Beim Versand von Paketen besteht insbesondere bei Massensendungen die Gefahr, dass Verwechslungen stattfinden und dass das im Paket untergebrachte Begleitpapier und die Versandadresse nicht übereinstimmen. Zur Vermeidung dieser Verwechslungsmöglichkeit sind nun bereits Couverts bekannt, die auf der Rückseite ein Fenster aufweisen. Für den Versand werden die Couverts auf der Vorderseite mit Leim bestrichen auf das Paket aufgeklebt und mit einem Begleitpapier versehen, das im Bereich des Fensters die Adresse des Empfängers aufweist. Diese Adressierungsart hat jedoch den Nachteil, dass das Aufkleben der Couverts mit Leim verhältnismässig mühsam und zeitraubend ist.
Es ist daher eines der Ziele der vorliegenden Erfindung, ein zum Aufnehmen eines adressierten Versandpapieres bestimmtes Couvert bereitzustellen, das mühelos an einem fertig verpackten Paket fixiert werden kann.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäss durch ein Couvert mit einem auf der Rückseite vorhandenen Fenster gelöst, wobei das Couvert dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass es auf der Aussenfläche der Vorderseite mindestens einen mit Klebstoff versehenen Flächenbereich aufweist.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes ist in der Zeichnung dargestellt und wird im folgenden näher beschrieben.
In der Zeichnung zeigen: die Fig. 1 eine Ansicht der Vorderseite des Couverts und die Fig. 2 eine Ansicht der Rückseite des Couverts.
Das in den Figuren 1 und 2 dargestellte, als Ganzes mit 1 bezeichnete Couvert weist eine glatte Vorderseite 2, eine Rückseite 3 und eine Verschlussklappe 4 auf. Die Aussenfläche 2a der glatten Vorderseite 2 weist streifenförmige Flächenbereiche 2b auf, die mit einem Klebstoff versehen sind. Der Klebstoff kann entweder ein Gummierstoff sein, der zum Kleben befeuchtet werden muss, oder ein selbstklebender Haftkleber. Im letzteren Fall werden die Couverts zweckmässigerweise mit einem die Flächenbereiche 2b abdeckenden Abdeckelement 10, etwa einem silikonisierten Abdeckpapier, versehen, so dass sie beim Lagern nicht zusammenkleben. Aus herstellungstechnischen Gründen ist es zur Erzielung einer guten Haftwirkung zweckmässig, den Klebstoff, insbesondere den Haftkleber, punkt- oder linienweise aufzutragen, so dass er auf den Flächenbereichen 2b einen Raster bildet.
Die Rückseite 3 weist eine als Fenster 5 ausgebildete Offnung auf. Bei einer besonders vorteilhaften Ausgestaltung ist die Innenfläche 2c der glatten Seite 2 im Bereich des Fensters 5 mit einer Beschriftung 6 versehen.
Diese Beschriftung 6 kann etwa eine Adresse, eine Warenbezeichnung, einen Werbeslogan oder irgendeine andere Information enthalten.
Die Verschlussklappe 4 und die mit den Randklappen 2d der Vorderseite 2 verklebte Rückseite 3 bilden zusammen den Verschluss des Couverts 1. Bei einer besonders zweckmässigen Ausführung ist der Verschluss als Selbstklebe-Verschluss ausgebildet und so gestaltet, dass er sich mehrmals öffnen und wieder schliessen lässt. Beim Versand eines Paketes wird nun das allfällige Abdeckelement 10 von der Vorderseite 2 abgezogen und das Couvert 1 durch Andrücken am Paket fixiert. Zur Adressierung wird nun ein adressiertes Versandpapier in das Couvert 1 gebracht.
Das erfindungsgemässe Couvert ist insbesondere für den Versand von Paketen vorteilhaft, die vom Empfänger wieder retourniert werden müssen, wie dies etwa bei Auswahlsendungen oder beim Buchversand durch Leihbibliotheken und Verlage der Fall ist. Bei einer für solche Rücksendungen besonders zweckmässigen Ausführung wird bei der Herstellung der Couverts die Adresse des Absenders als Beschriftung 6 auf die Innenfläche 2c aufgedruckt. Der Erstempfänger braucht dann für die Rücksendung nur das Couvert zu öffnen und seinen Inhalt zu entfernen, worauf im Fenster automatisch die neue Adresse erscheint. Es ist aber auch möglich, dass für die Rück- oder Weitersendung ein zusätzliches Begleitpapier beigefügt wird oder dass das für die Erstadressierung verwendete Versandpapier einen Talon mit der Adresse des Zweitempfängers aufweist.
In diesem Falle ist selbstverständlich auch eine mehrmalige Umadressierung möglich. Des weitern kann die Zweitadresse auch auf der Rückseite des Versandpapieres aufgedruckt sein. Es bestehen also verschiedene Möglichkeiten, wobei die Umadressierung in allen Fällen sehr einfach und mühelos erfolgen kann.
