Fig. 3 einen Längsschnitt entlang der Linie III-III in Fig. 2.
The present invention relates to a photogrammetric evaluation device for stereoscopic observation of two aerial images and transferring the image information of these aerial images to a map, with two eyepieces and a beam splitter arranged between the first eyepiece and the first aerial image for simultaneous viewing of this first aerial image and the map.
Such a known device for supplementing cards is e.g. the so-called stereo detailer by Soud, in which the right eye can see the map image and one aerial image at the same time and the left eye also sees the second aerial image. However, this known device does not allow the affine and perspective distortions in the aerial photographs to be corrected.
The present invention now aims. to create a photogrammetric evaluation device of the type mentioned at the outset that, with a simple structure and ease of use, allows the distortions in the aerial photographs to be compensated for.
This purpose is achieved according to the invention in that in the partial beam path between the beam splitter and the card there is an optical arrangement for compensating for the affine or perspective distortions in an aerial image and that in a partial beam path between the beam splitter and the second eyepiece one between two positions displaceable optical arrangement is provided,
which in a first position for the purpose of stereoscopic vision releases the beam path between the second eyepiece and the second aerial image and interrupts the partial beam path between the second eyepiece and the radiation conductor and which in a second position for bicocular vision interrupts the beam path between the second eyepiece and the second aerial image and releases the beam path from the first aerial image via the beam splitter to the second eyepiece.
In the following, an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is explained in more detail with reference to the drawing.
It shows:
Fig. 1 in a schematic representation the essential optical components of a photogrammetric Auswertege advises,
FIG. 2 shows the evaluation device according to FIG. 1 in plan view, and FIG
3 shows a longitudinal section along the line III-III in FIG. 2.
The basic structure of the photogrammetric evaluation device is first described with reference to FIG. 1. The first aerial image is labeled 1 and the second aerial image is labeled 2. A lighting device 3 or 4 is provided to illuminate each aerial image. Furthermore, two arms 5, 6 are provided which are rotatably mounted about an axis 5a or 6a, which runs approximately perpendicular to the plane of the aerial images 1.2, and are coupled to one another for common rotation in the opposite direction. Each of the arms 5, 6 has a deflecting prism 7, 8 or an optically corresponding mirror system. Each deflecting prism 7, 8 is rotatable about the optical axis 1 or 02 of a pure objective 9 or 10 with a variable focal length (zoom system) running essentially parallel to the plane of the aerial images 1, 2.
By rotating the prisms 7, 8, the mutual tilting of the two aerial images 1, 2 can be compensated for. An exchangeable focusing lens 11 or 12 is arranged between each zoom system 9, 10 and the associated prism 7, 8.
A further deflecting prism 13, 14 or an optically corresponding mirror system and a field lens 15, 16 are arranged behind each zoom system 9. 10.
The coupling of the two arms 5 and 6 allows a symmetrical pivoting of the arms, whereby a change in the observation distance (x - parallax) for the homologous points in the two aerial images 1, 2 is possible without introducing a y parallax at the same time.
In the beam path STI, ST2 between the first aerial image 1 and a first eyepiece 17, an optical deflection element 18 or 18a (prism or mirror system) and a beam splitter 19 are arranged in addition to the optical components of the arm 5. In the partial beam path St3 between the beam splitter 19 and a card 20 is an optical element 21 for image rotation, in the present case a reversion prism (Dove prism), an optical arrangement 22 for correcting the affine distortions in the aerial images and an optical arrangement 23 for the Correction of perspective distortions arranged in the aerial photographs. The structure and mode of operation of the arrangements 22 and 23 will be described in more detail with reference to FIGS. 2 and 3.
A suitable lighting device 24 is provided to illuminate the card 20.
In the beam path ST4 between the second aerial image 2 and a second eyepiece 25 there is an optical deflecting element 26 which can be displaced from a first position shown in dashed lines in the direction of arrow A to a second position shown in solid lines. The deflecting element 26 can be a deflecting prism or an optically corresponding mirror system.
In the dashed first position, the beam path STg is released from the second aerial image 2 to the eyepiece 25, whereby stereoscopic viewing is possible, the map 20 being able to be seen through the eyepiece 17. If the lighting device 24 for the map 20 is switched off, the two aerial images 1, 2 can be seen stereoscopically alone.
If the deflecting element 26 is moved into the second position, the beam path St4 from the second aerial image 2 to the eyepiece 25 is interrupted and the beam path St1, St5 is released from the first aerial image 1 via the radiation conductor 19 to the second eyepiece 25. As a result, the map 20 and the superimposed first aerial image 1 are seen binocularly. If the lighting device 24 for the card 20 is switched off, only the aerial image 1 is seen binocularly. Correspondingly, when the lighting device 3 is switched off for the aerial image 1, only the card 20 is seen binocularly. By means of the deflection element 26, the device can be switched from stereoscopic to binocular viewing and vice versa.
Because the deflecting element 26 is arranged after the radiation splitter 19, the relative direction of the first aerial image 1 and the map 20 remains undisturbed.
