Abstract

The weighing device is used to obtain the approximate weight of a letter. It comprises a plate (1), to which the letter (3) can be attached at one end and which has a number of transverse scale lines (4) marked along its length. The plate (1) is positioned over the edge (5) of a table, so that the letter (3) hangs down and the position of the plate (1) relative to the table edge (5) is adjusted until the weight of the letter (3) is counter-balanced. The scale line (4) aligned with the table edge at this point indicates the weight of the letter (3).

   Die Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung zum Wägen von Gegenständen insbesondere von Briefen.



   Die bekannten Briefwaagen bestehen aus mehreren beweglichen Teilen und sind daher anfällig auf Beschädigung, aufwendig und teuer. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine möglichst einfache, zweckentsprechende, störungsunanfällige und preisgünstige Waage zu erhalten.



   Erfindungsgemäss wird dies dadurch erreicht, dass ein über einer Kante ausbalancierbarer Träger eine   Befesflgungseinnch-    tung zur Aufnahme des Wägegutes und eine Skala zur Ablesung der Gewichtsangabe aufweist.



   Im folgenden wird anhand der beiliegenden Zeichnung ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung näher beschrieben.

Fig. 2 eine perspektivische Ansicht der Waage mit einem Wägegut in ausbalanciertem Zustand.



   Die in den beiden Figuren dargestellte Waage besteht aus einem Träger 1, welcher eine Befestigungseinrichtung 2 zur Aufnahme des Wägegutes 3 und eine Skala 4 aufweist. Die Skala 4 ist derart angeordnet, dass auf ihr bei ausbalanciertem Träger 1 über der Kante 5, - beispielsweise eines Tisches - das Gewicht des Wägegutes ablesbar ist.

 

   Mit dieser Einrichtung ist es möglich, Gegenstände auf einfache billige Art zu wägen, ohne einen relativ teuren, komplizierten, störungsanfälligen und aus mehreren Teilen bestehenden Apparat zu verwenden.



   PATENTANSPRUCH



   Einrichtung zum Wägen von Gegenständen, insbesondere von Briefen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein über einer Kante (5) ausbalancierbarer Träger (1) eine Befestigungseinrichtung (2) zur Aufnahme des Wägegutes (3) und eine Skala (4) zur Ablesung der Gewichtsangabe aufweist.

   The balance shown in the two figures consists of a carrier 1, which has a fastening device 2 for receiving the goods to be weighed 3 and a scale 4.    With this device it is possible to weigh objects in a simple, inexpensive manner without using a relatively expensive, complicated, breakdown-prone and multi-part apparatus.
