la fig. 1 est une vue illustrant trois éléments de la première forme d'exécution montés sur un échalas;
la fig. 2 est une vue en plan de la première forme d'exécution;
la fig. 3 est une vue en plan de la deuxième forme d'exécution;

The present invention relates to an attachment element for the vine, composed of at least one ring of generally circular shape.
In general, until now, the winegrower who cultivates the vine known as the goblet system, that is to say the one with a very short stalk, had to, three times in the season, as the growth of the branches, manually tie them around the stile.
A relatively expensive means is also known, intended to be fixed in the spring on the stile and to be recovered, given its price, during the pruning of the vine. This last method is practically abandoned given its price and the difficulties there is in recovering it.
The object of the invention is to facilitate the work of the vineyard by streamlining operations, said elements, at a minimal cost, being intended to be placed along the stakes, in a single operation, in the spring, and to be thrown when pruning. As the branches grow, they then get caught inside said rings and are held by them, which largely prevents the breakage of young shoots due to the wind.
Preferably, said elements are made of inexpensive and non-recoverable plastic, so as to reduce handling.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, three embodiments of the element, object of the invention:
fig. 1 is a view illustrating three elements of the first embodiment mounted on a prop;
fig. 2 is a plan view of the first embodiment;
fig. 3 is a plan view of the second embodiment;
fig. 4 is a perspective view of the third embodiment.
Fig. 1 shows a goblet system vine plant with short c vines; the branches 2 are kept in good position by the elements 3, 4 and 5 fixed at the desired height along the strut by the elastically deformable part of the core 8 (fig. 2, 3 and 4). The element shown comprises a ring 6 of generally circular shape. In the first and third embodiments, it is circular. In the second embodiment shown in FIG. 3, it has the shape of a four-leaf clover, said ring 6 is connected to a core 8 by means of four arms 7.
In other embodiments, the number of arms could be two or three. The core 8 has a central opening 9 in the form of a four-pointed star. The parts 11 of the core are liable to bend elastically when the element is threaded onto the strut so as to maintain it at the desired height.
So that these parts 11 can be deformed, the element is made of a material which is somewhat elastic or which can be elastically deformed, known in the trade under the name of plastic.
The star-shaped opening 9 could, in other embodiments, have five or six or more branches.
The thickness of the core can be, depending on the embodiment, constant, or thicker towards the edge 12 than towards the deformable parts 11.
The third embodiment shown in FIG. 4 is made up of three rings 6 whose diameter varies between 10 and 35 cm, the smallest being at the top of the stile, the largest at the bottom; only the upper ring has the arms 7 and the central core 8,
The middle ring being held to the upper ring by ropes 10. The lower ring is held to the middle ring by the ropes 10 and also has the arms 7 which link it to the core 8.
Another embodiment could consist of two rings only instead of the three shown in FIG. 4.
