Die Erfindung betrifft ein Schmuckstück mit Edel- oder Halbedelsteinen, die in Fassungen angeordnet sind, wenigstens einer Leuchtdiode und Anschlussleitungen zum Verbinden der Leuchtdiode mit einer Spannungsquelle.
In der franz. Patentschrift Nr. 2258 144 ist ein Schmuckstück beschrieben, das die Form eines flachen Kästchens besitzt. Dieses Kästchen ist mittels einer lichtdurchlässigen Frontwand abgedeckt. Auf dieser Frontwand ist ein künstlerisches Motiv aus lichtundurchlässigem Material aufgetragen.
Das Kästchen ist durch eine Rückwand abgeschlossen und im Innern des Kästchens befindet sich eine Zwischenwand, an welcher eine Anzahl Leuchtdioden befestigt und eine Schaltvorrichtung angeordnet sind. welche Schaltvorrichtung die Leuchtdioden abwechslungsweise mit einer zwischen der Zwischenwand und der Rückwand angeordneten Stromquelle verbindet, so dass die Leuchtdioden abwechslungsweise aufleuchten und das künstlerische Motiv von hinten verschiedenartig beleuchtet, wodurch ein besonderer Effekt erzielt wird.
Dieses Kästchen kann als Anhänger an einer Halskette oder an einem Armband getragen werden.
Es ist Aufgabe der Erfindung ein Schmuckstück der eingangs genannten Art zu schaffen, bei dem mit Hilfe von Leuchtdioden ein künstlerischer Lichteffekt unter Mitwirkung der Lichtbrechung der Edel- oder Halbedelsteine erzielt wird.
Das erfindungsgemässe Schmuckstück ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Leuchtdiode in eine der Fassungen angeordnet ist, so dass die Leuchtdiode von der Frontseite des Schmuckstückes her direkt sichtbar ist.
Der Erfindungsgegenstand ist nachstehend mit Bezugnahme auf die Zeichnung beispielsweise näher erläutert. Es zeigen:
Fig. 1 eine Draufsicht auf eine Brosche mit verschieden grossen Edel- oder Halbedelsteinen,
Fig. 2 einen Schnitt längs der Linie II-II der Fig. 1 und
Fig. 3 einen Schnitt längs der Linie III-III der Fig. 2.
In der Fig. 1 ist eine Brosche mit einem zentral angeordneten, relativ grossen Edel- oder Halbedelstein 1 in der Draufsicht dargestellt, In gleichmässigen Abständen um den Stein 1 sind ovale Steine 2 und Rosetten 3 angeordnet. Jede Rosette umfasst auf einem Kreis angeordnete kleinere Steine 4 und in der Mitte eine Leuchtdiode 5.
Die Fig. 2 zeigt einen Schnitt durch die Brosche längs der Linie II > II der Fig. 1, so dass nur der zentrale Stein 1 und zwei der Rosetten 3 sichtbar sind. Die Steine 1 und 4 sowie die Leuchtdioden 5 sind in Fassungen 6 bzw. 7 gehalten, die ihrerseits über Tragarme 8 mit einer Grundplatte 9 verbunden sind. Auf der Rückseite der Grundplatte 9 ist eine Anstecknadel 10 schwenkbar angeordnet, welche Nadel in einen Verschlusshaken 11 einklinkbar ist und zum Befestigen der Brosche an einem Kleidungsstück dient.
Die Fig. 3 zeigt einen Schnitt entlang der Linie III-III der Fig. 2 durch eine der Fassungen 7, in welcher die Leuchtdiode 5 gehalten ist. Die Umhüllung der Leuchtdiode 5 besteht aus durchsichtigem Kunststoff und der über die Fassung 7 vorstehende Teil der Leuchtdiode 5 weist im wesentlichen die Form eines geschliffenen Edel- oder Halbedelsteines auf. Dadurch entsteht bei nicht erregter Leuchtdiode der Eindruck, dass die Rosette 3 nur Steine aufweise, so dass sich die Brosche von einer gewöhnlichen Brosche ähnlicher Art praktisch nicht unterscheidet.
Die beiden Anschlussleiter der Leuchtdiode 5 sind mit einem dünnen Kabel 12 verbunden, das sich längs des Tragarmes 8 unterhalb des zentralen Steines 1 erstreckt. In diesem Bereich, der von vorne her nicht sichtbar ist, sind die Kabel der übrigen Leuchtdioden so miteinander verbunden, dass alle Leuchtdioden in Reihe geschaltet sind. Die Endpunkte dieser Reihenschaltung sind an ein Anschlusskabel 13 angeschlossen, das an eine nicht dargestellte Spannungsquelle anschliessbar ist. Die Tragarme 8 können auch hohl ausgebildet sein, so dass die Kabel 8 im Innern der Tragarme geführt werden können, wodurch die Kabel 8 nicht nur unsichtbar sind sondern auch vor Beschädigung geschützt sind.
