Verfahren zur Herstellung von Thiazolderivaten Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von neuen Thiazolderivaten, die als entzündungs- und fiebermildernde sowie schmerzlindernde Mittel wirksam sind.
Gemäss der Erfindung werden Thiazolderivate der Formel:

und deren Salze hergestellt, wobei Y oder die Gruppe -CR1R2-COOH sich in der 2-Stellung des Thiazolkerns befindet, X ein Wasserstoffatom oder einen Alkylrest und Y einen Phenyl- oder Phenylalkylrest, der einen oder zwei Halogensubstituenten oder einen p-Nitro- oder p- -Trifluormethylsubstituenten im Phenylring trägt, und R1 und R2, die gleich oder verschieden sein können, Was serstoffatome oder Alkylreste bedeuten.
Stellt X einen Alkylrest dar, so kann dieser z.B. ein solcher mit höchstens 3 Kohlenstoffatomen, wie z.B. der Methylrest, sein.
Stellt Y .ein substituiertes Phenylalkylradikal dar, so kann dieses z.B. ein Phenylalkylradikal mit höchstens 9 C-Atomen, beispielsweise das Benzylradikal, sein, das in der o.a. Weise substituiert ist. Der Halogensubstituent bzw. die Halogensubstituenten, die eventuell in der Grup pe Y enthalten sind, können aus Fluor-, Chlor- u. Brom atomen gewählt werden.
Stellt R1 oder R2 ein Alkylradikal dar, so kann die ses z.B. ein solches mit höchstens 4 C-Atomen, beispiels weise das Methyl-, Äthyl- oder Isopropylradikal, sein. Das erfindungsgemässe Verfahren besteht darin, dass man ein Thiazolderivat der Formel:

oder ein Säureadditionssalz davon, in welcher Y oder die Gruppe -CR1R2-R3 in der 2-Stellung des Thiazolkerns liegt, X, Y, R1 und R2 die o.a. Bedeutungen haben und R3 das Cyano- (CN) oder Carbamoylradikal (CONH2) oder die Gruppe -COOR4 darstellt, wobei R4 für einen Alkyl-, Aralkyl- oder Arylrest steht, hydrolysiert.
Als Beispiel für ein geeignetes hydrolytisches Mittel kann man eine Base, beispielsweise ein Alkalimetallhy droxyd wie Kaliumhydroxyd, oder eine Säure, beispiels weise eine anorganische Säure wie Salzsäure, erwähnen. Die Hydrolyse kann auch in einem organischen Lösungs mittel, wie z.B. Äthanol, durchgeführt und durch Wärme zufuhr beschleunigt oder zum Abschluss gebracht wer den.
Stellt R4 ein Alkylradikal dar, so kann es z.B. ein Alkylradikal mit höchstens 5 C-Atomen, beispielsweise das Methyl-, Äthyl- oder n-Butylradikal, sein. Stellt R4 ein Aralkyl- oder Arylradikal dar, so kann es z.B. ein Phenylalkylradikal mit höchstens 9 C-Atomen, wie z.B. das Benzylradikal, oder das Phenylradikal sein.
Die Verfahrensprodukte können in geeignete Salze übergeführt werden, worunter beispielsweise solche mit Alkalimetallen oder Erdalkalimetallen, z.B. die Natrium- oder Calciumsalze, oder die Salze mit pharmazeutisch annehmbaren organischen Basen erwähnt seien. Die als Ausgangsprodukte verfahrensgemäss verwen deten Ester, Nitrile und Amide können nach den be kannten allgemeinen Verfahren der heterocyclischen Che mie hergestellt werden.
Die Erfindung wird durch die folgenden Beispiele erläutert, in welchen die Teile Gewichtsteile sind. <I>Beispiel 1</I> 6,5 Teile Äthyl-4-(4-bromphenyl)-thiazol-2-ylacetat (Smp. 71,5-72,50C) werden während 10 Minuten mit 40 Teilen wässriger 10%iger Kaliumhydroxydlösung zum Sieden erhitzt. Die klare Lösung wird abgekühlt und durch Filtrieren gereinigt. Die Lösung wird mittels. ver dünnter Salzsäure auf pH 4 eingestellt, wobei die Tem peratur zwischen 15 und 20 C gehalten wird. Der erhal tene Niederschlag von 4-(4-Bromphenyl)-thiazol-2-yl-es- sigsäure wird durch Abfiltrieren isoliert, mit Wasser gut gewaschen und im Vakuum über Phosphorpentoxyd bei Raumtemperatur getrocknet. Zers.P. 122 - 123 C.
