Fig. 1 die Seitenansicht einer Befestigungseinrichtung,
B. Polyamid, in Frage.
The invention relates to a fastening device for a wedge plate for height-adjustable furniture, wherein the wedge plate has two scissor-like side parts, one of which is intended for attachment to the frame of the furniture and the other for attachment to the height-adjustable mattress frame.
Such wedge plates with corresponding devices for attachment to the bed frame are known and used in large numbers.
In practice, however, difficulties arise in the formation of a fastening device which, on the one hand, should be cheap and simple to manufacture and, on the other hand, must ensure simple assembly of the wedge plate on the bed frame.
In view of the large numbers of wedge plates, which are exclusively mass-produced, a simple design that is efficient down to the last detail is of decisive importance. The modern mass production of bed frames also makes it necessary to reduce the time for attaching or hitting the wedge plate to the bed frame to a minimum.
The previously known fastening devices for wedge plates do not fully meet the criteria mentioned, whereby a reduction, e.g. B. the fastening time on the furniture frame at the expense of more complex and thus more expensive construction of the fastening device itself can be observed.
The invention is accordingly based on the object of avoiding the disadvantages of the known Ztl, so in particular to create a fastening device for a wedge plate which can be manufactured in the simplest and cheapest way and which is also easy and quick to assemble.
According to the invention, this is achieved by a fastening device which is characterized by a fastening bolt with a bearing groove, by a slot provided transversely in one side part for receiving the bolt, which is slightly wider than the diameter of the bearing groove of the bolt, and by a slot in the area of the Slot arranged locking device which locks the one side part after the introduction of the bolt into the slot with the bolt.
As can be seen, the fastening device according to the invention consists of a bolt provided with a groove, which is inexpensive to manufacture, a bolt in the simplest way in the wedge plate side part, for. B. millable or punchable slot, as well as a locking device that can also be manufactured cheaply for holding the bolt in the slot. At the same time, in this one embodiment, the assembly time is reduced to a minimum, since the wedge plate side part is simply pushed onto the bolt by means of the slot until the locking device is snapped into place. The attachment of the bolt on the bed frame can, for. B. by simply hammering the bolt into the material of the bed frame or
of the furniture frame.
For the locking device, various embodiments in different materials are conceivable, provided they are suitable for resiliently tapering the slot in the side part or for locking the bolt there after it has been pressed into the slot.
A plastic element adapted to the outer shape of the wedge plate side part, which surrounds the side part on at least three sides, and which has a slot which is approximately aligned with the slot in the side part and into which at least one protrusion protrudes laterally, is particularly advantageously suitable as a locking device. With a view to simple production, plastic injection-molded parts that can be mass-produced at low cost are particularly suitable.
To connect the locking device and the wedge plate side part, it is advantageous if a projection or a complementary recess is arranged on the side part and / or on the locking device so that the locking device engages on the side part after being pushed onto the side part.
The invention is explained in more detail below in exemplary embodiments with reference to the drawings. Show it:
1 shows the side view of a fastening device,
Fig. La is the side view of the fastening device according to FIG. 1,
Fig. 2 is a sectional view along the line B-B in Fig. La,
3 shows a sectional illustration of the fastening device according to FIG. 1 along the line A-A on an enlarged scale and
4 shows a modified embodiment of the fastening device in side view.
According to FIGS. 1 to 3, a side part 1, designed as a toothed rack, of a wedge plate which is otherwise not shown in detail, has a slot 2 which is intended to receive a bolt 3. The bolt 3 is attached laterally in a manner not shown in the frame of a piece of furniture.
The bolt 3 is also provided with a bearing groove 4, which ensures that the side part 1 sits on the bolt 3 with a lateral hold. In order to lock the side part 1 on the bolt 3 without, however, impairing the pivoting movements of the side part 1 about the bolt 3, a locking device 5 is attached to the side part 1.
As shown, the locking device 5 is a molded part with an opening 6 corresponding to the cross section of the side part 1, so that the side part 1 can be laterally inserted into the locking device 5. Coincident with a slot 2 in the side part 1, a slot 8 is provided in the locking device 5, so that the bolt 3 can be pushed in easily. Projections 9 provided in the slot 8 of the locking device 5 oppose a certain resistance to the insertion of the bolt 3, which, however, can be overcome due to the elastic material properties of the locking device 5 molded from plastic. After being pushed into the slot 2 or 8, the bolt 3 is held firmly in its position by the projections 9.
It should be noted that the side part 1 is only slightly loaded in the direction of the slot opening, so that the projections 9 are not heavily stressed.
To improve the elasticity of the locking device 5, two recesses 10 are provided in its wall, which make it easier for the projections 9 to yield to the side when the bolt 3 is pushed into the slot 8. The material used for the locking device 5 is a variety of plastics, such as. B. polyamide, in question.
In order to hold the locking device 5 firmly on the latter after it has been attached to the side part 1, a notch 11 is provided on the side part 1, into which a cam 12 on the locking device 5 engages.
Obviously, the fastening device shown is extremely easy to manufacture and efficient to assemble.
Fig. 4 shows a modified embodiment, in which a spring element 5a is inserted into the slot 2 of the side part 1 as a locking device. The spring element, which in the exemplary embodiment consists of plastic but can also consist of metal, is supported in two undercuts 2a and 2b on the side part 1. As in the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 3, two projections 9 have the effect that a bolt that has been pushed in is held firmly in the slot 2. In order to prevent the spring element 5 from tilting to the side, tabs 5b are provided which clasp the side part 1 in a U-shape. As can be seen, the spring element 5a acts as a locking device and can certainly be used with limited stress, but without being as stable and wear-resistant as the locking device according to FIGS. 1 to 3.
