Zehn- bzw.

The invention relates to a device for dividing an angle and aims to create a drawing device with which it is possible in a simple manner, without numerical calculations, in conjunction with a predetermined auxiliary angle table, to divide any angle with an accuracy sufficient for practice to divide five or seven equal angles.
Such a task is particularly common when surveying land and also when making construction drawings. To achieve this object, the device according to the invention is characterized in that it has at least one drawing template which has a base edge and at least one side edge enclosing an angle of 45 "with this base edge, that for the purpose of dividing a predetermined angle into three, five or seven equal parts at least one angular range is provided for marking at least one specific angle lying within this range and this angular range, based on the base edge,
in the case of an angular division into three, the angles 22.50 to 25, in the case of an angular division the angles 29.50 to 33 "and in the case of an angular screen division the angles 33.25 to 36.5.
By means of such a drawing template, it is possible to make the desired division by simply drawing lines, taking into account an auxiliary angle that is dependent on the size of the angle to be divided and can be taken from a table, the table for the required auxiliary angle preferably on the drawing template or on is applied to the drawing stencils.
The drawing template can consist of a simple drawing triangle, in which at least one of the mentioned predetermined angular areas is attached in the form of an opening. On the other hand, the drawing stencil can also have a customary angular division and be provided with a rotatable drawing arm which is rotatably mounted at the origin of the angular division and can be snapped into place on the drawing stencil within at least one of the aforementioned angular ranges, with latching points being provided in 0.25 "steps could be.
The drawing stencil or the drawing stencils are preferably made of a transparent material.
In order to additionally enable an angle to be divided into four or eight equal angles, an angle range comprising angles 26.5 to 29.5 can also be provided on the drawing template or on the drawing templates.
The invention is explained in more detail with reference to the drawings using three exemplary embodiments. Show it:
Fig. 1 shows a first embodiment in the form of a triangle,
2 shows a second exemplary embodiment in which the device according to the invention comprises a set of character triangles,
3 shows a plan view of a third embodiment with an angle division and a rotatable drawing arm,
4 shows a section along the line IV-IV according to FIGS. 3 and
5 is a sketch illustrating the use of the device according to the invention.
The drawing triangle 1 shown in FIG. 1 is a right-angled triangle with a base edge 2, the two lateral angles of 45 "each and the upper right angle. This triangle is used to divide any angle into three.
For this purpose, an opening 4 is provided in the drawing triangle 1, the boundary edges 6 of which run through the corner of the triangle marked 3 and define an angular range relative to the base edge 2, which includes the angles 22.5 to 25 relative to the base edge 2. The boundary edge of the opening 4 facing the base edge 2 defines the minimum critical angle of 22.5, while the other boundary edge defines the maximum critical angle of 25. An angular graduation 5 indicating the angular values of the relevant angular range is applied to the edge of the opening 4 connecting the two delimiting edges.
The opening 4 does not extend all the way to the corner 3 of the drawing triangle 1, rather the extensions of the delimiting edges 6 of the opening 4 up to the point 3 are marked by lines 6 'applied to the transparent drawing triangle.
The drawing triangle according to FIG. 1 can also have an opening defining the angular range from 29.50 to 33 or the angular range from 33.25 to 36.5, which is then used to divide any angle into five or seven, as will be discussed later is described.
Of course, the drawing triangle 1 according to FIG. 1 can also have two of the mentioned openings or all three mentioned openings, so that it can optionally be used for three, five or seven division of an angle.
In the example according to FIG. 2, the device according to the invention consists of a set of drawing triangles 7, the side edges 8 or 9 of which, opposite the 450 angle, enclose with the respective base edge 2 an angle at corner 3 that gradually increases from drawing triangle to drawing triangle. In Fig. 2, only two triangles of a set of triangles intended for trisection of any angle are shown, one above the other, namely the triangle with the minimum critical angle 22.5 at corner 3, which has the side edge 8, and the triangle with the maximum critical angle of 25 at corner 3, which has the side edge 9.
The set of character triangles preferably comprises eleven different character triangles in which the angle at corner 3 differs by 0.25 in each case.