With the facet method, in which the terrain is thought to be replaced by a polyhedron, the depiction of a facet in the aerial photograph contains not only the conformal but also perspective and affine distortions. Since the perspective and affine distortions have different causes, these distortions must accordingly be corrected independently of one another. Since every aerial image has these distortions, it would be correct in itself to correct these distortions in the beam path of every aerial image. However, this would mean that correction devices would have to be arranged in both beam paths. In the present device, the conformal distortions are corrected with the zoom system 9, 10 in each beam path St1, St4 of the aerial images, so that the desired recognizability of details is ensured.
In contrast, the perspective and affine distortions in the beam path St3 of the card 20 are compensated, which reduces the cost of correction devices.
In Figs. 2 and 3, the device with the built-in optical construction elements is shown in plan view or in section. The same reference numerals are used for the same components as in FIG. 1. In FIGS. 2 and 3, the aerial images 1, 2 are omitted.
The housing consists of a lower housing part 27 with a U-shaped cross section and a cover 28, which is not shown in FIG. In FIG. 2 the side walls 27a, 27b and in FIG. 3 the bottom 27c of the lower housing part 27 are shown.
The two arms 5, 6, which are of identical design and of which only one arm 6 is shown in FIG. 3, are rotatably supported by means of a bearing element 29 in the cover 28 about the axes 5a, 6a. A gear 30 is connected to the bearing element 29 in a rotationally fixed manner. The gears 30 of each arm 5, 6 are in engagement with one another, so that both arms 5, 6 are pivoted in opposite directions at the same time. The deflecting prism 7 or 8 is held in a holder 31. which is rotatable about the optical axis Oi or Ol of the zoom system 9 or 10. An operating button 32 is provided for rotating the holder 31. The controls for the zoom systems 9,
10 are not shown.
In each beam path Stl, St4 of the aerial images 1, 2 there is a deflecting prism 33 or 34 or an optically corresponding mirror system behind the field lens 15, 16. The two deflecting members 18 and 18a in the beam path St1, St2 between the first aerial image 1 and the eyepiece 17 are, as FIG. 2 shows, formed by two surfaces of a prism 35.
The radiation splitter 19 has a semi-permeable mirrored surface 19a. The deflecting prism 26 is held in a holder 36 which is slidably mounted in a guide 37. To move the prism 26 together with the holder 36 in the direction of the arrow A, a lever 38 is attached to the holder 36, which lever passes through a slot 39 in the bottom 27c of the lower housing part 27.
Lenses 40-45 are also arranged in the various beam paths, but these are only shown schematically.
In the beam path St3 between the card 20 and radiation splitter 19, a reflection prism 46 or an optically corresponding mirror arrangement is present between the arrangement 23 for compensating for the perspective distortions and the lens 40.
The optical components of the arrangement 23 for compensating for the perspective distortions are accommodated in a housing 47 which is rotatably fastened to a lens 48 which is screwed into the bottom 27c of the lower housing part 27. The housing 47 can accordingly be rotated about the optical axis O3 of the lens 48 which is perpendicular to the plane of the card 20. In the housing 47, two order prisms 49, 50 or optically corresponding mirror systems are arranged. The prism 49 is held stationary, while the
Prism 50 is attached to a holder 51, which is pivotably mounted about an axis 51 a, which runs parallel to the plane of the card 20.
To pivot the prism 50 and holder 51, the Hal ter 51 is connected via a connecting member 52 to a screw 53 which is guided through the wall of the housing 47.
By screwing in and unscrewing the screw 53, the prism 50 is rotated about the axis 51 a, whereby the beam is more or less deflected from the card 20 so that the card can be observed more or less obliquely.
The perspective distortions of the aerial images 1. 2 are consequently compensated for in that the map image is equally distorted. By pivoting the prism 50, the perspective in the aerial image 1 and by rotating the
Housing 47 about the optical axis O3 of the lens 48 compensates for the azimuth of the perspective.
The affine distortions of the aerial image 1 are also compensated for by corresponding distortion of the map image. For this purpose, the arrangement 22 for
Correction of the affine distortions the principle of the prism telescope according to Brewster-Amici uses, whereby in contrast to this prism telescope the two prism groups are not mounted one behind the other, but can be rotated together or rotated against each other. This rotation of the prism groups takes place by means of a differential gear. As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, each prism group consists of two deflecting prisms 54, 55 and 56, 57, respectively. The prisms of each prism group are fixedly mounted in a bevel gear 58 and 59 of a differential gear. The two bevel gears 58, 59 are arranged coaxially and are of the same size and are each rotatably mounted in a bearing 60 or 61.
In addition to these bevel gears 58, 59, the differential gear has two further bevel gears 62, 63, one of which (bevel gear 63) is attached to a common shaft 64.
By rotating the shaft 64, the two bevel gears 58, 59 are rotated in opposite directions about the optical axis 04 of the prisms 54, 55, 56, 57, which results in a mutual rotation of the two prism groups 54, 55 and 56, 57. By pivoting the shaft 64 about the optical axis 04 of the prisms 54-57, the two prism groups 54, 55 and 56, 57 are rotated together about the optical axis 04.
The arrangement 22 described forms an anamorphic zoom system.
The described photogrammetric evaluation device allows the interpretation of the details as well as the delimitation and orientation of the facets with the help of stereoscopy, whereby the affine and perspective distortions in an aerial image can be compensated independently of one another. The device described is particularly suitable for adding and adding to existing cards.
The device can also be used for other purposes, e.g. for labeling and generalizing.
