Abstract

Appts. for the continuous sepn. of foams, e.g. produced from fermentation processes, into their liq. and gaseous components, is as disclosed in the parent patent. It has a housing mounted above an opening at the upper part of the fermentation vessel and is now provided with upper and lower bearings. Enables the basic principle utilised in the parent design to be extended to form separators of any size fitted to fermenters of any size, since two bearings are provided instead of only one.
