Abstract
To calibrate mechanical resonators, consisting of a magnetic material, by removing material by means of controlled irradiation by a laser, it is required to excite the resonators into mechanical oscillations and to measure the frequency of the oscillations with the aid of a microphone. After the actual calibration process, the resonators are to be sorted with respect to the resonant frequency achieved and the oscillating capability. To carry out these various types of work sequences fully automatically in one device with relatively little technical complexity, the resonators are supplied by a vibrator device (5b) to a guide rail (6b), demagnetised in the latter and supplied to the holders (4b) of a rotary indexing table (2b). The rotary indexing table is used for supplying the resonators to a laser calibration device (3b) and to different ejection points in accordance with the resonant frequency achieved. To determine the resonant frequency, the resonators are excited into oscillations by a mechanical impulse by means of a mass-spring system and the frequency of the decaying oscillations is determined. <IMAGE>
