REVENDICATIONS
1. Appareil médical hygiénique pour l'administration d'un suppositoire, caractérisé en ce qu'il se compose d'un corps cylindrique de maintien (i) à extrémités débouchantes dont l'une constitue réceptacle (4) pour le suppositoire, et d'un piston (2) coulissant dans le corps, engagé dans l'autre extrémité (5) de ce dernier et comportant un poussoir extérieur (8), de sorte que, par maintien du corps à l'aide d'au moins deux doigts et poussée du piston à l'aide d'un troisième doigt d'une main, le suppositoire est administré sans manipulation directe.
2. Appareil médical selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le corps (1) et le piston (2) sont des solides de révolution.
3. Appareil médical selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que le corps (1) comporte à son extrémité (5) dans laquelle est engagé le piston une saillie cylindrique (6) formant frein et destinée à faciliter son maintien.
4. Appareil médical selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que le poussoir extérieur (8) du piston (2) est constitué par une saillie cylindrique de ce dernier.
La présente invention a pour objet un appareil médical hygiénique destiné à remplacer les doigts de l'utilisateur pour l'administration d'un suppositoire ou d'une préparation pharmaceutique solide similaire.
Il n'existe pas, à l'heure actuelle, d'autres moyens que les doigts pour cette administration, et cela est cause de désagréments, en particulier pour les invalides et les personnes seules qui doivent faire appel à un tiers ou dont la maladresse ne permet pas de mener à bien cette opération. En milieu hospitalier, cette pratique impose au personnel chargé de soigner les malades impotents de fréquents lavages de mains qui sont causes de pertes de temps aux heures de soins, et peut blesser la pudeur de certains patients.
L'appareil médical tel que défini dans la revendication 1 offre une solution à ces problèmes par le fait qu'il permet d'éviter tout contact des doigts du soignant avec le patient et le suppositoire, et qu'il assure le maintien et le guidage de ce dernier pendant l'opération d'administration.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention.

Le corps 1 et le piston 2 de l'appareil représenté sont des solides de révolution.
Le corps 1 est un cylindre dont la chambre axiale 3 est de section constante et dont les extrémités sont débouchantes.
Une de ces extrémités constitue un réceptacle 4 destiné à contenir un suppositoire et l'autre extrémité 5 comporte une saillie cylindrique 6 formant frein et destinée à faciliter le maintien.
Le piston 2 est réduit à une simple tige dont une partie 7 est dimensionnée pour coulisser dans le corps 1 et dont l'autre partie comporte un poussoir extérieur 8 constitué par une saillie cylindrique dudit piston, à extrémité incurvée 9.
En position prête à servir représentée fig. 3, le piston 2 est engagé partiellement dans l'extrémité 5 du corps 1 de manière à laisser libre le réceptacle 4 dans lequel est disposé le suppositoire à administrer (non représenté).
Cette administration se fait aisément, par exemple à l'aide d'une seule main: deux doigts, par exemple le pouce et le majeur, maintenant le corps 1 de part et d'autre et au-dessous du frein 6, et l'index poussant le piston 2 par appui sur l'extrémité incurvée 9 du poussoir extérieur 8.
En position fermée représentée fig. 4, on remarque que la longueur de la partie 7 du piston coulissant dans le corps 1 est égale à celle de la chambre 3 de ce dernier, ce qui réduit au minimum l'encombrement de cet appareil pour son stockage.
La matière employée pour la réalisation de cet appareil sera, de préférence, un métal inoxydable dans le cas d'un appareil récupérable à usage personnel, ou une matière plastique pour un appareil constituant emballage perdu du suppositoire. Il est en effet pratique et économique, eu égard aux formes simples et élémentaires de cet appareil, de le réaliser en série et de le vendre avec les emballages qui reçoivent ce genre de médicament, cette présentation offrant en plus l'avantage d'éviter le nettoyage d'un appareil après chaque utilisation.

CLAIMS
1. Hygienic medical device for the administration of a suppository, characterized in that it consists of a cylindrical holding body (i) with emerging ends, one of which constitutes a receptacle (4) for the suppository, and d 'a piston (2) sliding in the body, engaged in the other end (5) of the latter and comprising an external plunger (8), so that, by holding the body using at least two fingers and pushing the plunger with a third finger of one hand, the suppository is administered without direct handling.

The present invention relates to a hygienic medical device intended to replace the user's fingers for the administration of a suppository or a similar solid pharmaceutical preparation.
At the present time, there are no other means than the fingers for this administration, and this is a cause of inconvenience, in particular for invalids and single people who have to call on a third party or whose clumsiness does not allow this operation to be carried out. In hospitals, this practice requires the staff responsible for caring for helpless patients to wash their hands frequently, which is a waste of time during treatment hours, and can hurt the modesty of some patients.
The medical device as defined in claim 1 offers a solution to these problems by the fact that it makes it possible to avoid any contact of the caregiver's fingers with the patient and the suppository, and that it ensures the maintenance and guidance. of the latter during the administration operation.

The body 1 and the piston 2 of the apparatus shown are solids of revolution.
The body 1 is a cylinder, the axial chamber 3 of which has a constant section and the ends of which open out.
One of these ends constitutes a receptacle 4 intended to contain a suppository and the other end 5 comprises a cylindrical projection 6 forming a brake and intended to facilitate maintenance.
The piston 2 is reduced to a simple rod, a part of which 7 is dimensioned to slide in the body 1 and of which the other part comprises an external pusher 8 formed by a cylindrical projection of said piston, with a curved end 9.
In the ready-to-serve position shown in fig. 3, the piston 2 is partially engaged in the end 5 of the body 1 so as to leave the receptacle 4 free in which the suppository to be administered is placed (not shown).
This administration is easily done, for example using one hand: two fingers, for example the thumb and middle finger, holding the body 1 on either side and below the brake 6, and the index finger pushing the piston 2 by pressing on the curved end 9 of the external pusher 8.
In the closed position shown in fig. 4, it can be seen that the length of the part 7 of the sliding piston in the body 1 is equal to that of the chamber 3 of the latter, which minimizes the size of this device for its storage.
The material used for the realization of this apparatus will preferably be a stainless metal in the case of a recoverable apparatus for personal use, or a plastic material for an apparatus constituting the lost packaging of the suppository. It is in fact practical and economical, having regard to the simple and elementary forms of this device, to produce it in series and to sell it with the packages which receive this type of drug, this presentation also offering the advantage of avoiding the cleaning an appliance after each use.