<I>Beispiel 2</I> Eine Suspension von 10 Teilen 4-(4-Bromphenyl)-2- -cyano-methylthiazol (Smp. 124 - 126 C) in 100 Teilen wässriger 20%iger Kaliumhydroxydlösung wird während 7 Stunden am Rückfluss zum Sieden erhitzt. Die ent standene Mischung wird filtriert und das Filtrat durch Zugabe von Salzsäure bei einer unterhalb 20 C gehalte nen Temperatur bis auf pH 4 angesäuert. Die 4-(4-Brom- phenyl)-thiazol-2-yl-essigsäure scheidet sich dabei aus u. wird durch Abfiltrieren isoliert, mit Wasser gut gewa schen und im Vakuum über Phosphorpentoxyd bei Raum temperatur getrocknet. Die Säure hat ein infrarotes Spek trum, welches mit jenem der gemäss Beispiel 1 erhaltenen Säure identisch ist.
<I>Beispiel 3 '</I> 3,7 Teile 2-(4-Chlorphenyl)-4-cyanomethylthiazol (Smp. 116 - 117 C) und 35 Teile 6n-Salzsäure werden während 2 Stunden am Rückfluss zum Sieden erhitzt. Die Lösung wird durch Eiszugabe abgekühlt und durch Zusatz von 30%igem wässrigem Ammoniak auf pH 8 alkalisch gestellt. Das Gemisch wird filtriert, um Verun reinigungen zu entfernen, und ein Überschuss an 40%iger Natriumhydroxydlösung wird dem Filtrat zugesetzt, wo durch ein Natriumsalz ausfällt, das durch Abfiltrieren isoliert und aus Wasser umkristallisiert wird. Die erhal tene Verbindung ist das Natriumsalz der 2-(4-Chlorphe- nyl)-thiazol-4-yl-essigsäure vom Smp. 123 C (Zers.P.).
Das Natriumsalz wird in heissem Wasser gelöst und die Lösung durch Zugabe von Essigsäure auf pH 4 ein gestellt, wodurch die 2-(4-Chlorphenyl)-thiazol-4-yl-essig- säure ausfällt. Die Säure wird durch Abfiltrieren isoliert, mit Wasser gewaschen und im Vakuum über Phosphor- pentoxyd getrocknet. Sie schmilzt bei 155 - 156 C.
<I>Beispiel 4</I> Das in Beispiel 3 für die Herstellung der 2-(4-Chlor- phenyl)-thiazol-4-yl-essigsäure beschriebene Verfahren wird wiederholt, wobei jedoch das als Ausgangsprodukt verwendete Thiazolderivat durch ein entsprechendes Thi- azolderivat ersetzt wird; auf dieselbe Weise erhält man die folgenden Verbindungen:

<I>Beispiel 5</I> 3 Teile Äthyl-2-(4-chlorbenzyl)-thiazol-4-ylacetat-hy- drochlorid (Smp. 139-141 C) werden mit 30 Teilen wäss- riger 1n-Natriumhydroxydlösung während 30 Minuten am Rückfluss zum Sieden erhitzt und das Gemisch anschlies send mittels Essigsäure auf PH 4 angesäuert. Das ausge schiedene Produkt wird durch Filtrieren isoliert, mit Wasser gewaschen, getrocknet und aus einem 1 : 1-Ge- misch von Tetrachlorkohlenstoff und Petroläther (Siede punkt 60 - 80 C) kristallisiert.
Auf diese Weise erhält man die 2-(4-Chlorbenzyl)-thiazol-4-yl-essigsäure vom Smp. 114-1160C. <I>Beispiel 6</I> 3 Teile Äthyl-α-.[2-(4-chlorphenyl)thiazol-4-yl]propio- nat (Sdp. 152 - 153 C/0,4 mm bzw. 132-134 C/0,12 mm) und 40 Teile wässrige 0,5n-Natriumhydroxydlösung wer den während 2 Stunden am Rückfluss zum Sieden er hitzt. Die Lösung wird mittels Salzsäure auf pH 4 ange säuert und filtriert.
