Abstract

A device for bathing a new born baby, which allows the baby to be washed with the water covering his head, and which avoids using the arms to support his head, consists of a flexible sheet (4) with a hooked member (5, 6) each end, so that it can be suspended inside a vessel (1) which is shaped to receive the hooked members. The vessel has a raised end over which one hook is placed, and has a recess (2) at the rear with an upwardly projecting part to receive the other hook.
