The watch includes no movable piece but comprises an electronic module and a light-emitting diode or liquid-crystal display device, which are housed in a casing. With a view to increasing the reliability of the watch, all of the space left free in the casing by the module and the display device is filled with a dielectric liquid which is chemically stable and inert with respect to materials with which it is in contact.
