There are already known units with a plurality of mutually rigidly connected, jointly rotatably mounted sanitary appliances. Such structural units have, for example, a storage frame and a plate rotatably mounted in it, on which the sanitary appliances separated from one another by partition walls are firmly mounted. Solutions have also already become known for how the discharges are to be designed so that they are absolutely odor-tight and that easy rotatability of the turntable is nevertheless ensured.
So far, the opinion has been that it is sufficient to deliver such a structural unit to the building site, i.e. for a new building or a house to be converted, in the opinion that it can then be carried out on the spot with conventional means by the craftsmen in question, such as Plumbing fitters, bricklayers, tilers and others can be installed and completed to the washroom.
The present invention relates to a further development of such a structural unit, which is characterized in that it is designed as a closed, externally rectangular cell, the walls of which consist of a total of five sound-absorbing, sound-absorbing cells that are identical on the upper and lower edges and form the lower cell closure , made of sound-absorbing material or trough provided with such a material, are made up of waterproof parts, which are held together at the upper edge by a sound-insulating cover,
With a structural unit according to this invention, further advantages can be realized in addition to the already known advantages, such as small space requirements, inexpensive construction.
You don't need a bricklayer or a paver on the construction site; a plumber is enough to connect the lines. If the cell is delivered to the construction site in individual parts, these individual parts can already be prepared during manufacture in the factory so that the cell can be assembled by simply plugging the parts together and fixing them together. Such a cell can then be mounted in a stationary or displaceable manner.
Further advantages that result from a special construction of the individual parts are explained below with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing.
In the drawing shows:
1 shows a plan view of a structural unit according to the invention along the line I-I in FIG. 2,
Fig. 2 is a vertical section along the line II-II of Fig. 1 and
3 shows the section from FIG. 2 labeled III on a larger scale.
1 with the turntable is referred to, on which a toilet bowl 2, a washbasin 3, a bidet 4 and a shower 5 are arranged. It is possible to give the plate a diameter of about 1.10 m and to attach the aforementioned sanitary appliances in such a way that they stand on the edge 1a of the plate without protruding beyond it. The individual sanitary devices are separated from one another by partition walls, with the wall closing the toilet area denoted by 6, the wall closing the lavabo area with 7, the wall closing the bidet area with 8 and the wall closing the shower area with 9 is.
As shown in the drawing, these walls can be formed from a single piece of plastic together with the relevant sanitary appliances and connected to one another by any struts or supports.
The turntable 1 is freely rotatably mounted on a bearing, not shown in the drawing, which can be, for example, the bearing known from the previously published patent specification 519 899. This bearing is located in the trough 10 which forms the lower cell closure and which consists of sound-absorbing material or is provided with such material. At the bottom of this tub a support frame 11 protruding laterally over the tub is attached to which, for example, four threaded sleeves 12 are attached, in each of which a threaded bolt 13 is screwed, which is provided with a slide shoe 14 at the bottom.
To avoid the transmission of sound to the floor on which the cell stands, one can, for example, either make the sliding shoe out of plastic or one can connect the threaded sleeve to the frame 11 via an intermediate damping layer or combine these two measures. In order to prevent unintentional turning of the sliding shoe 14, it is provided with a dovetail-like groove 14a in which an elongated nut 15 can pivot, but not rotate, which is tightened with a screw 17 passed through the base cover strip 16 and thus secures the sliding shoe .
The base cover strip 16 is fastened with a screw 18 on the support frame 11 and serves with its part protruding upwards over the support frame 11, the individual parts 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23 which are made of sound-absorbing material and which stand on the support frame and form the cell walls to hold on. As can be seen from FIG. 1, the two individual parts 19 and 20, which are mirror images of each other and which delimit one narrow side of the cell, form a semi-cylindrical inner cell surface, the radius of which is only slightly larger than the radius of the turntable 1.
