its slot can thus be ensured by these simple measures.
It should also be mentioned that the height of the button 11 of the locking device is dimensioned such that the inner tube 2 can also be inserted into the outer tube 1 when the device 11, 12 is tensioned.
To unclamp the curtain rod, the locking device is brought back into place by squeezing the two telescopic tubes and, thanks to the play mentioned in the locking element, the rod can be easily removed.
