Abstract

The plate (11) of the movement carries a bar (9) supporting one of the bearings of the runner (19a) driving the seconds runner (10), situated at the centre. This bar has a pipe-like tubular projection (9a) also situated at the centre, supporting one of the bearings of the seconds runner at the centre and on which the cannon-pinion (24) is rotatably mounted. The runner (19) driving the seconds runner is supported, on the one hand, by the said bar and, on the other hand, by a bridge (18) of the framework of the movement. This arrangement enables the level of the battery (13) to be lowered and the height of the movement to be reduced. <IMAGE>
