Fig. 4 einen Querschnitt durch ein drittes Ausführungsbeispiel.
The invention relates to an adjustment device for rotatable guide vanes of turbo machines, the housings of which are subject to steep temperature changes, in particular of gas turbines.
The difficulty with such adjustment devices is that, on the one hand, they have to be connected to the highly heated guide vanes and the turbo housing, but on the other hand, they should be easily accessible for monitoring from the outside in order to be able to control their effect at any time and to be able to carry out any necessary overhaul work. They are thus influenced from the inside with high temperatures and from the outside only with much lower temperatures.
In particular with high loads, high temperature differences arise, which cause different temperature expansions of the individual parts. In addition, these temperature changes can occur very quickly. Another difficulty is that the temperatures of such adjustment devices - especially in gas turbines - are so high that it is hardly possible to obtain sufficient reliable lubricants for the moving parts. It results from the fact that with such adjustment devices during operation under load on the inner parts a very high temperature (of about 300-600 ° C) cannot be prevented, while on the outside, because of the joints, one is forced to maintain much lower temperatures .
Previously known devices could not satisfactorily solve the problems arising from the circumstances described, because in particular the parts of the adjustment device were subject to so great different temperature expansions in terms of location and time that precise setting of the guide vanes was not possible.
To remedy this, the invention proposes a shape for the adjusting device, which is characterized in that the shafts of the guide vanes are rotatably mounted in bearings of a vane carrier, that each shaft is in operative connection outside the machine housing via a connecting gear with an adjusting ring centrally surrounding the housing, that the adjusting ring rests on a bearing ring that is radially flexible at a distance from the housing and that is centrally supported on the same, and that finally an insulating element is arranged between the bearing ring and the housing, which shields at least the bearing ring and the adjusting ring against radiation from the housing.
The connecting gears are also expediently arranged outside the insulating ring in such a way that they are against the
Radiation of the housing are shielded. It is advisable to expose both the bearing ring and the adjusting ring and the connecting gear to the cooling effect of the ambient air.
The bearing ring can, for. B. be supported centrally expandable on the machine housing by means of radially positioned bushes and bolts slidably arranged therein. For the radial position tion of the adjusting ring on the bearing ring rotating rollers can be used on axially positioned bolts, the bolts being held axially in one of the rings, while the
Rolling over a cylindrical, coaxial to the machine axis
Roll the path of the other ring. Furthermore, for the axial
Storage between adjusting ring and bearing ring be arranged on radially positioned bolts rotating rollers, the
Bolts are held radially in one of the rings, while the
Roll over a flat path of the other ring perpendicular to the machine axis.
The bearing ring can also be supported in a radially flexible manner on the machine housing by means of tabs arranged in the deflection direction, for which purpose the tabs at one end with the bearing ring and at the other end with the housing
Joints are connected. The brackets can be connected to the bearing ring at one end and to the housing at the other end by means of axially positioned hinge pins.
Furthermore, the bearing ring can also be supported centrally on the machine housing by means of a ring which is radially resiliently acting due to its shape.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to three exemplary embodiments shown in the drawing.
Fig. 1 shows a detail from the longitudinal section of a first embodiment,
FIG. 2 shows a cross section along the line II-II of FIG. 1, on a reduced scale,
Fig. 3 shows a corresponding cross section through a second embodiment and
4 shows a cross section through a third embodiment.
The housing 1 of the turbo machine according to FIGS. 1 and 2 also contains a ring of guide blades 2 as a blade carrier, which guide the propellant gases flowing in the direction of arrow 3 in a suitable direction onto a blade ring, not shown. The blades 2 are rotatably mounted in the bearings 5 and 6 by means of a shaft 4, so that the direction of flow can be adjusted according to the respective load. For the uniform adjustment of all guide vanes 2 of the ring, an adjusting device is built on a reinforcing ring 7 of the housing 1, which mainly consists of an adjusting ring 8, a bearing ring 9, a push rod 10 and a rotary lever 11 for each guide vane and a number uniformly radial provided support bolt 12 with associated support sleeves 13 consists.
