Abstract

Electronic timepiece for generating date signals and for automatically setting the correct first day of each month. The timepiece contains a date counter which is indexed given the reception of a time pulse over a counting cycle of 1 to 31, and generates a date signal representing the counting, a month counter and a reset circuit which resets the date counter in a specific way to the counting content of one. Resetting is performed on the basis of the counting content of the month counter and of the date counter either at the end or before the end of the counting cycle. <IMAGE>
