Abstract
Materials (e.g. pages of a book) are adhered together by melting a melt adhesive, adding to the melt metal particles, pref. ferritic iron or Al-base particles, coating the pages with the mixt. and compressing them together, applying electrical or acoustic energy to the metal particles to again melt the adhesive, and finally allowing it to cool. The energy may be applied in the form of a high frequency field extending perpendicular to the pages, and achieves melting of the glue without heating the pages. Method is also suitable for sticking furniture, plastic components etc.
Description
Dies erfolgt heute in Einzelschritten.

The present invention relates to a method for gluing at least two parts, in particular sheets or sheets, by means of a hot melt adhesive.
When gluing two parts, be it furniture parts, sheets, sheets and the like, one has so far been dependent on gluing one glue point after the other. It is therefore practically impossible to glue points that are on top of one another or next to one another, and in particular several sheets, possibly in the form of blocks, as can occur, for example, in photo albums, books, etc., entirely in one operation. Today this is done in individual steps.
The present invention aims to create a method which allows several gluing points to be glued to one another at the same time using hot-melt adhesive. The method according to the invention is characterized in that the hot melt adhesive is melted, metal particles are added to the melt, the parts to be bonded are coated with this hot melt adhesive and they are pressed together, the adhesive is melted by means of electrical or acoustic energy via the metal particles and then allowed to cool.
For gluing sheets of a photo album z. B.
the corresponding folded parts are coated with molten hot-melt adhesive to which metal particles, for example ferritic iron powder or particles based on aluminum, are mixed, and the individual layers are placed one on top of the other. Then the pile of sheets is brought into the correct position, clamped together by means of a press and a high-frequency field is generated that runs perpendicular to the sheets and penetrates the areas coated with glue and the glue. The continuous HF energy heats the metal particles in the glue and thus causes it to melt without its surroundings, in the present case the sheets of paper, being heated. When the melting temperature is reached, the energy source is switched off. You let the glued sheets cool down. The press is removed and the glued product is present.
This method can be used to glue any parts that can be glued, including long cards, plastic parts and the like. In principle, it is also possible to use sound energy instead of electrical energy.
