The invention relates to a small DC motor with electronic components arranged on a circuit board, in particular for the fan of a hair dryer or a hair dryer comb.
Such a motor is held in a narrow tube, in which the electronic components for the power supply of the motor must also be accommodated.
Since the device belonging to the motor is to be operated with normal mains voltage, it is necessary to provide electronic components for rectification and for smoothing the pulsating direct current in the immediate vicinity of the motor. In addition, the components required for HF interference suppression, such as chokes and capacitors, must be available.
It is part of the state of the art to arrange all necessary electronic components on a carrier board and to connect them to one another in the form of a printed circuit and to accomplish the connection to the motor by soldering.
Since the installation space for the motor according to the invention is very restricted, it is very difficult to connect the circuit board and motor in such a way that the device has a sufficiently high level of operational reliability and is also insensitive to vibrations.
The present invention is therefore based on the object of specifying a small DC motor with electronic components arranged on a circuit board, in which a permanent and fault-free connection of the motor connections to the electronic components is ensured.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the circuit board has two output contacts which are designed in the form of a sleeve and which are plugged onto the input contacts of the motor.
This solution enables a safe construction both in mechanical and in electronic terms, so that no errors can occur after the device is shaken.
In an advantageous embodiment of the small motor according to the invention, the end position of the nested contacts is particularly secured by point soldering. It is also possible to use ultrasonic welding to secure the device.
The motor according to the invention also has the advantage that the assembly of the circuit board in the tube which also includes the motor is much easier to carry out and the time required has also been significantly reduced.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the engine according to the invention is shown schematically.
A motor 2, which is used to drive a fan 3, is held in a tube 1. Inside the tube 1, above the motor 2, a circuit board 4 is arranged, which carries all the electronic components required for powering the motor. In the drawing e.g. a rectifier 5 and a capacitor 6 can be seen. All electronic components are connected to one another in the manner of a printed circuit. Furthermore, two sleeves 7 and 8 are fitted into the circuit board 4, which extend into the space between the circuit board and the motor and encompass the two entry contacts (not visible) of the motor. In order to ensure a firm mechanical and good electrical connection between the sleeves 7 and 8 and the inlet contacts of the motor 2, the sleeves are soldered to the contacts.