Wird das freie Ende des Kabels 13 auf nicht dargestellte Weise an die genannte Spannungsquelle angeschlossen, so leuchten die Leuchtdioden auf und ergeben zusammen mit dem Brechungseffekt der die Leuchtdioden 5 umgebenden Steine 4 einen ästhetischen Lichteffekt.
In der Mitte der Rosette kann ein Edel- oder Halbedelstein angeordnet sein und einer oder mehrere der diesen mittleren Stein umgebenden Steine 4 kann durch eine Leuchtdiode ersetzt sein.
Das oben beispielsweise beschriebene Schmuckstück ist eine Brosche, Das Schmuckstück kann aber ein Anhänger, ein Armreif, ein Ring, ein Ohrgehänge oder eine Halskette sein.
Als Spannungsquelle dienen vorzugsweise Knopfzellen oder kleine wieder aufladbare Akkumulatoren. Die Spannungsquelle kann über eine elektronische Schaltvorrichtung mit dem Anschlusskabel 13 verbunden sein, so dass die Leuchtdioden intermettierend oder abwechslungsweise aufleuchten.
PATENTANSPRUCH
Schmuckstück mit Edel- oder Halbedelsteinen, die in Fassungen angeordnet sind, wenigstens einer Leuchtdiode und Anschlussleitungen zum Verbinden der Leuchtdiode mit einer Spannungsquelle, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Leuchtdiode in einer der Fassungen angeordnet ist, so dass die Leuchtdiode von der Frontseite des Schmuckstückes her di rekt sichtbar ist.
UNTERANSPROCHE
1. Schmuckstück nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der sichtbare Teil der Leuchtdiode im wesentlichen die gleiche Form und Grösse aufweist, wie die ihr benachbarten Edel- oder Halbedelsteine.
2. Schmuckstück nach Unteranspruch 1, mit mehreren rosettenartig angeordneten Edel- oder Halbedelsteinen und einer Anzahl Leuchtdioden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in jeder Rosette eine der Leuchtdioden angeordnet ist.

This box can be worn as a pendant on a necklace or bracelet.
It is the object of the invention to create a piece of jewelry of the type mentioned at the outset, in which an artistic light effect is achieved with the aid of light-emitting diodes with the help of the refraction of light of the precious or semi-precious stones.
The piece of jewelry according to the invention is characterized in that the light-emitting diode is arranged in one of the sockets, so that the light-emitting diode is directly visible from the front of the piece of jewelry.

In FIG. 1, a brooch with a centrally arranged, relatively large precious or semi-precious stone 1 is shown in plan view. Oval stones 2 and rosettes 3 are arranged at regular intervals around stone 1. Each rosette comprises smaller stones 4 arranged on a circle and a light-emitting diode 5 in the middle.
FIG. 2 shows a section through the brooch along the line II> II of FIG. 1, so that only the central stone 1 and two of the rosettes 3 are visible. The stones 1 and 4 and the light emitting diodes 5 are held in sockets 6 and 7, which in turn are connected to a base plate 9 via support arms 8. On the back of the base plate 9, a pin 10 is pivotably arranged, which needle can be latched into a locking hook 11 and is used to fasten the brooch to an item of clothing.
FIG. 3 shows a section along the line III-III of FIG. 2 through one of the sockets 7 in which the light-emitting diode 5 is held. The envelope of the light-emitting diode 5 consists of transparent plastic and the part of the light-emitting diode 5 protruding beyond the socket 7 essentially has the shape of a cut precious or semi-precious stone. When the light-emitting diode is not energized, this gives the impression that the rosette 3 only has stones, so that the brooch is practically indistinguishable from an ordinary brooch of a similar type.
The two connection conductors of the light-emitting diode 5 are connected to a thin cable 12 which extends along the support arm 8 below the central stone 1. In this area, which is not visible from the front, the cables of the other light-emitting diodes are connected to one another in such a way that all the light-emitting diodes are connected in series. The end points of this series connection are connected to a connection cable 13 which can be connected to a voltage source (not shown). The support arms 8 can also have a hollow design, so that the cables 8 can be guided inside the support arms, whereby the cables 8 are not only invisible but are also protected from damage.
If the free end of the cable 13 is connected to the mentioned voltage source in a manner not shown, the light-emitting diodes light up and, together with the refraction effect of the stones 4 surrounding the light-emitting diodes 5, produce an aesthetic light effect.
A precious or semi-precious stone can be arranged in the middle of the rosette and one or more of the stones 4 surrounding this middle stone can be replaced by a light-emitting diode.
The piece of jewelry described above, for example, is a brooch, but the piece of jewelry can be a pendant, a bangle, a ring, an earring or a necklace.
Button cells or small rechargeable batteries are preferably used as the voltage source. The voltage source can be connected to the connecting cable 13 via an electronic switching device so that the light-emitting diodes light up intermittently or alternately.
