In eccentric presses and automatic punching machines, the connecting rod which controls the back and forth movement of the tool ram is rotatably mounted on an eccentric on the drive shaft. With each full rotation of the shaft, there is now a stroke corresponding to the size of the eccentricity.
But it is often desirable. to vary the lifting height within certain limits. This is possible with the device according to the invention, which is characterized by an eccentric ring with continuously increasing and decreasing radial thickness arranged between the eccentric of the eccentric shaft and the connecting rod, and by means to rotate the eccentric ring relative to the eccentric of the shaft.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the subject invention is shown and that shows
1 shows a cross section through a mounting of a connecting rod on the eccentric of a drive shaft and
1 and 3, viewed from the left front side, schematically, the mutual position of the axes of the rotary and eccentric bodies, namely in the two possible extreme positions.
The drive shaft 15 is mounted in the bushes 3 and 13 and has the eccentric 11 on which the eccentric ring 6 is rotatable on the one hand and the gear 9 is fixedly mounted via the wedge 10. In the T-shaped annular groove 13, which is concentric to the inner bore of the eccentric ring and which is arranged on the front side, the sliding blocks of the retaining screws 8 of the gear wheel 9 are located. The connecting rod 1 is rotatably seated on the eccentric ring via the bearing 2.
A denotes the axis of the drive shaft 15.
B is the axis of the eccentric 11 of the drive shaft 15, which simultaneously represents the axis of the inner bore of the Exzenterrin 6 and the axis of the gear 9. as
C is the axis of the eccentric outer circumference of the Exzen terrringes 6. which is equivalent to the axis of the
Connecting rod bearing 1.
The position of the various eccentrics shown in FIG. 2 corresponds to the position of the device in FIG. 1. The height of lift achieved during half rotation of the shaft corresponds to twice the size of the sum of the eccentric differences 4 and S between the axes A + B. resp. B and C.
Should the lifting height now be reduced. so the retaining screws 8 are loosened. so that a relative rotation between the gear 9 and the eccentric ring 6 is possible. This rotation can be controlled by turning the pinion 14, which is mounted in the eccentric ring 6. If the rotation is around 1800C. this gives the position of the eccentric bodies and axes according to FIG. 3, which at the same time means the lowest lifting height. The lifting height corresponds to twice the difference 5 minus 4 between axes B + C, respectively. A and B.
By turning it more or less hard, all lift heights between the maxima and minima can be adjusted, with half a turn of the drive shaft always serving as the basis. The setting can be made continuously by turning the pinion l. After the desired setting has been reached, the mutual position between the gear wheel 9 and the eccentric ring 6 is blocked by means of the retaining screws 8.
On the eccentric ring. whose eccentricity consists in the continuously increasing and decreasing radial thickness, a scale 7 is attached, on which the relative rotation to the gear 9 can be read. which corresponds to the lifting height to be set by calibration.
