The present invention relates to a measuring device for measuring at least almost right angles on room surfaces.
The measuring device according to the invention is characterized by two legs running at least almost perpendicular to one another, one of the legs having a plane defining a plane as a reference leg, which extends at least almost parallel to the longitudinal axis of the reference leg, and the second leg as a measuring leg two sensing means for probing the room surface carries at least two points, and wherein at least one of the sensing means is designed to be displaceable with respect to the distance of its contact point to the measuring arm.
The invention is then explained, for example, with reference to figures.
Show it:
1 shows a principle for explaining the method for measuring the angle of two skewed straight lines,
2 shows a basic sketch to explain the method for measuring the angle of two intersecting straight lines,
3 shows the schematic structure of a device for performing the method on two intersecting straight lines,
4 shows a side view of a device for measuring the angle of two intersecting straight lines in two planes.
In FIG. 1, the points P1 and P are two surface points of a spatial area F which determine a first straight line G1, this straight line G1 only having the two points P1 and P2 with the spatial area F in common in the extreme case. A second straight line G2 is determined by a further pair of points Pa and P4 of the area F, which, in the extreme case, only has the said pair of points in common with the area F.
In the general case, as shown in FIG. 1, let the two straight lines G1 and G2 be skewed. An auxiliary straight line h is now laid parallel to straight line G1 so that it intersects straight line G2 at point S, so that the plane Fhg2 defined by auxiliary straight line h and straight line G2 runs parallel to the first straight line G1. If the distances d3 and d4 from the auxiliary straight line h to the pair of points P3 and P4 are tapped and the distance a between the two distance reference points A3, A4 is determined on the auxiliary straight line h, the angle E between the straight line G2 and the auxiliary straight line h or the Straight line G1 can be determined using the expression d3-d4 tga = ¯¯¯¯¯¯ a.
In Fig. 2 a special case is shown in which the angle of two straight lines G1 and G2 is determined, which, again determined by the point pairs P1 and P2, respectively, P3 and P4, do not run skewed, but intersect at point Q. Here the auxiliary straight line is h, the straight line G1 itself in accordance with the above-mentioned conditions. The calculation of the angle between the straight lines Gl and G2 is carried out analogously to the procedure explained in connection with FIG.
In Fig. 3 the basic structure of a device for executing the described measuring method, for intersecting straight lines, is shown. The first straight line G1 is given by two points P1 and P2 of the spatial area F, as is the second straight line G2 by two area points P3 and P4. Since both straight lines G1 and G2 in the general case penetrate the spatial area F differently, the measuring device 1 has an angle element 3, one leg 5 of which, as a reference leg, has an equally long support.
elements 7 is supported at the two surface points P1 and P2, and it therefore runs parallel to the straight line G1 laid through the points P1 and 2. It can be seen from this that the two support elements 7 have support points for the spatial surface that are equidistant from the reference leg 5 . The auxiliary straight line h is represented by a second leg 9, the measuring leg, which encloses a certain angle with respect to the reference leg 5.
The measuring arm 9 in turn has two support elements 11 and 12, which are brought to rest in the two points P3 and P4 and determine a straight line G2. Obviously, at least one of the two support elements 11, 12 must be variable with regard to its element protruding from the measuring arm 9.
It can be advantageous to design the two support elements 11, 12 to be displaceable along the measuring arm 9 in order to bring them to rest at the desired locations. The angle between the measuring arm 9 and the straight line G2 can be determined from the difference between the height of the support elements 11, 12 and their distance on the measuring arm 9. Depending on whether the support element 11, which is closer to the reference leg 5, is longer or shorter than the support element 12 located further from the reference leg 5, the difference in length of the two support elements 11, 12 will have a positive or negative sign. Accordingly, when the tangent is formed, the angle between the measuring arm 9 and the straight line G2 becomes positive or negative.
The angle (9 between the two straight lines G1 and G2 can be determined from the difference in the angle z between the two legs 9 and 5 and the angle z between the leg 9 and the straight line G2.
In Fig. 3, the area F is shown as a convex curved surface. Also concave curved room surfaces, respectively. the angles between straight lines on such spatial surfaces can be determined with such a device.
The device according to FIG. 3 is then modified in such a way that the support elements 7, 11 and 12 are not directed inwards but outwards with respect to the angle element 3.
4 shows a device for measuring the angle of two intersecting straight lines of a spatial surface, which device is particularly suitable for measuring the angle between two intersecting planes.
Basically, the transition from measuring two intersecting straight lines to measuring an angle between two planes is achieved in that the support elements not only rest at two points each on the legs of the angle element, but at at least three points each, that is, on each one level. These are the two planes whose angle of inclination is to be measured.
Thereby. that both legs are supported in terms of area on the corresponding planes, it is ensured that the angle between two straight lines is measured in one of the planes. These straight lines enclose the angle between the two planes. According to FIG. 4, the measuring device has an angle element 13, with a loading leg 15 and a measuring leg 19. The two legs 15 and 19 normally enclose a right angle: In the area where the measuring leg 19 and the reference leg 15 meet, the former has a through hole 21 parallel to the reference leg 15, in which, fastened by means of a locking screw 23, the neck of a dial gauge 25 is inserted.