Identical sets of character triangles can of course also be provided for the purpose of dividing an angle into five or seven, in which case one set of triangles with angles from 29.50 to 33 and the other set of triangles with angles from 33.25 to 36.50, each at the corner 3 according to FIG. 2.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4, the drawing template consists of a right-angled drawing triangle 10 having a semicircular opening 20, a protractor 11 attached to this drawing triangle and overlapping the opening 20 with an angular division 15 over 1800 and one around the center 12 of the protractor 11 rotatable drawing arm 16. The protractor 11 has a central opening 14 and an arc-shaped opening 13 running concentrically to the center 12.
The drawing arm 16 is composed of an inner section 16a and an outer section 16b. The inner section 16a of the drawing arm 16 is arranged in the opening 20 of the drawing triangle 10, hinged by means of a pin in the center 12 of the protractor 11, i.e. at the origin of the angular graduation 15, and rests on the underside of the protractor 11. The outer section 16b of the drawing arm 16 rests on the protractor 11 and the drawing triangle 10, overlaps the inner section 16a and is attached to this at a distance, for example with the aid of rivets 21 protruding freely through the opening 14 of the drawing triangle 11, in such a way that that the arcuate edge area of the protractor 11 lies between the inner and outer sections 16a and 16b of the drawing arm 16 (FIG. 4).
The overlapping sections of the drawing arm 16 that enclose the protractor 11 between them are penetrated by a screw bolt 19 protruding through the arcuate opening 13 of the protractor 11 and displaceable along it, the profile head 19a of which is sunk into a recess 10a on the underside of the drawing triangle 10; as a result, the screw bolt 19 is secured against rotation. A knurled nut 18 is screwed onto the upper end of the screw bolt 13, with the aid of which the drawing arm 16 can be fixed in a certain angular position.
The outer section 16b of the character arm 16 is step-shaped at the inner end on its underside, the recess formed by this step being adapted to the thickness of the character triangle 11. Furthermore, the outer section 16b of the drawing arm 16 is shaped and designed in such a way that the area of the drawing arm 16 protruding above the drawing triangle 11 rests on the drawing plane and has a drawing edge 17, the extension of which goes through the center 12 of the protractor 11 and the leg of the to be marked Defined angle.
Along the guide path of the drawing arm 16 defined by the circular arc-shaped opening 13, latching areas 15a, 15b and 15c, indicated only schematically in FIG. 3, are provided, which correspond to the three angular areas already mentioned for the purpose of trisection, five-division and seven-division of an angle. In this way, the rotatable drawing arm 16 can be locked into one of these angular ranges, which facilitates handling, and then set to a certain selected angle within this angular range and fixed by means of the knurled nut 18.
All parts of the device according to FIG. 3 are made of transparent material.
The use of the device according to the invention is explained with reference to FIG. To divide any angle a less than 180, the same lines MA and MB are first plotted on the two legs of this angle from the origin M, then the right-angled isosceles triangle AEB is established over the connecting line AB as a basis using the 45 -angle of the drawing template and finally at point A a straight line intersecting the opposite side of the right-angled triangle at point D is drawn, which with the base line AB of the right-angled triangle includes a certain auxiliary angle b to be selected. The size of this auxiliary angle b depends on the one hand on whether a three, five or seven division of the angle a is to be made, and on the other hand on the size of the angle a.
The table of the required auxiliary angles is given at the end of the description. The angle table or the angle tables are advantageously printed or applied on the drawing template according to the invention.
In the example according to FIG. 5, an angle α of 25 is to be divided into three equal angles. In this case, the auxiliary angle b according to the table mentioned is 24.50. The point of intersection D then defines the angle a / 3 between the legs MB and MD. To complete the three-part division, it is sufficient either to apply the same angle b to corner B of the isosceles triangle, which results in the intersection point C, or to simply halve the angle between the legs MD and MA in a known manner.
If the angle a is to be divided into five angles, the auxiliary angle b is selected according to the table mentioned, and the resulting intersection point D or C defines the angle 2a / 5 between the legs MB and MD or between the legs MC and MA. These two angles with the size 2a / 5 obtained in this way must then be halved in a known manner in order to complete the five-part division.
If an angle a is to be divided into seven equal angles, then the auxiliary angle b is to be selected according to the table mentioned, and the corresponding intersection points D and C then define the angle 3a / 7 between the legs MB and MD and the legs MC and MA. Then the division procedure described for the three-part division is to be used for the two angles 3a / 7 in order to complete the seven-part division.
