Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Schild mit einer Grundplatte und auf dieser befestigten Führungsschienen zum Haltern von mit entsprechenden Rippen bzw. Nuten versehenen, auswechselbaren Beschriftungsplatten.

Es sind solche Anordnungen bekannt, bei denen die Führungsschienen eine T-förmige Nut oder eine Schwalbenschwanznut sind: bei anderen. wie beispielsweise im älteren Schweizer-Patent No. 576.177 beschriebenen, sind Führungsschienen auf der Grundplatte befestigt, beispielsweise durch Kleben oder Schweissen. Es hat sich gezeigt, dass Schilder der beschriebenen Art ästhetisch störend wirken, weil einerseits die oft nur geschnittenen und nicht nachbearbeiteten Seiten der Grundplatte und/oder der Schilder, und andererseits die unvermeidlichen Zwischenräume zwischen der Grundplatte und den Schildern sichtbar sind.
