Dispositif moteur rotatif
Rotary motor device
The present invention relates to a rotary motor device.
It makes it possible, for example, to use the heat transfer medium of a heating device or installation as a variable source of energy for driving rotating devices.
The device according to the invention comprises a low pressure vaporizer, a turbine, a low temperature condenser and a circulator connected together so as to form a closed circuit, the vaporizer being supplied by means of a heating agent, a driving fluid. which runs through the closed circuit, this driving fluid being vaporized by the heat coming from the heating agent so that this driving fluid, in the form of vapor, drives the turbine. This can be coupled to any device that it can thus drive, for example: a generator, a fan, a circulator, etc.
The heating agent which supplies the vaporizer can be constituted by the heat transfer fluid circulating in a heat generating system such as a central heating installation.
The low pressure vaporizer, the turbine and the low temperature condenser can form a single constructive unit.
The invention will appear more clearly on reading the description which follows, given with reference to the appended drawing which schematically illustrates an exemplary embodiment thereof.
In the accompanying drawing, we see a device 1 comprising the vaporizer 2, the turbine 3, the condenser 4 and the circulator 5. These components are connected to one another so as to form a closed circuit. The vaporizer 2 is also supplied by means of a heating agent coming from a heat source shown at 6 and constituted, for example, by a central heating installation. In vaporizer 2, a motor fluid which passes through the closed loop is vaporized by the heat imparted by the heating agent. If this circulates in tubes, the working fluid can circulate around them; if it is the motive fluid which circulates in tubes whose input is connected to the circulator 5 and the output to the turbine 3, the heating agent will circulate around said tubes.
The working fluid can be any fluid having a low boiling point and / or a high vapor pressure. The condenser 4, which operates at room temperature, condenses the steam so that the turbine 3 works by using both the pressure of the fluid in the vapor state and a vacuum created in the condenser. As is well known, the circulator ensures the proper circulation of the working fluid.
The power of the turbine can be easily adjusted by varying the temperature of the heating agent or the volume of said agent admitted into the vaporizer 2.
The advantage of this arrangement is that the output power is limited only by the heat available in the heating medium and by the efficiency of the vaporizer. It is possible in this way to achieve a very flexible adjustment of the heat emitter (s) combined in the device by the use of an appropriate means such as an indoor / outdoor thermostat adjusting the temperature of the heating medium or a thermostat. hydraulic regulating the volume of the heating agent admitted into the vaporizer.
It is clear that this arrangement eliminates the need for a limiter as is usually provided in installations of heat emitters driven by a fan since the turbine does not operate before the vaporization of the working fluid has started, this vaporization depending on the temperature. temperature of the heating agent feeding the vaporizer.
Another advantage of this arrangement is that the motor device is a non-electrical device which therefore does not require any expensive electrical connection as is usually the case when it is desired to increase the output energy of the heat emitters or when an installation has several heat emitters.
The motor device can replace the usual electric circulation pumps so that the heat transfer medium of a central heating installation can circulate without calling on any source of electrical energy. The driving device can be coupled to a generator supplying the local electrical energy necessary for the ignition or the action of control or adjustment devices.
The low pressure vaporizer, the turbine and the low temperature condenser form a single constructive unit. Such a unit can be easily adapted to any type of heat source or emitter.
