Werkzeugmaschine
Fig. 1 zeigt eine Seitenansicht der Maschine und
PATENTANSPRUCH

Machine tool
The present invention relates to a machine tool with a table and a rotating tool which protrudes above the table and is driven from below. If you want to use such a machine larger plate-shaped workpieces z. B. cut or mill along a line, the cut is relatively wide because of the tool used. The invention aims to create a machine tool that allows relatively long tools, e.g. B. milling or rasp-like tools to use with a small diameter.
According to the invention, this can be achieved by means of a machine tool, which is characterized in that the upper end of the tool is mounted in a holder with a guide head connected to the table and is additionally driven by a flexible shaft at the guide head that is coupled to the lower drive.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in simplified form in the drawing:
Fig. 1 shows a side view of the machine and
2 shows a guide head for connection to a flexible shaft.
In the stand 1 there is a motor 15 next to a gear box 11 in which the bevel gears 13, 13a are mounted. The drive shaft 12 is designed to receive a tool 7 at the top and is supported in the bracket 4. In this bracket 4 and also in the workbench, holder 5 is given precise guidance. The holder has a downward extension and on its rear side a toothing in which a gear 9 engages, by means of which the holder can be adjusted in height in a manner not shown in the drawing. The holder 5 is flat and has an elongated, narrow cross-sectional profile, the longitudinal axis of which is directed towards the center line of the tool 7. As a result, long straight cuts can be milled out on larger plate-shaped workpieces without the holder being in the way.
A tool holder 6 for the tool 7 is rotatably mounted in the guide head 3 of the holder 5.
The tool 7 is designed like a rasp with teeth arranged in a helical shape.
Fig. 2 shows an exchangeable guide head 3, the tool holder 6 of which is additionally driven by means of bevel gears 17, 17a and a flexible shaft 16 '. In the drawing, this flexible shaft 16 'is indicated by a dot-dash line. The holder shown in FIG. 1 can be replaced by the holder according to FIG. The flexible shaft then connects the shaft end 16 of the gear box with the shaft end 16 ″ of the guide head according to FIG. 2. The tool 7 can then be long and have a small diameter, since it is driven on both sides.
PATENT CLAIM
Machine tool with a table and a rotating tool which protrudes above the table and is driven from below, characterized in that the upper end of the tool is mounted in a holder with a guide head connected to the table and by means of a flexible shaft coupled to the lower drive at the guide head is additionally driven.
SUBCLAIMS
1. Machine tool according to claim, characterized in that the holder has an elongated, narrow cross-sectional profile at least in its lower part and is arranged so that the longitudinal axis of this profile is directed towards the central axis of the tool.
2. Machine tool according to claim, characterized in that the holder is adjustable in height with respect to the table.
3. Machine tool according to claim, characterized in that the holder with guide head can be exchanged so that it can be exchanged for a holder without an additional drive.