Der erhaltene feste Rückstand wird mit Wasser gewaschen, auf. 80 C getrocknet und aus Cy- clohexan umkristallisiert, wobei die α-[2-(4-Chlrophenyl)- thiazol-4-yllpropionsäure Smp. 96 - 97 C erhalten wird. <I>Beispiel 7</I> 10 Teile Äthyl-2-(4-chlorphenyl)-4-methylthiazol-5- -ylacetat werden in 50 Teilen Methanol gelöst und der Lösung eine wässrige 10n-Natriumhydroxydlösung bis auf pH 11 zugegeben; das Gemisch wird während 20 Mi nuten zum Sieden erhitzt und in Wasser eingegossen. Die entstandene Mischung wird filtriert, das Filtrat mit Es sigsäure auf pH 4 angesäuert und das ausgeschiedene Produkt durch Abfiltrieren isoliert.
Das Produkt wird durch Extraktion mittels kalten 5%igen wässrigen Am moniumhydroxyds, Behandlung der Lösung mit Aktiv kohle und Ausfällen mit Essigsäure bei pH 4 gereinigt. Das Produkt wird durch Abfiltrieren isoliert; es besteht aus 2 - (4 - Chlorphenyl) -4 - methylthiazol-5-yl-essigsäure vom Smp. 172-175 C (Zers.). <I>Beispiel 8</I> 13 Teile 4-Fluorphenacylbromid werden einer Lösung von 9,7 Teilen Äthyl-thiocarbamoylacetat in 16 Teilen Äthanol bei 60 C langsam zugegeben. Die Lösung wird während 45 Minuten am Rückfluss zum Sieden erhitzt und das Äthanol durch Destillation unter vermindertem Druck entfernt. Der feste Rückstand wird mit warmem Äthylacetat verrührt, das erhaltene Gemisch filtriert und der feste Rückstand mit warmem Äthylacetat gewaschen.
Das erhaltene feste Äthyl-4-(4-fluorphenyl)thiazol-2-yl- acetat-hydrobromid wird während 1 Stunde mit 70 Teilen wässrigem 2n-Kaliumhydroxyd am Rückfluss zum Sieden erhitzt und das Gemisch darauf abgekühlt und 2mal mit 50 Teilen Äther gewaschen. Die wässrige Lösung wird mit Aktivkohle entfärbt, filtriert und durch Zugabe von 20%iger Salzsäure auf pH 3 eingestellt. Der erhaltene Niederschlag wird durch Filtrieren isoliert, mit Wasser gut gewaschen und in einer verdünnten wässrigen Am moniaklösung gelöst. Die Lösung wird durch Zugabe verdünnter Salzsäure auf pH 3 eingestellt, das ausge schiedene feste Produkt durch Filtrieren abgetrennt, mit Wasser gewaschen und über Phosphorpentoxyd bei Raumtemperatur getrocknet.
Auf diese Weise erhält man die 4-(4-Fluorphenyl)thiazol-2-yl-essigsäure, vom Smp. 120 C (Zers.).
Bei Verwendung von 4-Chlorphenacylbromid an stelle von 4-Fluorphenacylbromid erhält man nach dem selben Verfahren die 4-(4-Chlorphenyl)thiazol-2-yl-essig- säure vom Smp. 118 C (Zers.). <I>Beispiel 9</I> 8,35 Teile 4-Bromphenacylbromid werden einer Lö sung von 4,85 Teilen Äthyl,α-thiocarbamoylpropionat in 20 Teilen Äthanol bei 50 C langsam zugegeben. Die Mi schung wird während 11/ Stunden am Rückfluss zum Sieden erhitzt und das Äthanol unter vermindertem Druck abdestilliert. Der Rückstand wird mit warmem Äthylacetat verrührt, die entstandene Mischung abfiltriert und der feste Rückstand mit warmem Äthylacetat ge waschen.
Das erhaltene feste Äthyl-α-[4-(4-bromphenyl)- thiazol-2-yl]propionat-hydrobromid wird einer 2n-Ka- lium-hydroxydlösung in 50 Teilen 90%igem Äthanol zu gegeben und das Gemisch während 1 Stunde unter Rüh ren am Rückfluss zum Sieden erhitzt. Das Äthanol wird unter vermindertem Druck abdestilliert und 50 Teile Wasser werden zugegeben. Die Lösung wird 2mal mit Äther gewaschen, mit Aktivkohle entfärbt, filtriert und durch Zugabe von verdünnter Salzsäure auf pH 3 einge stellt. Es entsteht eine kautschukartige Fällung, wel che durch 30minütiges Rühren der Suspension erstarrt.
