La présente invention a pour objet une montre-bracelet dont le bracelet en une pièce et d'épaisseur au moins approximativement uniforme présente une ouverture à travers laquelle la montre est fixée au bracelet.
On connaît déjà de telles montres-bracelets. Dans cellesci le bracelet est fixé par pincement entre une partie de la boîte et une pièce de fixation vissée ou fixée à cran sur la boîte, soit par-dessus ou par-dessous. Ces modes de fixation nécessitent un usinage spécial de la boîte. En outre, lors de l'enlèvement du bracelet, la pièce de fixation, indépendante, risque d'échapper aux mains de l'utilisateur déjà occupé à tenir le bracelet et la montre.
On a déjà proposé de fixer une boîte de montre dans un bracelet en une pièce en matière synthétique présentant une surépaisseur dans laquelle est formé un logement annulaire dans lequel est fixée la boîte. Cette surépaisseur est de préférence armée par une pièce métallique dans laquelle vient se fixer la boîte. Une telle solution ne donne pas à la montrebracelet un aspect léger et plat, mais au contraire un aspect massif et lourd. Or, le but de la présente invention est précisément de donner l'illusion d'une montre extra-plate dont la boîte est pratiquement invisible.
La montre-bracelet selon l'invention ne nécessite pas d'usinage spécial de la boîte et ne fait pas intervenir de pièce de fixation indépendante. Elle est caractérisée par le fait que l'ouverture du bracelet est renforcée par une bague métallique venant se fixer sur le pourtour de la glace, et dont l épaisseur est au moins approximativement égale à l'épaisseur du bracelet.
Lorsque la montre-bracelet est portée, seul apparaît le cadran dans le bracelet d'épaisseur uniforme, ce qui crée l'illusion d'une boîte particulièrement mince. Le cadran apparait par exemple entouré d'un cercle métallique, de préférence étroit, ce qui permet d'obtenir un aspect léger, original et élégant.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'invention.

Dans la forme d'exécution représentée, le bracelet 1, qui présente une ouverture circulaire 2 dans sa partie médiane, est utilisé en combinaison avec une montre à boîte monocoque 3 munie d'une glace 4 fixée par une bague de tension 5. L'ouverture du bracelet est renforcée par une bague métallique 6 fixée par sertissage et dans laquelle on a formé par le haut une saillie de crantage 6a. Cette saillie 6a coopère avec une gorge périphérique 4a de la glace 4, la bague 6 s'engageant dans la gorge 4a par simple pression sur le bracelet.
La fixation du bracelet à la montre est instantanée. Un changement de bracelet peut s'effectuer en un tournemain.
La bague 6 peut être visible ou cachée. Elle peut être colorée d'une couleur différente de celle du bracelet ou de la même couleur. Des effets esthétiques variés peuvent être obtenus de cette manière. Notamment toute partie métallique de la montre peut être cachée, à l'exception du cadran.
La montre étant disposée sous le bracelet est en outre maintenue sur le poignet par la tension du bracelet et ne risque en aucun cas de s'échapper du bracelet.
La fixation à cran de la bague de renforcement à la glace n'est bien entendu qu'un mode de fixation parmi d'autres. La bague pourrait être également fixée à la manière d'un écrou sur le pourtour de la glace munie d'une gorge hélicoïdale. fl serait également possible de fixer la bague à la glace par un système à baïonnette.
REVENDICATION
Montre-bracelet dont le bracelet en une pièce et d'épaisseur au moins approximativement uniforme présente une ouverture à travers laquelle la montre est fixée au bracelet, caractérisée par le fait que l'ouverture du bracelet est renforcée par une bague métallique venant se fixer sur le pourtour de la glace et dont l'épaisseur est au moins approximativement égale à l'épaisseur du bracelet.

Such wristwatches are already known. In these, the bracelet is fixed by clamping between a part of the case and a fastening part screwed or fixed to the case on the case, either above or below. These fixing methods require special machining of the box. In addition, when the bracelet is removed, the independent fastener risks escaping the hands of the user who is already busy holding the bracelet and the watch.
It has already been proposed to fix a watch case in a one-piece bracelet made of synthetic material having an extra thickness in which an annular housing is formed in which the case is fixed. This extra thickness is preferably reinforced by a metal part in which the box is fixed. Such a solution does not give the wristwatch a light and flat appearance, but on the contrary a massive and heavy appearance. However, the aim of the present invention is precisely to give the illusion of an extra-thin watch whose case is practically invisible.
The wristwatch according to the invention does not require special machining of the case and does not involve any independent fastening part. It is characterized by the fact that the opening of the bracelet is reinforced by a metal ring which is fixed on the periphery of the crystal, and whose thickness is at least approximately equal to the thickness of the bracelet.
When the wristwatch is worn, only the dial appears in the bracelet of uniform thickness, which creates the illusion of a particularly thin case. The dial appears for example surrounded by a metallic circle, preferably narrow, which makes it possible to obtain a light, original and elegant appearance.

In the embodiment shown, the bracelet 1, which has a circular opening 2 in its middle part, is used in combination with a watch with a monocoque case 3 provided with a crystal 4 fixed by a tension ring 5. The opening of the bracelet is reinforced by a metal ring 6 fixed by crimping and in which a notching projection 6a has been formed from above. This projection 6a cooperates with a peripheral groove 4a of the crystal 4, the ring 6 engaging in the groove 4a by simple pressure on the bracelet.
Attachment of the strap to the watch is instantaneous. A strap change can be done in a jiffy.
Ring 6 can be visible or hidden. It can be colored a different color from that of the bracelet or the same color. Various aesthetic effects can be achieved in this way. In particular, any metal part of the watch can be hidden, with the exception of the dial.
The watch being placed under the bracelet is also held on the wrist by the tension of the bracelet and in no case risks escaping from the bracelet.
The notch fixing of the reinforcing ring to the lens is of course only one method of fixing among others. The ring could also be fixed in the manner of a nut on the periphery of the lens provided with a helical groove. It would also be possible to fix the ring to the crystal by a bayonet system.
CLAIM
Wristwatch whose bracelet in one piece and of at least approximately uniform thickness has an opening through which the watch is fixed to the bracelet, characterized in that the opening of the bracelet is reinforced by a metal ring which is fixed on the perimeter of the crystal and the thickness of which is at least approximately equal to the thickness of the bracelet.
