Portionenpackung
Fig. 1 bis 4 verschiedene Herstellungsphasen einer in
Fig. 6 bis 9 verschiedene Herstellungsphasen einer in
Fig. 10 im fertigen Zustand perspektivisch dargestellten neuen Portionenpackung.
Fig. 7) bilden.
Portion pack
The invention relates to a portion pack with a rectangular packaging film folded around a cuboid block of paste-like packaging material, which has two opposing end tabs folded down on the upper side of the block and on the same lying sections of the film itself.
The known portion packs of this type, as will be explained in more detail later with reference to the drawing, have the disadvantage that, when removing the packaging film with the fingers, the contents of paste-like packaging material, e.g. Butter, margarine, soap or the like. Comes into contact, and as a result the fingers are smeared, which is often very unpleasant depending on the type and consistency of the goods. To avoid this disadvantage, the new portion pack is characterized by the fact that the two end tabs are folded down around the upper front edges of the block and lie on film sections that completely overlap the upper side of the block, the whole thing in such a way that simply by pulling the end tabs apart the said film sections can be pulled off the block.
Further advantages of the pack according to the invention will emerge from the following description of an exemplary embodiment. In the drawing show:
Fig. 1 to 4 different manufacturing phases of an in
5 in the finished state, shown in perspective, known portion packs, and
6 to 9 different manufacturing phases of an in
10 shows a new portion pack in the finished state, shown in perspective.
In Fig. 1, a cuboid block 1 corresponding to a predetermined portion to be packaged, e.g.
made of butter lying on a rectangular packaging film 2, e.g. can consist of laminated aluminum. The longitudinal center line 3 of the film 2 and the longitudinal center line 4 of the lower side 5 of the block 1 are perpendicular to one another, their crossing point
2 6 lies in the middle of both lines 3 and 4. Now, according to FIG. 2, first the film sections 7 protruding in the longitudinal direction of the film 2 over the lower side 5 are folded upwards around the lower longitudinal edges 8 until they rest against the longitudinal sides 9. Then the in the transverse direction of the film 2 over the lower side 5 protruding film sections 10 folded upwards around the lower end edges 11 until they come into contact with the end faces 12.
Four triangular parts 13 of the sections 10 are folded onto four adjacent, equally sized parts 14 of the sections 7, each forming a fold line 15 along the corresponding lateral front edge 16 and an inclined, free-standing fold line 17 in the plane of section 7. The over the Lateral fields 18 of the sections 7, together with the triangular parts 13, 14 lying on top of one another, are now folded over around these end edges 16 onto the end faces 12 already covered by the sections 10. As can be seen from FIG. 3, two opposing fields 18 each overlap.
4, the sections 20 of the fields 18 protruding over the upper end edges 19 are folded down around these upper end edges 19 onto the upper side 21 of the block 1, with triangular parts 22 of these sections 20 on adjacent triangular parts 23 of the same size Sections 7 are folded, each forming a fold line 24 along an upper longitudinal edge 25 of block 1 and an inclined, free-standing fold line 26 in the plane of section 7. The two over the upper longitudinal edges 25 protruding fields 27 of sections 7 together with the lying thereon Triangular parts 22 are finally folded down as closing flaps around these upper longitudinal edges 25 onto the upper side 21 or the portions 20 partially covering the same, these fields 27 overlapping one another.
The usual portion pack 28 shown in FIG. 5 is thus completely manufactured.
It is clear that the pasty mass forming the block 1 must have a sufficient consistency in order to carry out the packaging operations described. If the mass is too soft, the film must first be pre-folded around a mandrel, as far as can be seen from FIG. 3. A measured amount of the product to be packaged is then introduced into the pre-folded blank stripped from the mandrel. The upwardly protruding parts of the film are then applied to the upper side 21 of the block 1 as described and shown in FIGS. 4 and 5. If the block 1 is to be removed from the film 2 in order to use it, by performing the opposite operations to those for packaging, the temperature of the mass is usually so high that its consistency is relatively low.
Since the fingers come into contact with the mass when grasping and opening the lower of the two fields 27 and even more when grasping and opening the sections 20, something of the same always sticks to the fingers because of its low consistency, which is very uncomfortable . This disadvantage of the usual portion pack 28 is avoided in the portion pack 29 according to the invention shown in FIG. 10, the production of which will now be explained in more detail with reference to FIGS. 6 to 9.
The lower side 5 of the block 1 lies on a rectangular film 30, which is approximately the same size as the film 2, but its longitudinal center line 31 now coincides with the longitudinal center line 4 of the side 5. The centers of lines 4 and 31 coincide again at point 6. First, according to FIG. 7, the film sections 32 protruding in the longitudinal direction over the side 5 are folded upwards around the lower end edges 11 until they rest against the end faces 12. Then the film sections 33 are placed on the longitudinal sides 9. Here, four triangular parts 34 of the sections 33 are placed on four adjacent ones. equal parts 35 of the sections 32 are folded to form a fold line 36 each along the corresponding lateral front edge 16 and an inclined, free-standing fold line 37 in the plane of the section 32.
The lateral fields 38 of the sections 32 protruding beyond the lateral end edges 16 together with the triangular parts 34, 35 lying on top of one another are now folded around these end edges 16 onto the longitudinal sides 9 already covered by the sections 33. As can be seen from FIG. 8, two opposing fields 38 each overlap.
9 the sections 39 of the fields 38 protruding over the upper longitudinal edges 25 are now folded down onto the upper side 21 of the block 1, triangular parts 40 of these sections 39 being folded onto adjacent parts 41 of the sections 32 of equal size, and with Opposing parts 40 overlap, forming a fold line 42 each along an upper end edge 19 of the block 1 and an inclined, free-standing fold line 43 in the plane of the section 32.
In the pack shown, the film sections 33, after being placed against the longitudinal sides 9, extend somewhat beyond the upper longitudinal edges 25, so that when the sections 39 are folded down they also have narrow marginal strips 44 resting on the upper surface 21 (see FIG. 7). form. With certain dimensions of the block 1, this is necessary in order to ensure proper coverage of the contents of the package. As the value of the ratio H: L (height to length) increases, the film sections 33 no longer have to extend beyond the upper longitudinal edges 25, so that edge strips 44 no longer arise.
The two over the upper end edges 19 protruding fields 45 of the sections 32 together with the triangular parts 40 lying thereon are finally as closing tabs around these upper end edges 19 on the upper side or; the same completely covering portions 39 folded down, but they do not overlap.
If you want to expose the block 1, you can easily grasp the two end tabs 45 without coming into contact with the block itself. By pulling the end tabs 45 apart, the sections 39 are also released from the block 1 without having to be grasped with the fingers. The advantage of the new portion pack is that it can be opened easily without smearing your fingers.
It can be seen that this amazing advantage has essentially been achieved simply in that when the packaging film is placed on the block and during the folding process, the long sides and the front sides of the block have been reversed compared to the usual portion pack.