Selbstverständlich kann das Couvert auch ein anderes Format haben und anders verklebt sein als das in der Zeichnung dargestellte Ausführungsbeispiel. Beispielsweise kann es auch als Couvert-Tasche ausgebildet sein.
PATENTANSPRUCH
Couvert (1) mit einem auf der Rückseite (3) vorhandenen Fenster (5), dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es auf der Aussenfläche (2a) der Vorderseite (2) mindestens einen mit Klebstoff versehenen Flächenbereich (2b) aufweist.
UNTERANSPRÜCHE
1. Couvert nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Klebstoff ein Haftkleber ist, und dass die damit versehenen Flächenbereiche (2b) durch ein entfernbares Abdeckelement (10) abgedeckt sind.
2. Couvert nach Patentanspruch oder Unteranspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jeder der mit Klebstoff versehenen Flächenbereiche (2b) streifenförmig ist.
3. Couvert nach Patentanspruch oder Unteranspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Klebstoff auf jedem Flächenbereich (2b) einen Raster bildet.
4. Couvert nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Innenfläche (2c) der Vorderseite (2) im Bereich des Fensters (5) eine Beschriftung (6) aufweist.
5. Couvert nach Unteranspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Beschriftung (6) eine Adresse ist.

When shipping parcels, there is a risk, especially with bulk shipments, that mix-ups will occur and that the accompanying documents in the package and the shipping address will not match. To avoid this possibility of confusion, envelopes are already known which have a window on the back. For shipping, the front of the envelopes is coated with glue and stuck to the parcel and provided with an accompanying paper with the address of the recipient in the area of the window. However, this type of addressing has the disadvantage that sticking the envelopes with glue is relatively laborious and time-consuming.
It is therefore one of the objectives of the present invention to provide an envelope which is intended to receive an addressed shipping paper and which can easily be affixed to a packaged parcel.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by an envelope with a window on the back, the envelope being characterized in that it has at least one surface area provided with adhesive on the outer surface of the front.
An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing and is described in more detail below.
The drawings show: FIG. 1 a view of the front side of the envelope and FIG. 2 a view of the rear side of the envelope.
The envelope shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 and designated as a whole by 1 has a smooth front 2, a rear 3 and a closure flap 4. The outer surface 2a of the smooth front side 2 has strip-shaped surface areas 2b which are provided with an adhesive. The adhesive can either be a gum, which has to be moistened for bonding, or a self-adhesive pressure sensitive adhesive. In the latter case, the envelopes are expediently provided with a cover element 10, for example a siliconized cover paper, which covers the surface areas 2b, so that they do not stick together during storage. For manufacturing reasons, it is expedient to achieve a good adhesive effect to apply the adhesive, in particular the pressure-sensitive adhesive, point by point or line by line so that it forms a grid on the surface areas 2b.
The rear side 3 has an opening designed as a window 5. In a particularly advantageous embodiment, the inner surface 2c of the smooth side 2 is provided with an inscription 6 in the area of the window 5.
This lettering 6 can contain, for example, an address, a product description, an advertising slogan or any other information.
The closure flap 4 and the rear side 3 glued to the edge flaps 2d of the front side 2 together form the closure of the envelope 1. In a particularly expedient embodiment, the closure is designed as a self-adhesive closure and designed so that it can be opened and closed again several times. When a package is dispatched, the cover element 10, if any, is pulled off the front side 2 and the envelope 1 is fixed by pressing it onto the package. Addressed shipping paper is now placed in envelope 1 for addressing.
The envelope according to the invention is particularly advantageous for the dispatch of parcels that have to be returned by the recipient, as is the case, for example, with selected mailings or when books are sent by lending libraries and publishers. In an embodiment that is particularly useful for such returns, the address of the sender is printed as inscription 6 on the inner surface 2c during the production of the envelopes. The first recipient then only needs to open the envelope and remove its contents for the return, whereupon the new address automatically appears in the window. However, it is also possible that an additional accompanying paper is enclosed for the return or forwarding or that the shipping paper used for the initial address has a slip with the address of the second recipient.
In this case, multiple readdressing is of course also possible. Furthermore, the secondary address can also be printed on the back of the shipping paper. There are therefore various options, and readdressing can be done very easily and effortlessly in all cases.
Of course, the envelope can also have a different format and be glued differently than the embodiment shown in the drawing. For example, it can also be designed as an envelope pocket.
PATENT CLAIM
Envelope (1) with a window (5) present on the rear side (3), characterized in that it has at least one surface area (2b) provided with adhesive on the outer surface (2a) of the front side (2).
SUBCLAIMS
1. Envelope according to claim, characterized in that the adhesive is a pressure-sensitive adhesive, and that the surface areas (2b) provided therewith are covered by a removable cover element (10).
