In verschiedenen Anwendungsfällen, z.

The invention relates to a machine for cutting through and simultaneously pulling in pipes, with which pipes of different diameters are to be cut through and drawn in. In various applications, e.g. B. with tube radiators, plug connections should be made with the cut tubes. This is difficult when the pipe ends have the same outside diameter as the other sections of the pipe.
Such machines are generally designed in such a way that deformation of the pipe ends when cutting through is avoided as much as possible.
The invention is based on the object of designing a machine for cutting through pipes in such a way that a conical deformation of the cut-off pipe end can be achieved in a controllable manner when it is cut through.
For this purpose, in a machine for cutting through and simultaneously pulling in pipes according to the invention, a cutting wheel is provided, the feed speed of which is controlled before and during the cutting through of at least one pipe.
A preferred structural embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the cutting wheel is mounted on one end of a rocker and that a drivable control cam communicates a controlled pivoting movement of the rocker for cutting through.
With an expedient embodiment of the machine according to the invention, a conical deformation, which is generally regarded as disadvantageous, can be achieved in a controlled and adjustable manner, so that the pipes cut with the machine are particularly suitable for producing a plug-in connection such as that used e.g. for the manufacture of tubular radiators is required, can be.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to schematic drawings of an exemplary embodiment.
Show it:
Fig. 1 is a partially sectioned side view of a machine according to the invention;
Figure 2 is a plan view of the machine of Figure 1;
3 is a partial view from the front of the machine according to FIGS.
1 and 2 and
4 shows a pipe cut through with a machine according to FIGS. 1-3 in the assembly position for producing a plug-in connection with plug-in openings in collectors of a tubular radiator.
The machine shown for cutting through and simultaneously pulling in pipes comprises a stationary frame 1 in which a support column 2 can be adjusted vertically in the direction of arrow A by means of a manually operated screw wheel 3.
At the upper end of the support column 2, a rocker 5 is pivotably mounted in the pivot point 4. The rocker 5 has two ends 6 and 7. A drivable cutting wheel 8 is mounted on one end 6, while a roller 10 is mounted on the other end 7.
The other end 7 of the rocker 5 is held via the roller 10 by means of a spring 11 against a control cam 12 which has two mirror-image sections 13, 14 and latching depressions 15 for the roller 10 lying opposite each other. The control cam 12 is seated on a rotatable shaft 16 which can be driven by a continuously running motor 19 via a magnetic coupling 17 and a transmission 18.
On the free end of the shaft 16 there is a control disk 20 with control projections 21, 22 arranged diagonally opposite each other, which can interact with a toggle switch 23 for switching a circuit for actuating the magnetic coupling 17.
The cutting wheel 8 is arranged above a roller holder designated overall by the reference numeral 25. On this roller holder 25, slightly offset from the plane of the cutting wheel 8 (FIG. 3), rollers 26 are mounted on ball bearings. The middle roller is arranged somewhat recessed in relation to the two outer rollers 26. The distance between the rollers 26 is selected so that two tubes 27 and 28 can be supported between them at a distance from one another and in parallel. The tubes are also supported with their free ends in a bracket 29 which can be moved on a rail 30 parallel to the longitudinal axis of the tubes 26. Stop contacts for the free ends of the pipes 27, 28 to be cut are provided on the console at 31.
On the other side of the rollers 26, the pipes to be cut through are supported in a pipe guide 32. The arrangement can be adjusted by moving the bracket 29 on the rail 30 to different pipe lengths to be cut and by replacing the pipe guide 32 and the bracket 29 with parts with different through-holes for the pipes and the adjustability of the support column to different pipe diameters. This means that pipes with different diameters can be cut through to different lengths.
The machine described works as follows:
The cutting wheel 8 rotates continuously driven by a motor 35 fixed to the vertically adjustable support column 2 via a belt drive 36 and a gear 37. In the rest position of the rocker 5, that is, in a position in which the roller 10 at the rocker end 7 is pressed into the locking recess of the control cam 12 by the spring 11, the cutting wheel 8 is above at a distance from the two tubes 27, 28 to be cut through which, viewed from the left in FIG. 3, are guided through the pipe guide 32 via the rollers 26 into the console 29 against the stop bars 31. When the free ends of the tubes 27, 28 to be cut come into contact with the stop contacts 31, the magnetic coupling 17 is engaged. As a result, the control cam 12 is set in rotation.
As a result, the roller 10 extends out of the locking recess 15 and runs over the circumference of the one cam section 13 or 14. The cam sections are designed so that they lift the rocker with its free end 7 from its base in a controlled manner and consequently the end that has the cutting wheel 8 lower with a controlled feed rate against the circumference of the pipes 27, 28 to be cut.
As soon as the cutting edge 9 of the cutting wheel 8 comes into contact with the circumferences of the pipes to be cut, these begin to turn under the driving action of the cutting wheel. Due to the geometry of the cam sections 13 or 14, the cutting wheel is now further lowered in a controlled manner to cut through the pipes. In this case, the tubes are given a predeterminable conicity at the intersection 38 (FIG. 3).
As soon as the control cam 12 has made half a turn, the roller 10 engages again in the locking recess 15 and the motor 19 is switched off by actuating the toggle switch 23 by means of the control disk 20.
4 shows a tube 40 cut off on both sides with the machine described, which is consequently conical at both ends. The tube is intended to be used for a tubular radiator.
For this purpose, collectors 41, 42 are pressed against the tube ends from both sides of the tube in the direction of its longitudinal axis by means of a press (not shown) in the direction of arrow B, C so that openings 43, 44 located in the collectors are aligned with their axes on the tube axis or axes . The openings 43, 44 are dimensioned such that they can form an interference fit or an interference fit with the tubes 40. Of course, all the tubes of a tubular radiator are connected to the collectors in the manner described during production in one operation.
With the machine described through cut samples have shown that the achievable conicity by correct
Selecting the parameters within narrow limits remains the same, that a burr-free tapping is obtained and that no post-treatment of the pipe ends is required.