The angle division can also be simplified using a compass: one simply constructs the intersection point C or D with the help of the relevant auxiliary angle b, where the line MC or MD with the bisector of the angle a in the case of a three-dimensional division the angle a / 6, in the case of a five-division the angle a / 10 and in the case of a seven-division the angle a / 14.
This distance is then taken into the dividing line in order to complete the angular division, with a sixth, tenth or fourteen division of the angle a being obtained, if necessary.
In order to get the base AB of the right triangle (Fig. 5), you can first construct the bisector ME of the angle a and then simply draw a straight line perpendicular to this bisector, which intersects the legs of the angle a at points A and B. .
If the angle to be divided is greater than 180, for example the angle marked a 'in FIG. 5 is to be divided, which in the exemplary embodiment under consideration is 335 ", then the bisector of this angle a' is first constructed and the division process described is carried out accordingly for the angle a '/ 2. For this purpose, for example, one first draws a circle around the origin M, which intersects one leg of the angle a' at point A ', then constructs the bisector of the angle a', which forms the circle in Points B 'intersects, and then sets up the right-angled isosceles triangle A'E'B' on the connecting line A'B '.
Now draw a straight line from the corner point A 'of this right-angled triangle at the auxiliary angle b' which intersects the opposite side of the triangle at point D '.
The auxiliary angle b 'can again be found in the mentioned auxiliary angle table and, if the angle a' is divided into three, which in the example under consideration has the value 3350, is b '= 23.75. The point of intersection D 'or the point of intersection D "of the extended straight line MD' with the circle defines the angle a '/ 3 between the straight lines MA' and MD"; by halving the angle 2a '/ 3 between the straight line MD "and the other leg MA" of the angle a', the intersection point C "with the circle is obtained, which completes the three-part division of the angle a '.
For a five-division or a seven-division of an angle a ', the auxiliary angles to be taken from the table mentioned are to be used, whereby the steps already described for a five-division or a seven-division are to be applied to half the angle of a'.
The following tables list the auxiliary angles b for any angle a less than 180 and the auxiliary angles b 'for any angle a' greater than 180, whereby for these angles a ', which, as mentioned, must first be halved, only the angle values a '/ 2 are given. The auxiliary angles b 'to be applied to the angles a' / 2 (where a 'is greater than 180) are identical to the auxiliary angles b for the division of an angle a which is between 90 and 180.
If, for example, an angle = 47 "is to be divided into five equal angles, then according to the corresponding table the auxiliary angle b = 30.75. If an angle a '= 315" is to be divided into seven equal angles, then one first halves this angle and takes from the corresponding table that the auxiliary angle b '= 33.50 belongs to half the angle a' / 2 = 157.5.
As can be seen from the tables, auxiliary angle values, which are to be selected in the smallest steps of 0.25, are sufficient in order to obtain an angle division that is sufficiently accurate in practice. For this reason, for example, the drawing triangle according to FIG. 1 can also be arranged in a fan-shaped manner, discrete broken lines or lines instead of a recess 4.
Contain linear incisions whose angles relative to the base edge 2 correspond to the angles specified in the auxiliary angle tables. For an angular division into three, eleven linear openings are then provided, the angles of which differ by 0.25 in each case relative to the base edge. For an angular division into five or seven, according to the associated tables, groups having fourteen or twelve linear perforations are provided with the corresponding angular spacings.
In the same way, in the embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4, the drawing arm 16 can be at eleven or fourteen or
twelve discrete locking points can be resiliently fixed, each of which corresponds to the three groups of auxiliary angles for the three or
Correspond to five or seven division. Such a, for example resilient, detent can easily be provided if the radius of the circular arc-shaped recess 13 according to FIG. 3 is sufficiently large.
In order to be able to divide an angle into four or eight with the device according to the invention, the drawing stencil can also have a further predetermined angle range which, in particular, defines an auxiliary angle of 26.5 through linear perforations or through locking points for the drawing arm to 29.5. With these auxiliary angles, an angle can be divided into four or eight according to the division method described.
The maximum auxiliary angle of 29.50 is used for four or four
Eight division of an angle of 16 (smaller angles are practically of no interest), and is identical to the minimum auxiliary angle for the five division; for the four or eight division of an angle of 90 or approximately 180, the auxiliary angle is 26.5 or 28.75. The tables already mentioned for the auxiliary angles b and b 'are given below. The angular degrees correspond to the conventional angular division, in which the right angle = 90.
