Überraschenderweise wurde nun gefunden, dass die Ver bindungen der Formel 1 sich neben allgemein karizider Wir- kung durch eine besonders starke Wirkung gegen die Reisstengelbohrer auszeichnen.
Zu den erfindungsgemäss zu bekämpfenden Reisstengelbohrern zählen z. B. Chilo suppressalis, Chilo diffusilinea, Chilo portellus, Chilotrea auricilia, Chilotrea polychrysa, Tryporyza incertulas, Tryporyza innotata Sesamia inferens, Sesamia cretica, Sesamia calamistis usf. Ausser der abtötenden Wirkung haben die Verbindungen der Formel I auch eine Frass-Abschreckwirkung (Antifeeding Effekt). Besonders vorteilhaft ist auch ihre systemische Wirkung.
Die Wirkstoffe der Formel I werden zusammen mit geeigneten Trägern und/oder Zuschlagstoffen eingesetzt.
Geeignete Träger und Zuschlagstoffe sind fest oder flüssig und entsprechen den in der Formulierungstechnik üblichen Stoffen, wie z. B. natürlichen oder regenerierten Stoffen, Lösungs-, Dispergier-, Netz-, Haft-. Verdickungs-, Bindeund/oder Düngemitteln. Ferner können noch weitere insektizid oder akarizid wirksame Verbindungen zugesetzt werden.
Solche biozide Verbindungen können z. B. der Klasse der Harnstoffe, der gesättigten und ungesättigten Halogenfettsäuren, Halogenkohlenwasserstoffe, Carbamate, Triazine, Nitroalkyl-phenole, org. Phosphorsäureverbindungen, quaternären Ammoniumsalze, Sulfaminsäuren, Arsenate, Arsenite, Borate oder Chlorate angehören.
Die Herstellung erfindungsgemässer Mittel erfolgt in an sich bekannter Weise durch inniges Vermischen und/oder Vermahlen von Wirkstoffen der Formel I mit den geeigneten Trägerstoffen, gegebenenfalls unter Zusatz von gegenüber den Wirkstoffen inerten Dispergier- oder Lösungsmitteln. Die Wirkstoffe können in den folgenden Aufarbeitungsformen vorliegen und angewendet werden: Feste Aufarbeitungsformen:
Stäubemittel, Streumittel, Granulate, Urnhüllungsgranulate, Imprägnierungsgranulate und Homogengranulate Flüssige Aufarbeitungsformen:
a) in Wasser dispergierbare Wirkstoffkonzentrate:
Spritzpulver (wettable powders), Pasten, Emulsionen; b) Lösungen
Der Gehalt an Wirkstoff in den oben beschriebenen Mitteln liegt im allgemeinen zwischen 0,1 und 95 Gew.%, dabei ist zu erwähnen, dass bei der Applikation aus dem Flugzeug oder mittels anderer geeigneter Applikationsgeräte Konzentrationen bis zu 99,5% eingesetzt werden.

Beispiel 2 Wirkung gegen Chilo suppressalis
Je 6 Reispflanzen der Sorte Caloro wurden in Plastiktöpfen, die einen oberen Durchmesser von 17 cm aufwiesen, verpflanzt und zu einer Höhe von etwa 60 cm aufgezogen.
Die Infestation mit Chilo suppressalis Larven (L1; 3 bis 4 mm lang) erfolgte 2 Tage nach der Wirkstoffzugabe in Granulatform (Aufwandmenge 8 kg Aktivsubstanz pro Hektare) in das Paddy-Wasser. Die Auswertung auf insektizide Wirkung erfolgt 10 Tage nach der Zugabe des Granulates. Die Verbindungen gemäss Beispiel 1 wirkten im obigen Test gegen Chilo suppressalis.