Between the bearing ring 9 and the housing 1, an annular insulating element 14 is also used, which z. B.
can be attached to the bearing ring 9 by means of a screw connection. The insulating element is covered with a suitable insulating material, e.g. B. glass wool or asbestos filled. The rings 8 and 9, and also the insulating element 14, are expediently divided in the circumference into two halves which are rigidly but detachably connected to one another. For smaller machines, one or more of the parts mentioned can be designed in one piece.
The adjusting ring 8 has a number of rollers 17, evenly distributed over the circumference, which serve for its radial bearing, are held by axially positioned bolts 18 and roll over the cylindrical path 19 of the bearing element 9. The axial guidance of the adjusting ring 8 takes place by the rollers 20, which are on the extension of the support bolt
12 can turn. The rollers have a diameter which is slightly smaller than the width of the groove 21 in the adjusting ring 8, so that only one or the other side surface of the groove is touched by the roller. With this mounting, the ring 8 can rotate around the machine axis without play, provided that the two rings 8 and 9 have approximately the same temperature and are not disturbed by the radial support on the much more heated housing.
The housing 1 and the reinforcing ring 7, as well as the support bushings 13, can have a temperature of 200-600 ° C. or above, depending on the type of gaseous or vaporous working medium that brushes the blades 2. Conversely, the adjusting ring 8, the bearing ring 9 and the push rods 10 with their joints 15 and 16 on both sides must be easily accessible from the outside and practically exposed to the open air. In addition, because of the moving connections, these parts must have a much lower tempera ture and, in addition, neither an inadmissible play nor an inadmissible play must be allowed between the sliding surfaces
Clamps arise.
The arrangement of the rings 8 and 9 outside the
Housing in the air surrounding the machine and through the radiation protection of the ring 14, a uniform, low temperature is ensured, as far as the mobility of the ring 8 and the connecting gear consisting of the joints 15 and 16 and the push rods 10 requires.
When the diameter of the rings 8 and 9 on the one hand and the booster ring 7 in the housing on the other hand changes due to the different temperatures, the radially positioned bolts 12 slide in the likewise radially positioned support bushings 13 so that the axes of the two rings 8 and 9 remain unchanged in the machine axis . This prevents jamming on the one hand and excessive play between the parts of the adjusting device on the other hand.
To support the bearing ring 9 in the embodiment of FIG. 3 on the reinforcing ring 7 of the housing 1 is a number of tabs 22 distributed over the circumference, each on one side on bearing blocks 23 of the housing and on the other side on bearing blocks 24 of the bearing ring 9 are articulated by means of axially positioned bolts 25 and 26, respectively. The tabs thus enable the rings 7 and 9 to expand differently as a result of different temperatures by changing their inclination with respect to the rings; but still transmit the supporting forces between the two rings unchanged, so that the ring axes always remain in the machine axis in any temperature condition.
The bearing ring 9 in the embodiment according to FIG. 4 is supported on the reinforcement ring 7 of the housing 1 by means of a ring 30, which is radially resilient by shaping, on the reinforcement ring 7 of the housing 1. This ring 30 consists of three elastically acting partial rings 31, 32, 33, which are supported on one another offset by individual webs 34.
The ring is suitable if the temperature of the case never gets particularly high. The inner ring 31 will have approximately the same temperature as the reinforcing ring 7 and the outer ring 33 will have approximately the same temperature as the bearing ring 9, so that only differences in expansion between the two rings 31 and 33, but not between each individual ring 31 or 33 and the associated support ring 7 or 9 occur. The expansion difference existing between the rings 31 and 33 is absorbed by the elastic, zigzag-shaped bending of the middle ring 32 at the points of support by the webs 34. The elasticity of the individual rings then allows the bearing ring 9 to be held centrally on the reinforcing ring 7 in all operating states - without any great elastic tensioning effect.
The interspaces 35 between individual partial rings 31-33 act as an insulating element; for this purpose, they can also be filled with an insulating material, which inhibits both the thermal assembly and the thermal radiation.
The invention is particularly applicable to axial compressors, steam and gas turbines and also to exhaust gas turbines of internal combustion engines or boiler systems with pressure firing. As shown, the housing of the turbomachine itself can serve as the blade carrier. However, the invention can also be used in turbo machines which have a special blade carrier inside the housing. As a connecting gear between the blade shafts and the adjusting ring z. B. bevel gears with gears or cable transmissions are also used.
