Fig. 1 einen Längsschnitt durch eine Leitungsabzweigung mit dem für die Verbindung der Leitungen verwendeten Anschlusstück;
In a line system consisting of a main line and branch lines, the flow cross-sections should generally be matched to one another, which is why the branch lines are smaller in diameter than the main line and open perpendicularly or at an angle into the main line. The production of such a line branch requires complex processing of the material, especially if one line joins the other at an angle, whereby an elliptical hole corresponding to the end cross-section of the converging pipeline, which runs obliquely to the axis, must be cut out in the pipeline with a larger diameter In the case of pipes made of sheet metal, solder or weld work to connect the sheet metal parts.
Such a line branch can be prefabricated as a section of a line with the effort described, in order to be inserted into a line system on the construction site, on the other hand, the same task makes all the more difficult if branch lines that open at an angle are to be connected to an already laid main line.
The aim of the present invention is therefore to create a substantial simplification for the production of any type of branch line, while at the same time also solving the more difficult problem associated with the connection of a line to an already laid main line to be carried out on site shall be.
In order to achieve this, the connection piece for connecting a branch line to a main line is characterized according to the invention by a hose piece with an end flange running around the outside at one end in a plane inclined to its longitudinal axis, which has a circumferential groove with flexible walls which forms the edge area of a provided in the main line opening are intended to overlap on both sides and allow a rotation of the hose piece about the opening center in order to change the direction of the branch line connected to the other end of the hose piece. The end flange and the groove formed therein are preferably circular.
This has the advantage that in the case of an inclined line in a main line, i. H. the hole in the peripheral wall of the main line with the larger diameter can be circular and is therefore correspondingly easier to manufacture than a hole with an elliptical outline. The end flange of the connection piece, which is made of flexible material, can adapt to the curvature of the wall of a pipe with a larger diameter, so that the connection piece with the branch pipe connected to it can even be rotated by 360 in order to change the branching direction. The connection piece can also be used to connect a branch line to a duct with a rectangular cross section.
In the case of the hose piece, which is preferably made of plastic such as neoprene or rubber, the outer diameter of the outer groove wall is expediently larger than that of the inner groove wall, which makes it easier to insert the connection piece into the opening and also improves the seal at the connection point.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing. Show it:
1 shows a longitudinal section through a line branch with the connection piece used for connecting the lines;
FIG. 2 shows a view of the line branch according to FIG. 1 from above.
The connection piece 1 according to FIGS. 1 and 2 is used to connect a branch line 3 with a smaller diameter to a main line 2 with a larger diameter, the
The longitudinal axis of the line 3 extends at an angle smaller than 90 ° to the longitudinal axis of the line 2. The connector 1 consists of a hose piece 4 with one at its one
End in a plane inclined to its longitudinal axis on the outside circumferential end flange 5, which is integral with the hose piece. The end flange 5 has a circumferential groove 6 with flexible walls 7 and 8, of which the outer
Usable wall 8 is expediently larger in outer diameter than inner groove wall 7. This groove wall 8 rests on the inside against the edge area of the opening provided in line 2, the diameter D of which is slightly larger than the inner diameter of groove 6.
The connector consists of a flexible plastic material, which flexible material allows the flat end flange of the when not installed
Connection piece to the curvature of the cylindrical Oberflä surface of the line 2 adapts. This adaptation to the curved
Circumferential surface is of course only possible from a certain line diameter, taking advantage of the particular ren advantage of the new connector that only one circular opening has to be provided in the line 2, while so far with an inclined opening
Branch line had to create an elliptical opening in the main line. The connection piece can also be used to connect a branch line to a branch line which is rectangular in cross section
Serve channel.
If there is a
Extraction or compressed air system secondary connections for example, additionally set up machines are to be made, the particular advantage is obvious that only circular openings have to be provided in the main line into which connectors are to be used.
With the described advantage of the circular opening, the further essential advantage is that the
The connection piece can be rotated around the center of the opening, whereby the branching direction of the branch line connected to a main line can be changed at any time and at will. As indicated by arrows in FIG. 2, this can
Connection piece in the direction of the arrow in one or the other direction of rotation are rotated 360 around the center of the opening in the line 2. This proves to be a decisive advantage when converting or installing the
Facilities or machines connected to the line system.
