Pipeline for pneumatic or hydraulic transport of short similar
Material plug
Patent No. 459 060 reveals a number of design variants which show the formation of branch lines in a channel running parallel to and outside a conveyor line, with channel partitions being arranged between the outlet and inlet openings connecting the conveyor lines and the channel.
It has been found that in various cases when transporting short, similar material plugs, the conveying medium does not simultaneously flow through both the outlet opening and the inlet opening, which are arranged close together. For example, with normal conveyance with a constant sequence of bulk material plugs, the conveying air, which is used as a conveying medium, has no reason to leave the conveying line in a branch line in the sewer and to flow through this route with significantly higher resistance.
On the basis of this knowledge, the invention relates to a pipeline for the pneumatic or hydraulic transport of short similar material plugs, consisting of a conveying line and branch lines, which are formed in a channel provided parallel to the conveying line between channel subdivisions, as well as from adjacent channels in the area of the channel subdivisions Feed line and the branch lines connecting openings. The characteristic feature of this pipeline for the invention is that the delivery line and the channel forming the branch lines are formed in a pipe by means of a wall attached to the inner wall of the pipe and that the channel subdivisions are arranged between the branch lines in the area of the openings on the wall and extend against the inner wall of the tube.
This results in a very simple structure for the new type of pipeline.
The drawing shows an embodiment of the invention, the single figure of which is a longitudinal section through a pipeline.
A wall 124 is fastened to the inner wall of a pipe 101 by the tensioning elements formed from tensioning screws 123 and nuts 125 in such a way that this pipe is divided into a delivery line 1 and a channel 2 containing the branch lines.
To ensure a gas-tight arrangement, seals 129 and washers 127 are inserted between the nuts 125 and the tube 101.
Depending on the property of the material to be conveyed, the wall 124 has openings 126 at fixed intervals. Channel subdivisions 130 projecting into channel 2 are assigned to these openings 126 in such a way that they adjoin wall 124 after openings 126 in the conveying direction. Between the inner wall of the pipe 101 and the channel subdivision 130, a passage opening 128 opening into the subsequent section of the branch lines in the channel 2 is left free directly next to the last opening 126, so that openings are provided in pairs in the area of the channel subdivisions 130.
In various cases, the conveying medium does not simultaneously arrive both from a preceding branch line in channel 2 through an outlet opening assigned to it into conveying channel 1 and at the same location conveying medium from the conveying line through an inlet opening into the next branch line in channel 2. in particular the bulk material plug, normal, then the conveying air also flows in the conveying line 1 and does not get into the channel 2, which has a higher flow resistance, with the branch lines formed therein. If the promotion is now suspended by, for example, a bulk material plug is stuck in the delivery line 1, the delivery medium occurs, e.g.
B. the conveying air from the conveying line 1 passes through the opening 126 into the passage opening 128 and thus into the first section of the branch lines formed in the channel 2. If it is not possible to convey away material stuck in conveyor line 1 at the next opening 126, the conveying air flows through the next passage opening 128 into the adjoining section of the branch lines in channel 2. This air only leaves such a branch line in channel 2 when a Splitting off of material in the delivery line 1 for further transport is possible.
The advantage of this design lies particularly in the very simple production of the delivery line and branch lines formed in the channel as well as the advantageous arrangement of closely spaced openings between the exit-side ends of the branch lines and the delivery line and the inlet-side passage openings both from the delivery line through the opening into the branch line also the connection of two adjacent branch lines.
Without departing from the invention, due to the embodiment variant shown, it is easily possible to vary it with other conveying line profiles, other channel profiles, other channel dividing elements and other sealing arrangements. In particular, the multiple arrangement of channels distributed over the circumference of the delivery line to form several parallel branch lines is also within the discretion of the person skilled in the art and within the scope of the invention.