This dial gauge 25 has a movable measuring sensor 27 which protrudes in a known manner through the neck of the dial gauge 25 and the bore 21 to the outside. Its altitude or position is indicated by a pointer of the dial gauge 25 in proportion to its length, as is known from commercially available depth measures. The measuring arm 19 also has a continuous longitudinal slot 31 perpendicular to a flat support surface 29 of the reference arm 15. On the side of the measuring arm 19 facing the inside of the angle element 13, a support point slide 33 is arranged displaceably along the measuring arm 19, which by means of a locking screw 35 which protrudes through the slot 31 and engages with a counterpart 37 on the upper side of the arm, can be locked.
A metric scale 39 is etched into the side surface of the measuring leg 19 so that the distance between its two support points with respect to the support point of the measuring sensor 27 of the dial gauge 25 can be determined with the aid of a mark 40 on the slide 33. The measuring sensor 27 has a ball 4'1 as a support element. On the slide 33, two balls 43 arranged parallel to the plane 29 are attached as support elements.
The dial gauge can now be calibrated, for example with the help of a sliding numerical scale, as is provided in commercially available depths, so that the pointer is at zero when the ball 41 protrudes from the measuring leg 19 at exactly the same distance as the bearing balls 43 from it Base surface are removed. In this case, if the device is placed against a plane with the surface 29 of the reference leg 15, the balls 43 and 41 rest on a second plane. When the pointer of the clock 25 is at zero, the second plane is exactly perpendicular to the first. If the angle between the two planes is not 90, the ball 41 will protrude more or less far from the measuring arm 19.
As a result of the above-mentioned calibration, the difference between the distances between the support balls 43 of the support ball 41 and the base surface 42 is then displayed on the clock scale. From this reading and the reading of the distance of the sensor axis of the sensor 27 from the straight line through the centers of the two support balls 43, the angle to be measured which the two planes enclose, respectively. its deviation of 90 "can be calculated. It goes without saying that it is easily possible to scale the dial gauge scale in such a way that an error angle or the deviation of the angle enclosed by two planes to be measured with respect to any calibrated angle can be read.
By using the outer surface of the reference leg 15 as a support surface and remounting the support point slide 33 and the counterpart 37 as well as the measuring mechanism 25, 27, 41, so that the support point balls 43 and 41 protrude outward with respect to the angle element 13, the same technique can be used the same device can be used to check the interior angles of two adjacent planes.
If the scale of the dial gauge 25 is scaled proportionally to the length of the exit path of the measuring sensor 27, a simple possibility of calibration results. For the 90 calibration, for example, a body is used which, among other things, is formed by four almost perpendicular surfaces.
The dial indicator is set in such a way that the pointer is approximately at zero when measuring the angle of two adjacent planes. Now let: do: the distance of the support balls 43 from the base surface 42 of the lower measuring leg 19, d,: the extent of the protrusion of the support ball 41 over this surface 42 at an angle, a: the distance of the straight lines through the support balls 43 and the support ball 41, and
K: an as yet unknown deviation of the scale zero point from the pointer position at exactly 90 ".
The value indicated by the pointer of the dial gauge 25 for an angle sx between that of the planes to be measured over which the measuring arm 19 lies and the measuring arm 19 itself is given by the expression:
EMI2.1
Since it was assumed that the angles on the calibration body should deviate little from 90 ", the angle will be small so that the following applies precisely enough:
EMI2.2
n (lin radians)
If all four angles sx are measured, their sum is:
:
EMI2.3
Since the Therm I represents the error therm and the Therm II the setpoint sum, it can be seen that the angle sum of the four angles is 360 "regardless of the individual values of the four angles or the summands, that the Therm II must be equal to zero when the scale indicates zero at an angle of 90 ". It follows:
EMI2.4
The sum of the values read off on the dial gauge 25 becomes, as in accordance with the expression
EMI2.5
the distance between the support balls 43 and the support ball 41, multiplied by the sum of the error angles, corresponds to four times the linear misalignment, this is determined by dividing the sum of the readings by four and correcting the zero point of the scale by the value thus obtained.
The calibration can be further refined by repeating this procedure.
A triangle is used for the zero calibration of a 60 angle, and a hexagon is used for the calibration of 1200. With an angle scaling of the clock scale, the process is simplified and also becomes more precise.
With the measuring device described above, it is possible to check angles on workpieces very precisely, the support points being defined, in contrast to conventional angle measuring methods, and a deviation from the target value being able to be recorded quantitatively.
To carry out the general method, the device according to FIG. 4 must be modified in such a way that the base surface 42 of the measuring leg 19 is arranged perpendicular to the central plane of the angle element 13, for example on an axis, and is pivotable about the intersection of the planes 29 and 42. The reference leg 15 must also be provided, for example, with two support balls and the measuring leg 19 only have two support balls 43 so that both legs can be brought to rest along crooked straight lines. The dial indicator can of course be replaced by other measuring devices, e.g. Depth measurements with direct display on the probe.