Der feste Stoff wird durch Abfiltrieren isoliert, mit Was ser gut gewaschen und mit 20 Teilen einer wässrigen 4%igen Ammoniaklösung versetzt. Diesem Gemisch wird Kieselgur zugegeben und das Gemisch abfiltriert. Durch Zugabe verdünnter Salzsäure wird das Filtrat auf pH 3 eingestellt und die .erhaltene Suspension während 30 Mi nuten -gerührt. Das Gemisch wird abfiltriert, der feste Rückstand mit Wasser gut gewaschen und im Vakuum über Phosphorpentoxyd bei Raumtemperatur getrocknet, wobei die α-[4-(4-Bromphenyl)thiazol-2-yl]-propionsäure vom Smp. 110 C (Zers.) erhalten wird.
Ausgehend von den entsprechenden Ausgangsproduk ten werden nach demselben Verfahren die folgenden Säuren hergestellt: α-[4-(4-Chlorphenyl)thiazol-2-yl]propionsäure vom Smp. 94 - 95 C (Zers.) und α-[4-(4-Bromphenyl)-thiazol- -2-yl]isovaleriansäure vom Smp. 110 - 111 C (Zerr.).
Die bei der Herstellung der letztgenannten beiden Verbindungen als Ausgangsprodukte verwendeten Thio- amide werden aus den entsprechenden Nitrilen folgen- dermassen hergestellt: Herstellung des Äthyl,α-thiocarbamoylpropionats. 98,8 Teile Äthyl-α-cyanpropionat werden zu 650 Tei len Äthanol zugegeben, in welchen 2,5 Teile Kalium ge löst worden sind. Die Lösung wird auf -10 C abgekühlt und mit Schwefelwasserstoff- bei derselben Temperatur gesättigt. Es wird langsam auf 65 C erwärmt und wäh rend 2 Stunden bei derselben Temperatur gehalten.
Die- ses Verfahren, nämlich Sättigung mit Schwefelwasserstoff bei -10 C und anschliessendes Erhitzen auf 65 C wäh rend 2 Stunden, wird insgesamt 4mal durchgeführt. Das Gemisch wird anschliessend abgekühlt und durch Zu gabe von äthanolischem Chlorwasserstoff auf pH 5 ein gestellt. Das Gemisch wird filtriert und das Äthanol vom Filtrat unter vermindertem Druck abdestilliert. Das ver bleibende Öl wird auf 85 C unter einem Druck von 1 nun erhitzt, um nicht umgesetztes Äthyl-,α-cyanpropionat zu entfernen, und der Rückstand wird mit kaltem Tetra chlorkohlenstoff gewaschen. Das feste Produkt wird dann aus Tetrachlorkohlenstoff umkristallisiert, wobei Äthyl- -cc-thiocarbamoylpropionat vom Smp. 68 - 69 C erhalten wird.
Das Äthyl-α-thiocarbamoylisovalerianat wird auf die selbe Weise aus dem entsprechenden Nitril hergestellt; nach Umkristallisieren aus Cyclohexan schmilzt es bei 84 - 85 C.
<I>Beispiel 10</I> 8,3 Teile 4-Bromphenacylbromid werden einer Lö sung von 5,25 Teilen Äthyl-α-thiocarbämoylisobutyrat in 20 Teilen Äthanol bei 50 C langsam zugegeben. Die Mi schung wird während 1 Stunde am Rückfluss zum Sieden erhitzt und das Äthanol unter vermindertem Druck ab destilliert. Das verbleibende Öl wird mit 100 Teilen Äthyl- acetat bei 50 C gerührt und das gebildete feste Äthyl- -α-[4-(4-bromphenyl)thiazol-2- yl]isobutyrat-hydrobromid wird durch Abfiltrieren abgetrennt. Das Produkt wird mit 30 Teilen einer 2n-Kaliumhydroxydlösung in Ätha- nol gemischt und während 20 Minuten am Rückfluss ge rührt.
Die Mischung wird abgekühlt, mit 35 Teilen Was ser verdünnt und unter vermindertem Druck zur Hälfte des Volumens eingeengt. Die erhaltene Lösung wird mit Äther zweimal gewaschen, mit Aktivkohle behandelt und filtriert. Das Filtrat wird auf 5 C abgekühlt und durch langsame Zugabe wässriger 5n-Salzsäure auf PH 3 ein gestellt, wobei die Temperatur auf 5 C gehalten wird. Das dabei ausgeschiedene Produkt wird durch Abfiltrie ren abgetrennt, mit Wasser gewaschen, auf dem Filter gut entwässert und nochmals in verdünnter wässriger Ka liumhydroxydlösung gelöst. Die trübe Lösung wird durch Filtrieren geklärt, auf 5 C abgekühlt und mittels ver dünnter Salzsäure auf pH 3 eingestellt.
