The invention relates to a rectangular plastic container with a lid, for packaging slide frames and / or framed slides. Containers of this type are made of cardboard or plastic. They keep the slide frames arranged in a stack and are therefore bulky for mailing according to the mass of the slide and do not fit through the slot in the usual house mailboxes. Packaging and / or shipping containers made of plastic injection molding are also known which have individual stacking spaces for the goods to be packaged which are arranged next to one another in the longitudinal direction. These containers are flat enough for mailing, but are too heavy due to the unfavorable ratio and packaging volume to the surface in connection with the required partition walls.
The invention has for its object to improve the intended use of a container of the type mentioned in that it receives a favorable form for mailing, stable design and still light weight.
The solution to the problem set by the invention is that the container is made from a deep-drawn film and has three stacking spaces for the packaged goods arranged one behind the other in the longitudinal direction.
The subject matter of the invention is explained in more detail below using a drawing, for example. Show it:
Fig. 1 is a schematic view of a container with a removable lid and
Fig. 2 is a side view of the container with a non-positive lid in section.
The deep-drawn container 1 according to FIG.
1 and 2 has a lower weight than the known containers produced by the injection molding process. Another advantage of the container 1 is that the limitation of the container to three stacking spaces 3, 4, 5 arranged next to one another in the longitudinal direction is favorable for the packaged goods for mailing.
The container has a height of less than 20 mm.
The slide frames currently on the market mainly have a thickness of approx. 1.3 mm, so that with the maximum height specified above, three stacks of 13 frames, ie 39 slide frames, can be accommodated. This is sufficient for a normal 35mm film, on which usually 36 to 38 pictures are taken. With 2 the bottom of the container 1 is designated.
The stacking spaces 3, 4, 5 are delimited from one another by beads 8, 9 constricted inwards on both sides from the side walls 6, 7. This has the advantage that closed partitions are eliminated and the weight is consequently reduced. Furthermore, the beads 8, 9 exert a cushioning effect on the adjacent slide frame stack, so that they are well fixed in the longitudinal direction.
The essentially flat lid 10 of the container 1 has three recesses 11, 12, 13 corresponding to the stacking spaces 3, 4, 5 and a circumferential flange 15 running essentially perpendicular to the lid surface. The depressions 11, 12, 13 have a double function. On the one hand, they lead to a stiffening of the lid 10 and, after it has been attached to the container 1, also to a stiffening of the container. On the other hand, they serve to fix the slide frames or the framed slides in the stacking rooms 3, 4, 5. Their depth is chosen so that, if necessary, only 12 slide frames or framed slides are sufficiently defined in a stacking space.
The container 1 has an outwardly projecting, essentially in a horizontal plane circumferential flange 14, with which the lid 10 is non-positively connected or positively placed thereon. The positive connection is advantageously carried out by welding, the positive connection by locking. This type of connection of container 1 and lid 10 also improves the stability of the container with the lid.
In the embodiment of the cover which is non-positively connected to the container, the customer can cut open the container on three sides in the region of the peripheral flange and then fold up the cover. This embodiment has the advantage that the film amateur is protected from access to the framed slides. Of course, the frictional connection can also be made by gluing.
It is readily understandable that the container is suitable not only as a shipping container, but also as a packaging container, in particular in the embodiment of the form-fitting connection of the container and the lid. It is characterized by the fact that it is dustproof.
In a further embodiment, the substantially flat circumferential flange 14 of the container 1 can be configured by depressions I6 in such a way that an essentially dust-tight seal is achieved, but a certain air circulation is made possible. Since in many cases there is still residual moisture in the film in the fast development method that is common today, these depressions 16 forming air channels prevent the formation of condensed water.
