Fig. 1 einen Längsschnitt durch eine erfindungsgemässe Schnellkupplung mit einer Tellerklemmfeder;
Fig. 2 einen Längsschnitt durch die gleiche Schnellkupplung in gespanntem Zustand;
Fig. 3 einen Längsschnitt durch eine erfindungsgemässe Schnellkupplung mit einer Vorspann-Tellerklemmfeder;
Fig. 4-7 vier verschiedene Tellerklemmfedern in Vorderansicht.
Various quick couplings are known. There are basically two types: those with and those without a male connector on the hose or pipeline. The coupling according to the invention belongs to the second type mentioned. Such quick couplings are also known. There is, for example, a quick coupling in which the hose or pipe is held by means of a collet that can be moved in the coupling. Because of the large number of machining operations, the collet is already a very expensive part, which makes the entire coupling extremely expensive. In addition, the retention of elastic hoses is insufficiently guaranteed.
The invention is based on the object of creating a technically improved and more economical quick coupling.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by a housing which comprises a connecting part with a through-hole and a sleeve firmly connected to it with a through-hole in a sleeve end wall, in which at least one rubber-elastic sealing ring is slidably arranged, which encompasses the pressurized part of the annular space between the sleeve wall and a the sleeve seals the inserted end of the hose or pipeline to be coupled from the outside, and at least one displaceable pressure ring and at least one plate clamping spring are arranged against the end wall in such a way that the pressure in said annular space part pushes the sealing ring and the pressure ring in the direction of the sleeve end wall, so that the plate clamp spring is deformed and the hose or pipe clamps.
Some exemplary embodiments and details are shown in the drawing. It shows:
1 shows a longitudinal section through a quick coupling according to the invention with a plate clamping spring;
2 shows a longitudinal section through the same quick coupling in the clamped state;
3 shows a longitudinal section through a quick coupling according to the invention with a prestressing plate clamping spring;
Fig. 4-7 four different plate clamping springs in a front view.
Figures 1-3 show two different embodiment forms of the quick coupling according to the invention in section.
The housing consists of two parts, a connecting part 1 and a sleeve 2. The connecting element 1 can both be screwed onto a component and also be part of a component. Only one screwed-on element is shown in the drawing. The free passage through the connecting element begins with a chamfered bore 11 which merges into a hexagonal hole 12. The hexagonal hole 12 for its part then merges again into a chamfered bore 13, which has a larger diameter than the bore 11. At the transition into the hexagonal hole 12, the bore 13 forms a shoulder 14 which represents the stop for the hose or pipe to be inserted.
The external shape of the connecting part 1 shows the screw-on part with a thread 15. The thickened part 16 has a collar 17, the height of which corresponds to the wall thickness of the sleeve 2 that can be firmly connected to the connecting part 1. The sleeve 2 is closed at the end opposite the connecting part except for a through hole 21 for the hose or pipe to be coupled.
In the sleeve 2 all the effective parts are stored. These are the three basic elements: rubber-elastic O-ring 3, pressure ring 4 and a plate clamping spring 5. All elements are freely displaceable in the sleeve 2.
In Figure 1, a quick coupling according to the invention is shown with an inserted hose or pipe. In this state, in which there is still little or no pressure in the line, the O-ring 3 seals between the sleeve 2 and the hose or pipe. The pressure ring 4 and the plate clamping spring 5 are hardly actively involved in the coupling process in this state (FIG. 1).
If the coupled hose or pipeline is now pressurized, the line initially resting on the shoulder 14 moves and with it the freely movable parts 3, 4, 5. In particular, the pressure disc or pressure ring 4 pushes against the still relaxed plate clamping spring 5 the sleeve end wall. If the pressure rises even more, the resilient plate clamping spring 5 is deformed. Thanks to the radially extending recesses, the plate clamping spring can reduce its inside diameter, thereby exerting a certain notch effect on the hose or pipeline. When the pressure rises rapidly, the plate clamping spring 5 has the tendency to jump over the point of its maximum cross-sectional constriction in order to get into its reverse relaxed position.
However, this is prevented by the sleeve end wall and the pushing ring. The coupled hose or Pipeline is thus retained (Fig. 2).
However, so that the plate clamping spring 5 does not constantly relax and re-tension itself with constant pressure fluctuations, and thus exert an additional notch effect on the line, it is necessary that the spring can reach a defined latching position. This is made possible by the taper of the sleeve end wall, i.e. That is, the sleeve end wall has an inner side inclined centrally to the through hole, the inclination of which is smaller than the conicity of the plate clamp spring in the relaxed state. The force with which the hose or Pipeline is held in its locking position by the plate clamping spring 5, depends on the shape and material of the plate clamping spring and the conicity of the inner wall of the sleeve.
The same principle can be repeated for quick couplings that are exposed to particularly high pressure. Figure 3 shows such a quick coupling in section.
The connecting part is initially again an O-ring 3, this is followed by a pressure ring 4, which, in a modification of the coupling described above, has a conicity on the side facing away from the O-ring, similar to the inside of the sleeve end wall. The plate clamping spring 5 following the first pressure disk now rests against a second pressure ring 4 ', which in turn is followed by one or two plate clamping springs 5, which rest against the inside of the sleeve end wall. The function of this quick coupling is analogous to the coupling according to FIGS. 1 and 2.
It goes without saying that numerous variants are possible in the shape of the pressure ring or the end faces. The same applies to the shape of the plate spring clips. Figures 4-7 show only four possible shapes. All shapes have in common radial recesses 51 made at least along the inner diameter. Identical radial recesses 52 along the outer diameter increase the flexibility of the plate spring clips. It is up to a person skilled in the art to find the most favorable plate spring form for the respective coupling.
All embodiments of the quick coupling according to the invention can be uncoupled in the same simple manner. If there is no longer any pressure in the hose or pipeline S, the hose or pipeline can be pushed back up to the shoulder 14, or the pressure ring to the connecting part 1, whereupon the plate clamping spring 5 relaxes and the hose or pipeline relaxes can be easily pulled out.