In the corners of these wall parts, pipes are attached, for example a hot water return pipe 24, a supply air pipe 25, an exhaust air pipe 26, a pipe 27 serving as a downpipe, a hot water pipe 28 and a cold water pipe 29. Since the two elements 19 and 20 are designed the same above and below If they are made in a plastic mold, one and the same mold can be used for their production.
The two wall parts adjoining the wall parts 19 and 20, i.e. the wall parts 21 and 22, are of course the same size, namely as large as the fifth wall part 23 inserted between them, so that these wall parts are interchangeable, which is therefore particularly useful because one of them, here namely the wall part 23 closing off the narrow cell side, contains the door 30. This wall part can therefore be exchanged for part 21 or, after it has been turned so that its previously lower edge is now up, also for wall part 22. In this inverted position, however, it can also serve to close off the narrow side of the cell, so that the door hinge is then in the other corner.
This results in an inner cell length that is approximately 1.6 to 1.7 times the cell width, i.e. with a turntable diameter of 1.10 m an outer cell length of 1.90 m, which experience has shown for both a cell and a cell with good ventilation A washing and shower room as well as a toilet room is sufficient.
Of course, the individual wall parts are not only connected to the tub 10 but also to one another in a watertight manner. The sealing strips designated 31 and 32 in the drawing are used for this purpose.
At the upper edge, the individual wall parts are held together by the sound-absorbing ceiling 33, which clasps the wall parts at their upper end. An upper end strip 36 corresponding to the skirting strip 16 ensures a pleasing appearance.
Suspended below the ceiling 33 is an intermediate ceiling 34 provided with holes 34a, which serves to stiffen the cell and also to evenly distribute the fresh air supplied by means of a fan through the air supply pipe 25, if necessary preheated, over the cell.
The exhaust air can then escape downward through a grate 35, which is arranged at the level of the turntable 1, and flow away through the pipe 26. One possibility for connecting the liquid drainage lines of the sanitary appliances 2, 3, 4 and 5 to the drainage pipe 27, that is to say the downpipe, is described in the aforementioned patent specification 519 899. For the connection of the hot water supply line 28 with the hot water distribution pipe arranged between the intermediate walls 6, 7, 8 and 9 and the connection of the cold water supply line with the cold water distribution pipe attached next to the hot water distribution pipe, a between the ceiling 33 and the intermediate ceiling 34 is used Drawing not shown rotary coupling. The cladding plate 37 can be removed from the wall element 20 in order to carry out the connection work.
Since the cell is in a wall corner 40 in the position shown in the drawing, it is not necessary to attach a plate that is symmetrical to the shuttering plate 37.
On the inside of the two side wall parts 21 and 22, a casing element 38 or 39 is attached. These elements serve, on the one hand, to restrict the visible and accessible part of the turntable to 90 "and, on the other hand, to accommodate important details: The electronic control elements are housed within the casing element 38, which are used to control the motor rotating the turntable and to operate it To operate the control elements can be used on the outer surface of this cladding element or elsewhere arranged pushbuttons. The other cladding element 39 contains a hinged door 41, which closes a box 42 for items necessary for personal hygiene.
It can contain holders for tooth glasses, toothbrushes, towels, washcloths and toilet paper, as well as sockets for connecting the shaver and other devices.
The whole cell can be assembled in the factory and provided with all parts brought to the construction site and set up there. However, it is also possible to bring the cell to the construction site in the disassembled state, level the tub there and then start assembly. First you will insert the rise and fall lines 24 to 29 and connect them at the top and bottom. Then you can use the bearing for the turntable, then the wall elements 19, 20 and 21. Then the turntable with the connecting lines located in its vertical axis to the sanitary equipment is used and then the partition walls with the equipment and then the cladding elements 38 and 39.
The rest of the cell wall parts 22 and 23 and the ceiling 33 form the end, the cover strips 16 and 36 being attached after the corresponding wall parts have been inserted.
Materials that have already been tried and tested in aircraft construction are best suited as the material for the wall parts, i.e. preferably foamable plastics which, when foamed, form a hard and smooth, water-repellent layer on the outside, but a stiffening and sound-absorbing foam structure on the inside.
