Abstract
The end clip (2a) of the spring (2) includes a first segment (2b) extending over a sector alpha of around 100 DEG and having at its root a thickness equal to that of the leaf of the spring. This thickness grows towards the extremity of the clip. A second segment (2c), which extends over a sector beta of around 95 DEG , has at its root a thickness equal to that of the thickest end portion of the first segment, and decreases towards the extremity of the said clip. Finally, a third segment (2d) extends over a sector gamma of around 165 DEG , the arrangement being such that the extremity of the second segment does not bear continuously on the inside face of the wall of the barrel, but takes its bearing thereon at two points. Thus, when the tension in the spring increases, the pressure exerted by the spring on the said wall falls, and the clip is induced to revolve in the barrel. <IMAGE>