Die erhaltene Suspension wird während 30 Minuten gerührt und die ausgeschiedene α- [4-(4- Bromphenyl)thiazol-2-yl]isobut- tersäure durch Abfiltrieren abgetrennt, mit Wasser gut gewaschen und im Vakuum über Phosphorpentoxyd bei Raumtemperatur getrocknet. Die Säure zersetzt sich bei 97 C. <I>Beispiel 11</I> Das in Beispiel 3 beschriebene Verfahren wird wie derholt, wobei jedoch das 2-(4-Chlorphenyl)-4-cyanome- thylthiazol durch 2-(2,6-Dichlorphenyl)-4-cyanomethyl- thiazol (Smp. 77-780C) ersetzt wird.
Nach demselben Verfahren erhält man die 2-(2,6-Dichlorphenyl)thiazol- -4-ylessigsäure vom Smp. 130-1311C.
<I>Beispiel 12</I> 5,5 Teile Äthyl-2-(3,4-Dichlorphenyl)-4-methylthiazol- -5-ylacetat-hydrobromid und 40 Teile n-Natriumhy- droxydlösung werden während 90 Minuten am Rück- fluss zum Sieden erhitzt. Die Lösung wird abgekühlt, mit Aktivkohle entfärbt und filtriert. Das Filtrat wird mit Eisessig angesäuert und das erhaltene Gemisch ab filtriert. Der feste Rückstand wird soweit wie möglich in 50 Teilen heissem 5%igem (Gew.-Vol.) wässrigem Ammoniumhydroxyd gelöst und das Gemisch filtriert. Das heisse Filtrat wird mit Eisessig angesäuert und ab kühlen gelassen.
Die kristallinische Verbindung wird durch Abfiltrieren isoliert, mit Wasser gewaschen und getrocknet, wobei die 2-(3,4-Dichlorphenyl)-4-methylthi- azol-5-yl-essigsäure vom Smp. 168 C erhalten wird.
Bei Verwendung des entsprechenden 4-Fluor-phenyl- derivates als Ausgangsprodukt erhält man auf dieselbe Weise die 2-(4-Fluorphenyl)-4-methylthiazol-5-yl-essig- säure vom Smp. 134 C.
Bei Verwendung des entsprechenden 4-Trifluor-me- thylphenylderivates als Ausgangsprodukt erhält man auf dieselbe Weise die 4-Methyl-2-(4-trifluormethyl-phenyl) thiazol-5-yl-essigsäure vom Smp. 150 C.
<I>Beispiel 13</I> 10,3 Teile 4-Chlorthiobenzamid und 7,8 Teile Äthyl- -;p-brom-j3-formylpropionat in 40 Teilen Äthanol werden während 4 Stunden am Rückfluss zum Sieden erhitzt und anschliessend im Vakuum zur Trockne eingedampft. Die verbleibende kautschukartige Substanz wird mit 100 Tei len Äther gerührt und der Äther darauf durch Abdekan tieren entfernt. Nach Wiederholung dieser Massnahme werden dem Rückstand 100 Teile Äther und 50 Teile einer 5%igen (Gew./Vol.) wässrigen Natriumbicarbonat- lösung zugegeben. Die Ätherschicht wird abgetrennt, mit 100 Teilen Wasser zweimal gewaschen und im Vakuum zur Trockne eingedampft.
Der aus Äthyl-2-(4-chlorphe- nyl)thiazol-5-ylacetat bestehende Rückstand wird mit 30 Teilen n-Natriumhydroxydlösung während 2 Stunden am Rückfluss zum Sieden erhitzt und das Gemisch dann ab gekühlt. Nach Zugabe von Aktivkohle und Filtrieren des Gemisches wird das Filtrat mit Eisessig angesäuert und mit 20 Teilen Chloroform 5mal extrahiert. Die Chloro formextrakte werden vereinigt, 3mal mit 50 Teilen Was ser gewaschen, über wasserfreiem Magnesiumsulfat ge trocknet und filtriert. Das Filtrat wird zur Trockne ein gedampft und der Rückstand aus Cyclohexan umkristal lisiert, wobei man die 2-(4-Chlorphenyl)thiazol-5-yl-essig- säure vom Smp. 153-155 C erhält.
