The following requirements are often placed on devices for the wet treatment of textile material: It should be possible to use textile material in various shapes and make-ups, e.g. B. as a wound coil, flakes, loose material, etc., should be uniformly precisely controllable with a suitable treatment liquid per unit of time and per kilogram of material weight. With certain material make-ups, this means that the washing is carried out in alternating directions, e.g. B. with wound coils alternately for precisely predetermined times from the inside to the outside and from the outside to the inside.
For certain other material make-ups, e.g. B. with harnessed threads, the liquid pressure required for washing should be built up slowly in order to avoid shifting of the threads, which could lead to breaks.
So that different textile materials and different make-ups can be treated in the same facility, the size of the liquid flow and thus the difference in pressure in front of and behind the material should be adjustable within wide limits. Such a change may also be necessary in the course of treatment, e.g. B. when certain textiles change their properties due to the influence of temperature or due to the action of chemicals, so that they oppose an increasing or decreasing resistance to the liquid flowing through them.
In known facilities, the textile material is held by suitable carriers and brought into contact with the treatment liquid in closed or open containers. To ensure thorough washing of the material, the treatment liquid is conveyed through the material. For this purpose, a centrifugal pump is used, for example, with which the treatment liquid is sucked off from one side of the material and pumped to the other side, creating a closed circuit. So that the direction of flow can be reversed, diversion valves can be arranged between the pump and the material to be treated, since the centrifugal pump basically only delivers in one direction. In various known devices, rotary registers or the like are also used instead of the valves.
The amount of flowing liquid can be controlled with a throttle device that limits the flow rate. Instead, you can also use a control device that changes the speed of the pump.
In other known devices, an axial pump is provided for circulating the treatment liquid, which has the advantage over a centrifugal pump that it can work in both directions, so that special devices for reversing the direction of flow in the bath are no longer required. The direction of flow is reversed by reversing the direction of rotation of the pump drive motor. In particularly advantageous devices of this type, the pump is arranged inside the container that holds the material, so that no pipelines are required between the pump and the material to be treated and thus the flow resistances between the pump and the material are also smaller.
However, control is difficult in such devices; Reversing the direction of flow of the liquid by changing the direction of rotation results in a high load on the motor and the switching devices, especially when short switching times are desired. The time lost by switching off the motor, coasting it to a stop and switching it on again in the opposite direction is often undesirably large.
The invention has the object to avoid the geschil derten disadvantages of known devices for Nassbehan deln of textile material.
The invention relates to a device for wet treatment of textile material, which has a container for receiving the textile material and an axial pump angeord designated in the container for circulating a liquid in the container and which is characterized in that the
Pump has a rotor with a plurality of blades, which are adjustable by means of a rod arranged in the rotor in order to control and reverse the pumping action, and that means for driving the rotor at a constant speed and in a constant direction are provided.
Preferably, the rotor blades can be continuously adjustable both when the rotor is standing and when it is running, similar to the known variable-pitch propellers and Kaplan turbine rotors, but in such a way that the blades are also adjusted beyond the neutral position, ie. H. can be tilted in the opposite direction in order to reverse the pumping action.
Based on the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the device according to the invention will be explained in more detail below.
According to the drawing, an axial pump for circulating a liquid is arranged in a lower part 1 of a vertically arranged treatment tank. The upper part of the container, not shown, can be designed in the same way and set up to receive textile material as in known wet treatment devices. Of course, the container could also be arranged horizontally.
The axial pump has a rotor 2 in which at least three blades 3, which are distributed in a circle, are mounted, preferably five or more blades. A rod 5 is arranged coaxially in the rotor, by means of which the blades can be adjusted both when the rotor is stationary and when it is running. In order to adjust the inclination or the angle of attack of the blades, the rod 5 can be actuated by a hydraulic cylinder 4 or, instead, also manually, mechanically or by a pneumatic control device (not shown). The rod 5, which also extends through the drive shaft of the rotor, is connected to the axes of rotation 7 of the blades 3 via connecting levers 6.
The pump is enclosed on the outside by a housing of the usual type with a mechanical seal 8 and is also driven in the usual way, the drive shaft being supported in ball bearings 9 and connected via belt 10 to an electric drive (not shown) which runs at constant speed and in running in the same direction.
The device described has the following advantages over known wet treatment devices: (a) The amount of flowing liquid can easily be adapted to the existing requirements, since changes are possible without difficulty even during operation.
(b) There are practically no losses associated with the control in the entire flow rate range between zero and maximum delivery rate, since no throttling or diversion devices are required to reduce the flow rate. The pump can therefore work with its optimal efficiency in most cases.
An additional control, for example by changing the speed, is not required.
(c) The direction of rotation of the drive shaft always remains the same, so that a drive motor with a variable direction of rotation is not required. The pump rotor can be driven continuously for the entire duration of a treatment, since the reversal of the direction of flow of the liquid can be effected in the same way as the control by simply adjusting the rotor blades.
(d) The reversal of the direction of flow of the liquid can, if desired, be effected in a very short time, since the flow of liquid can be completely stopped by setting the rotor blades to their neutral position and then the pump can work under the same conditions as before with the opposite direction of delivery.
(e) To start the pump, the rotor blades can be brought into their neutral position so that the
The motor is practically not loaded during start-up and can quickly reach its full speed without the feeding power grid being additionally loaded.
