4. Train according to claim 1, characterized in that the telescopic coupling is controlled by screw and motor.
5. Train according to claim 1, characterized in that the telescopic coupling (10) is mechanically connected to a deflector (9) so that when the telescopic coupling is in its long position (1 0 '), the The deflector is raised to the working position (9 '), while when the telescopic coupling is in its short position (10) the deflector is lowered to the rest position (9) under the conveyor.
The present invention relates to a train for discharging bulk materials, in particular screenings resulting from stripping-screening of a railway track, composed of loading wagons on which carriers coupled to one another can run.
In the known evacuation trains, the carriers are coupled to each other in a fixed manner and run on a track, formed by rails, or by rollers mounted on the loading wagons.
The back and forth movement of the transporters during loading is controlled must by towing or pushing the transporters by means of a winch, a capstan or any other suitable means, either by means of the motorized rollers or rollers of the track. rolling; it is also possible to move the wagons under the carriers by means of a tractor, the carriers remaining stationary, hooked to the crier or to a relay wagon which carries the generator group and the control members.
With these known evacuation trains, as soon as the first wagon is loaded, the related carriers must be decoupled and moved forward, and so on to allow the loading of the following wagons, which each time involves a time of stopping the site.
The present invention avoids this drawback by the fact that the carriers are connected to each other by a telescopic coupling so as to allow the carriers to be separated from the loaded wagons from those of the wagons being loaded, without unhitching them.
The appended drawing represents an example of execution of the train according to the present invention.
Figure 1 is an elevational view of the dump cars.
Figure 2 is a view of the relay car.
The train, as we will designate hereinafter, consists, in a preferred form, of six wagons 1 equipped with two buckets 2 and 3 and two carriers 4 and 5, the latter being able to move longitudinally on rollers 11 fixed on skips 1 and 2, and a relay wagon 12 placed between the dump wagons and the stripper-screen 13.
The relay wagon 12 is equipped with a fixed transporter 7 and a mobile intermediate transporter 6. The fixed transporter 7 brings the screenings to the head of this wagon and unloads them on the first transporter 5 of a wagon 1 or on the intermediate carrier 6.
The intermediate conveyor 6 is towed in both directions of travel by a capstan 14 and a cable 15, and circulates at a speed of 4 m / min on its track. The available stroke of the intermediate transporter allows loading of the dump cars 1.
A generator unit 16 with a power of 100 KW provides energy for the transporters, the capstan, as well as for driving the traction axles.
The two axles of the wagon can be driven during work by hydraulic motors mounted on intermediate reducers.
A hydraulically controlled coupling automatically disengages the reducers when the generator set is stopped.
The forward speed of the relay car is variable between 0 and 500 m / h and adapts to the working speed of the screening machine.
The drive with two powered axles develops a traction force of 10 Mp, which allows six cars to be pushed on a ramp from 0 to 10 o / oo.
Each dump car 1 is equipped with two transporters 4 and 5. All the transporters of all the dump cars are coupled to each other by a telescopic hitch 10. Each transporter is provided, at its front end, with a deflector 9 which allows a regular distribution of the load over the entire width of the bucket. Because only one bucket is loaded at a time, only the loading point deflector must be in the working position 9 ', and at this loading point the two carriers 4, 5 must be moved apart one by one. on the other to allow materials to fall into the bucket.
Consequently the telescopic coupling is mechanically connected to the deflector so that when the telescopic coupling is in its long position 10 'the deflector is raised to the working position 9', while when the telescopic coupling is in its position short 10, the deflector is lowered to the rest position 9 under the conveyor.
This mechanical connection can consist, for example, in the fact that the deflector is connected on the one hand by the connecting rod 17 pivoted at 18 on the telescopic coupling 10, and on the other hand by the connecting rod 19 attached to the conveyor.
During the transport and unloading of the wagons, the carriers are moored on the track.
A control box can be mounted on each wagon which allows the carriers to be moved forward or backward, to activate the communication and alarm horns, as well as the rotating lights.
The operation of the train is as follows:
Before bringing them to the site, all the train carriers are successively coupled to the intermediate carrier of the relay wagon, moving them using the capstan.
Arrived on the site, the train is hitched to the screening machine, and the loading of the wagons can be done either by a back and forth movement of the carriers, or by moving back or forward the carriers successively using the capstan and the intermediate carrier.
As soon as the first bucket is loaded, the first transporter is moved forward by extending the telescopic hitch. At the same time, the deflector moves into working position and the second transporter begins to load the second bucket.
This work cycle continues until the train is fully loaded.
All movements are controlled from the platform of the wagon to be loaded, by a single man.
For the unloading of the wagons, carriers can either remain moored on the wagons, or be moved to another empty train.
