Abstract

The apparatus (20) comprises a chassis (52) which holds a device (51) generating an increase in pressure in a detachable container (30). The container thus forms a drop B on a reagent S disposed on a support (22) which moves in translation on a column (24). When a drop B is formed, the support (22) comes into contact with it and detaches it from the container (30). The apparatus stops automatically when the drops do not form normally at the desired rate. The apparatus allows the repeated dispensing a very small drops of constant volume onto reagents, despite variations in the viscosity or density of the liquids to be dispensed and makes it possible to prevent successive specimens from contaminating each other. It is used for the analysis of blood serum. <IMAGE>
