Fig. 2 einen Schnitt nach der Linie A-A der Figur 1.

Gas liquefaction plant for heavy oil engines, in particular for motor vehicles
The present invention relates to a gas liquefaction system for heavy oil engines, in particular for motor vehicles. The advantage of using the system according to the invention in motor vehicles over the previously known internal combustion piston machines is that, on the one hand, the engine works much more quietly and therefore more quietly and, on the other hand, it does not generate or release any harmful exhaust gases that can mix with the air will.
The gas liquefaction system according to the invention for heavy oil engines is characterized by a pipeline provided with windings leading into a collecting tank, by a branch pipe connected to this pipeline, which is connected to a soot removal device, and by a petroleum tank connected to a pipe of said device, which is connected to the Collector tank communicates in such a way that the soot component remains in the petroleum container while the gas is fed into the collection tank.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing. In the drawing shows:
1 shows a schematic representation of the gas liquefaction system for a motor vehicle and
FIG. 2 shows a section along the line A-A of FIG.
As can be seen from FIG. 1, the system used in a motor vehicle has a first pipe section 10 which is made of silicon-rich cast steel in order to repel the oxygen and thus prevent oxidation. The tube 10 has an elongated cross section and is provided with cooling fins 11. In order to enable the hot gas to adapt to the outside temperature, on the one hand the pipe section 10 is connected to further pipe parts 12, 13 and 14 which run in the form of windings. On the other hand, these pipe parts are arranged in such a way that they are transverse to the direction of travel of the motor vehicle.
The spiral tube parts 12, 13 and 14 are made of galvanized sheet metal, which can have a thickness of 1 mm, for example. At the end of the last pipe part 14 a nozzle 15 is installed.
Since the gas to be liquefied is an extremely heavy gas, a pressure of 7 to 8 atm is sufficient to liquefy the gas. Behind the said expansion nozzle 15, the tube tapers until it has a round cross-section with a diameter of approximately 20 mm. This end of the pipe is passed through a collecting funnel 16 into a collecting tank 17 for the gas. Since the tank has a closed outer jacket, the air must reach the outside through the collecting funnel.
The first pipe section 10 has an extension part 18 with a head part 19, in which a poppet valve 20 and a coil 21 with an iron core 22 that are operatively connected to this valve are arranged. This device is used to remove the soot generated when the gas moves slowly from the lines. For this purpose, the iron core 22 of the coil 21 is pushed against the poppet valve by means of an electrical device 23 which is controlled by the odometer 24 of the vehicle. This opens the valve and the released gas takes with it the accumulated soot to be removed. The valve can be opened every 500 m, for example. The valve, which is open for approx. One second, is brought into the closed position by means of a spring when the current pulse acting on the coil subsides.
Between the poppet valve 20 and the coil 21 there is an opening in the head part 19 which is connected to a tube 25. The gas with the soot to be removed is fed through this pipe 25 into an oil tank 26.
This oil tank 26 is arranged directly next to the collection tank 17 and connected to it.
Since the exhaust gas passing through the pipe 25 into the petroleum tank contains no trace of oxygen, the petroleum cannot ignite. The large amount of gas flowing into said container 26 causes the petroleum in container 26 to bubble.
The smoke and soot remain in the petroleum tank, while the gas, for example unburned H <compounds, passes through an opening 27 into the collecting tank 17. Depending on the severity of the gas, it sinks to the bottom of the container, so that no harmful exhaust gases, which can pollute the air, are released.
FIG. 2 shows a section along the line A-A of FIG. 1, the pipe section 10 having an elongated cross section with the cooling fins 11 being shown on a larger scale.
Since devices that are functionally connected to the system according to the invention are of a known type, only the parts required for understanding the invention have been mentioned above and their mode of operation has been explained.
