La présente invention concerne un projecteur pour film cinématographique, enroulé dans une cassette et formant une boucle pour projeter les images, le projecteur comportant un boîtier avec une face avant, une face arriére et des faces latérales y compris des faces supérieure et inférieure, le boîtier contenant un écran de projection translucide dans la face avant, sur lequel une image du film peut être projetée à l'aide d'une source lumineuse de projection et d'un système de projection optique, et comportant en outre un logement pour être chargé d'une cassette à travers une ouverture, le logement étant pivotable autour d'au moins un axe d'une position d'introduction de la cassette à une position de projection.
On connaît déjà des projecteurs de ce type dont le logement est pivotable autour d'un axe dans une direction perpendiculaire par rapport à l'axe de l'enroulement du film. De ce fait, il fallait retirer les broches d'entraînement pour l'enroulement du film pendant ce mouvement. Cela nécessitait une construction coûteuse et compliquée.
La présente invention a pour but de remédier à cet inconvénient et de réaliser un projecteur avec un mécanisme simple et moins coûteux sans augmenter la profondeur du boîtier ou compliquer le chargement du logement. Le projecteur selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce que le logement est agencé de façon à pouvoir être chargé du côté de l'écran de projection à travers l'ouverture disposée dans une des faces à l'exception de la face arrière et que l'axe de pivotement du logement est prévu dans un plan perpendiculaire par rapport au plan de l'axe de l'enroulement du film.
Les dessins annexés représentent, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution du projecteur audio-visuel à cassettes, objet de la présente invention.

la fig. 3 est une vue de dessus, illustrant une variante de réalisation du projecteur audio-visuel selon l'invention.
La fig. 1 représente une vue en perspective du projecteur audio-visuel comportant un boîtier 1 dont la face avant est équipée d'un écran translucide 2, d'un magnétophone 3 et d'un dispositif 4 d'introduction des cassettes-images. Le magnétophone 3, disposé verticalement entre l'écran translucide 2 et le système 4 d'introduction des cassettes-images, présente sur la face avant du boîtier 1 une grille 5 de protection du haut-parleur, un volet 6 pivotable autour d'un axe (non représenté) parallèle à l'un de ses côtés horizontaux, destiné à l'introduction des cassettes-son. A sa partie supérieure se trouve un levier de commande 7 logé dans un évidement 8 du boîtier 1, pouvant se déplacer de part et d'autre de sa position d'équilibre verticale, dans le sens de la flèche.
Il est destiné à commander le rebobinage rapide, dans un sens ou dans l'autre, de la bande magnétique contenue dans une cassette-son.
De légères entailles 9 disposées de part et d'autre de l'évidement 8 servent d'appui lors de la manipulation du levier de commande 7.
Le système 4 d'introduction des cassettes-images se présente extérieurement sous la forme d'une porte 10 pivotable autour d'un axe vertical. La porte 10 présente un évidement dans lequel est logé un bloc de commande à distance 1 1 qui sera décrit plus en détail en référence à la fig. 2. Au-dessus de la porte 10 sont situés deux boutons de commande 12 et 13 destinés respectivement à la mise au point de l'objectif de projection et au cadrage de l'image.
En dessous de la porte 10 se trouvent trois autres boutons de commande 14, 15, 16 destinés respectivement à sélectionner le mode de fonctionnement, au réglage du volume et au réglage de la tonalité.
La fig. 2 est une vue de dessus partiellement coupée du projecteur audio-visuel. Le boîtier 1 est limité à l'arrière par une coque 21 destinée à abriter certains organes mécaniques et équipée de grilles de refroidissement 22. Parmi les organes fonctionnels du dispositif de projection de films cinématographiques, seuls les éléments optiques ont été représentés. Ils comportent une lanterne de projection 23, un prisme 24 à réflexion totale, un objectif 25 et un miroir plan 26. Le systéme d'introduction des cassettes-images, représenté en position ouverte, comporte un logement 27 pivotable autour d'un axe vertical 28, la porte 10 pivotable autour de l'axe vertical 29 et un organe mécanique 30 reliant le logement 27 à la porte 10. La fig. 2 illustre une cassette 31 partiellement introduite dans le logement 27.
En outre, sur cette figure, le bloc de commande à distance 11 a été extrait de son évidement, prévu dans la porte 10.
Le bloc de commande à distance 11 se présente sous la forme d'une boite comportant sur sa face supérieure une série de touches de commande 32, 33, 34, 35, 36 et 37. Ces touches respectivement servent à commander la marche arrière du dispositif de projection, sa marche avant à la vitesse de 36 i/s, l'avance du film image par image, l'arrêt sur image, l'enroulement automatique du cordon 38 du bloc de commande à distance et l'avance du film à la vitesse de 9 i/s. Une entaille 39 à la partie supérieure du bloc de commande à distance 1 1 facilite son introduction et son extraction de l'évidement qui le contient lorsqu'il est fixé sur la porte 10.
La fig. 3 représente une autre forme de réalisation du projecteur audio-visuel à cassettes selon laquelle le boîtier 1 présente une ouverture 50, dans l'un des côtés adjacents à la face frontale permettant l'introduction d'une cassette 31 dans son logement 27.
Outre l'ouverture 50, le boîtier comporte également un évidement 51 adjacent au magnétophone 3 et qui loge la commande à distance 1 1 dans sa position de repos. Les autres éléments, identiques à des éléments correspondants de la forme d'exécution représentée par la fig. 2, portent les mêmes numéros de référence que ceux attribués dans la description qui s'y rapporte.
Par la disposition de ses éléments constitutifs, le projecteur audio-visuel selon l'invention se présente sous la forme d'une boîte peu profonde et de faible encombrement. Le couplage entre
le dispositif de lecture et/ou d'enregistrement du son et du disposi
tif de projection de films cinématographiques est réalisé de telle manière que le projecteur audio-visuel à cassettes puisse être
utilisé comme projecteur muet, comme magnétophone, comme projecteur sonore dans lequel un film est projeté avec un son d'accompagnement et finalement comme projecteur sonore dans lequel le son est synchronisé avec l'image.

Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of the audio-visual projector comprising a housing 1, the front face of which is equipped with a translucent screen 2, a tape recorder 3 and a device 4 for inserting video cassettes. The tape recorder 3, arranged vertically between the translucent screen 2 and the video cassette introduction system 4, has on the front face of the housing 1 a speaker protection grid 5, a flap 6 that can be pivoted around a axis (not shown) parallel to one of its horizontal sides, intended for the introduction of sound cassettes. At its upper part is a control lever 7 housed in a recess 8 of the housing 1, which can move on either side of its vertical equilibrium position, in the direction of the arrow.

Fig. 2 is a partially cutaway top view of the audio-visual projector. The housing 1 is limited at the rear by a shell 21 intended to house certain mechanical components and equipped with cooling grids 22. Among the functional components of the cinematographic film projection device, only the optical elements have been shown. They comprise a projection lantern 23, a total reflection prism 24, an objective 25 and a plane mirror 26.
