Description
Transportpalette
Die Höhe der Rippen ist etwa gleich deren mittlerer Breite; die Rippen, vorzugsweise alle Rippen verlaufen parallel zu den Aussenkanten der Palette; die parallel zu den Schmalseiten der Palette verlaufenden Rippen sind länger als die anderen Rippen, wobei sie vorzugsweise annähernd über die ganze Palettenbreite durchgehen; sich kreuzende Rippen gehen ineinander über; die Tragfläche der Palette ist durch zwischen den Rippen liegende Einzelflächen gebildet, die vorzugsweise etwa rechteckig sind; die Einzelflächen haben in einer Richtung, vorzugsweise parallel zur Schmalseite der Palette eine grössere Erstreckung als in der dazu rechtwinkligen Richtung; die unmittelbar benachbart zu den Aussenkanten der Palette liegenden Einzelflächen sind quadratisch;
Fig. 1 eine erfindungsgemässe Transportpalette in Draufsicht,
Enden abgerundet.
Transport pallet
The invention relates to a transport pallet with a carrying side and a stand side formed by feet. In the course of the standardization, such pallets have become known under the term European standard transport pallet).
The invention is based on the object of designing a transport pallet, in particular of this standard, in such a way that high strength is ensured with a simple structure and low weight.
In the case of a transport pallet of the type described at the outset, this is achieved according to the invention in that the pallet, including the feet, is formed in one piece and has channel-shaped ribs projecting from the carrying side to the stand side and distributed over the supporting surface.
The flanks of each rib expediently run downwards at an acute angle to one another, so that they in no way hinder the stacking of similar pallets.
The following measures are particularly suitable for increasing the strength of the transport pallet:
The height of the ribs is roughly equal to their mean width; the ribs, preferably all ribs, run parallel to the outer edges of the pallet; the ribs running parallel to the narrow sides of the pallet are longer than the other ribs, and they preferably extend over approximately the entire width of the pallet; crossing ribs merge into one another; the support surface of the pallet is formed by individual surfaces lying between the ribs, which are preferably approximately rectangular; the individual surfaces have a greater extent in one direction, preferably parallel to the narrow side of the pallet, than in the direction at right angles thereto; the individual surfaces immediately adjacent to the outer edges of the pallet are square;
the individual surfaces lying adjacent to the outer edges of the pallet are each provided between two feet, with individual surfaces lying preferably at corners of the feet being angular; the rib height corresponds to about a quarter of the total height of the pallet; the rib width corresponds to approximately one third of the edge length of the individual surfaces, with all ribs preferably being of the same width.
In a further embodiment of the invention, a foot is provided at each corner of the pallet and, preferably between two corner feet adjacent to all outer edges, another foot and, in particular, a foot located in the middle of the pallet, so that a very secure stand of the transport pallet is ensured. The strength of the feet is very high if the feet are rectangular, preferably square, in cross-sections parallel to the standing surface.
In order to be able to stack the transport pallet according to the invention with pallets of the same type very closely on top of one another, the foot on the carrying side must be open. It is preferably closed on the stand area. Stacking requires that each foot is tapered to the standing surface.
In order to be able to protect the edge of the transport pallet in a simple manner against damage, this edge can be angled towards the stand side, whereby it preferably has the same height as the ribs.
The transport pallet according to the invention expediently consists of a deep-drawn plastic plate, such as a polystyrene film.
The invention is explained in more detail below, for example; the drawing shows an exemplary embodiment approximately to scale. They are shown in
1 shows a transport pallet according to the invention in plan view,
FIG. 2 shows a section along the line II-II in FIG. 1 in an enlarged representation.
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the transport pallet consists of a deep-drawn rectangular plate 1, the edge 2 of which is angled approximately at right angles downward.
At the four corners, the plate 1 has a foot 3 at a small distance from the respective corner edges, which is square in cross-sections parallel to the base 4 and tapered at an acute angle to the base 4. Corresponding feet 5 are also provided in the middle between two corner feet 3 adjacent to the associated outer edge 6 or 7, a ninth foot 8 also being provided in the middle of the transport pallet. Between the feet 3, 5 and in the middle of the pallet 1, ribs 9 to 12 are provided, which all have the same width and height. The ribs 11, 12 lying adjacent to the outer edges 6, 7 are provided with a spacing from these outer edges 6, 7 approximately corresponding to their width such that a frame-like edge 13 is formed that runs continuously along the outer edges 6, 7.
The feet 3, 5 provided on the outer edges engage slightly in this edge 13.
The ribs 9 to 12 run essentially parallel to the outer edges 6, 7 of the pallet, i.e. in two directions at right angles to one another, with the ribs 10, 11 parallel to the narrow sides 7, except in the area of the feet within the frame 13, approximately over the entire width pass through the pallet, while the ribs 9 parallel to the longitudinal edges 6, apart from the ribs 12 lying immediately adjacent to the longitudinal edges 6, are formed by short rib sections. The rib sections 9 lying on one side of a continuous rib 10 are offset by half the distance between two adjacent such rib sections 9 relative to the rib sections lying on the other side of this rib 10, ie by half a pitch.
As a result, individual surfaces 14 to 18 distributed in a grid-like manner are formed, of which the individual surfaces 14 located at a distance from the feet and the edge 13 are rectangular with a greater extent parallel to the narrow edges 7. The individual surfaces 15 lying adjacent to the feet are square, while the individual surfaces 16 lying at the corners of the feet are angular. Finally, elongate individual surfaces 17 are provided immediately adjacent to the ribs 12 and then approximately uniform individual surfaces 18 on the feet. All individual surfaces are rounded at their corners or ends.
All individual surfaces 14 to 18 lie in a common plane, specifically in the same plane as the surface of the edge 13, so that the individual surfaces 14 to 18 and the surface of the edge 13 form the supporting surface of the pallet.
All ribs and feet are deep-drawn from the support side 19 of the transport pallet to the stand side 4, that is, open to the support side 19 and closed to the stand side 4.
The height of the ribs corresponds to about a quarter of the total height of the transport pallet, which is the same as the height of the feet 3, 5, 8, the height of the angled edge 2 being equal to the height of the ribs. The dimensions of the pallet shown are 1200 X 800 mm.