<I>Beispiel 14</I> Eine Lösung von 5,7 Teilen Äthyl-2-(4-trifluorme- thylphenyl)thiazol-4-ylacetat-hydrochlorid (Smp. 158 - 159 C) u. 2,6 Teilen Natriumhydroxyd in 75 Teilen Was ser wird während 2 Std. am Rückfluss zum Sieden erhitzt. Das erhaltene Gemisch wird mit 175 Teilen Wasser ver dünnt, filtriert und das Filtrat mit Eisessig angesäuert. Das Gemisch wird abfiltriert und der feste Rückstand in 50 Teilen heisser 5%iger (Gew./Vol.) Ammoniumhy droxydlösung suspendiert. Das Gemisch wird heiss fil triert und das Filtrat mit Eisessig angesäuert.
Die Mi schung wird abgekühlt, abfiltriert und der erhaltene feste Rückstand getrocknet. Man erhält auf diese Weise die 2 - (4 -Trifluormethylphenyl)thiazol - 4 -yl-essigsäure vom Smp.123 C.
<I>Beispiel 15</I> Eine Lösung von 2,5 Teilen Äthyl-2-(4-chlorphenyl)- thiazol-4-ylacetat in 15 Teilen wasserfreiem Äther wird einer Lösung von 0,8 Teil Natriumamid in 20 Teilen flüssigem Ammoniak zugegeben. Das Gemisch wird bei -70 C gerührt und es werden insgesamt 2,52 Teile Me- thyljodid in zwei gleichen Anteilen nach einer Zeitspan ne von 30 Minuten zugesetzt. Das Gemisch wird bei -70 C während 1 Stunde gerührt. 2 Teile Ammonium- chlorid werden dann zugegeben und das Ammoniak verdampfen gelassen.
Der Äther wird im Vakuum einge dampft und das erhaltene feste Äthyl-α-[2-(4-chlorphe- nyl)thiazol-4-yl]-isobutyrat mit 15 Teilen 2n-Natriumhy- droxydlösung während 3 Stunden am Rückfluss zum Sie den erhitzt. Die entstandene Lösung wird abgekühlt, mit Aktivkohle entfärbt und das Gemisch wird filtriert. Das Filtrat wird mit Essigsäure angesäuert und mit 20 Teilen Chloroform 3mal extrahiert. Die vereinigten Chloroform extrakte werden reit Wasser gewaschen, über wasser freiem Magnesiumsulfat getrocknet, filtriert und zur Trockne eingedampft.
Der Rückstand wird aus Cyclo- hexan umkristallisiert und ergibt die α-[2-(4-Chlorphenyl)- thiazol-4-yl]isobuttersäure vom Smp. 136 - 138 C.
<I>Beispiel 16</I> 8,4 Teile 1-Brom-3-(4-chlorphenyl)propan-2-on wer den in einer Lösung von 5 Teilen Äthyl-thiocarbamoyl- -acetat in 25 Teilen Äthanol zugegeben und das Gemisch während 1 Stunde am Rückfluss zum Sieden erhitzt. Das Äthanol wird unter vermindertem Druck abdestilliert und der Rückstand mit Äthylacetat verrührt. Die vereinigten wässrigen Lösungen werden mit Aktivkohle gerührt, fil triert und durch Zugabe von Salzsäure auf pH 2 wieder angesäuert. Das ausgeschiedene Produkt wird 3mal mit je 80 Teilen Äther extrahiert und die Lösung über was serfreiem Magnesiumsulfat getrocknet.
Der Äther wird abdestilliert, wobei die letzten Anteile unter verminder tem Druck entfernt werden, damit die Temperatur nicht über 35 C steigt; der Rückstand besteht aus der 4-(4 -Chlorbenzyl)thiazol-2-ylessigsäure, welche unter Zerset zung bei 86 - 87,5 C schmilzt.
<I>Beispiel 17</I> 23,5 Teile α-[4-(4-Bromphenyl)thiazol-2-yl]-propion- säure (siehe Beispiel 9) werden mit 300 Teilen Wasser gerührt und dem Gemisch 2n-wässrige Ammoniaklösung langsam zugegeben, bis fast vollständige Auflösung er reicht wird.
