Fig. 2 zeigt ein zweites Ausführungsbeispiel einer Pressplatte.

It is known to subject porous materials to a pressing process during production or processing. It is also known to dry, stabilize or compact such materials in a hydraulic press under pressure and heat. It is also known to improve the physical and / or chemical properties of porous pellets by introducing vapors or gases through their edges during a pressing process, and / or to thereby influence the pressing processes.
It is also known to control the physical and / or chemical parameters I the direct ambient atmosphere of the pellets, before, during and / or after the pressing process, in a closed pressing room, the ambient atmosphere during pressing only through the edges of the pellets in it Can have an effect on the inside, but not through its C) surfaces. Any kind of deep chemical or physical treatment of the pellets through their surfaces, with the previous methods, is only possible before or after the pressing process, and only outside the press.
The purpose of the present invention is to create a press plate which enables the physical and / or chemical properties of the pressed bodies to be changed during the pressing process by means of gaseous or liquid media poured in or out through the surface of the pressed bodies and by means of pressure, vacuum or temperature , and / lodef to control the factors of the pressing process.
To achieve these purposes, the invention is characterized in that the press plate has a porous pressing surface, and that the pores of the pressing surface can be connected to a pressure source and / or a suction source through channels and lines arranged inside and outside the press plate.
The invention is explained, for example, with the aid of the accompanying schematic drawing. Show it:

FIG. 7 is a section along the line VII-VII according to FIG. 6,
Fig.
8 a fifth embodiment of the press plate according to the invention lund
FIG. 9 shows a section along the line IX-IX according to FIG. 8.
On the crosshead 1 of a press, a pressing plate made up of several layers is attached. Adjacent to the crosshead 1, the press plate has a heating plate 2 in which a heating coil 3 for steam, oil or electrical heating is arranged.
An intermediate plate 4, into which a plate element 5 is inserted, is attached to the heating plate 2.
The heating plate w2, the intermediate plate 4 and the plate element 5 are firmly connected to one another. The plate element 5 consists of a porous ceramic material and has a pressing surface 6. In the intermediate plate 4, two main channels 7 and 8 are arranged, which are open to the outside and are connected to a pressure medium or suction source by lines not shown. The inner end of the hand channels 7 and 8 is each connected to a channel 9 and 10, respectively, which open towards the porous plate element 5. Mirror-symmetrically to the press plate attached to the crosshead 1, an identically constructed press table with a heating plate 102 with heating coils 103 is attached to the ram 101.
An intermediate plate 104 with a plate element 105 is attached to the heating plate 102. The heating plate 102, the intermediate plate 104 and the plate element 105 are firmly connected to one another. The plate element 105 has a pressing surface 106. In the intermediate plate 104, two main channels 107 and 108 are arranged, which are open to the outside and connected by a line (not shown) to a pressure medium or suction source (not shown). The inner end of the main channels 107 and 108 are connected to the porous plate member 105 by channels 109 and 110, respectively.
In the case of cold pressing, the heating coils 3 and 103 can be dispensed with. If a compact 11 is pressed between the pressing surfaces 6 or 106, a gaseous or liquid medium can be pressed into the compact 11 through the channels 7 to 10 and the porous plate 5 or the edge 107 to 110 and the pressing plate 105. It is also possible to use the medium mentioned e.g. B. through the channels 7 to 10 and the press plate 5 into the compact 11 to be pressed around through the channels 107 to 110 and the press plate 105, the channels 7 and 8 connected to a source of pressure medium and the channels 107 and 108 to a source of suction are.
Fig. 2 shows a second embodiment of a press plate. In the intermediate plate 4 three main channels 7 are arranged. The intermediate plate 4 is firmly connected to a plate element 5 made of porous sintered metal. Bores 12 are arranged between the plate element 5 and the three main channels 7, one end of which opens into one of the main channels 7 and the other end towards the plate element 5.
A gaseous or liquid medium can thus be pressed through the main channels 7, through the bores 12 and through the porous plate element 5 into the material to be pressed. The main channels 7 are open to the outside and can be connected to a pressure medium or suction source (not shown) by lines not shown.
In the third exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 4 and 5, the porous plate element 5 consists of a metal plate with microbores 13. The diameter of the microbores 13 is selected in such a way that no structures arise on the material to be pressed during the pressing.
Between the plate element 5 and the intermediate plate 4, two further intermediate plates 14 and 15 are arranged, which are each provided with bores 16 and 17, respectively. The bores 13, 16 and 17 are arranged in the plate element 5 and in the plates 14 and 15, respectively, that the bores 13 open with their inner ends into the bores 16, which in turn open into the bores 17. The bores 17 are connected to the main channel 7 by bores 18 in the intermediate plate 4. A medium entering through the main channel 7 then flows through the bores 18, 17, 16 and 13 and then exits the pressing surface 6.
In the fourth embodiment according to FIGS. 6 and 7, the plate element 5 is replaced by a porous sheet of expanded material.
In the fifth embodiment according to FIGS. 8 and 9, the plate element 5 is in direct contact with the intermediate plate 4, which is designed as a heating plate. Heating coils 3 are arranged in the intermediate plate 4 above the plate element 5. The intermediate plate 4 forms with the crosshead 1 a cavity which can be connected via a main channel 7 to a pressure medium or suction source. Furthermore, the cavity is connected to the plate element 5 through bores 12 ′.
This embodiment has the advantage that, if steam is to be supplied to the compact through the plate element 5, water can be conducted in dosed quantities through the main channel 7 into the cavity, where it evaporates on the heated intermediate plate 4 and through the porous plate element 5 reaches the pellet.
According to an embodiment not shown, the plates 2 and 102 with the heating coils 3 and 103 can be omitted. In this case, the compact 11 can be heated during the pressing process by dry hot air which is pressed into the compact 11 via the main channel 7 through the pressing surface 6.
According to another exemplary embodiment, not shown, the porous pressing surface consists of a porous oxide material.
According to a preferred use of the invention, the press plates are arranged in a press with at least two press plates (patent no. 486 315). It is provided that the press plates with the porous press surfaces are arranged in a closable, in the closed state gas-impermeable and heat-insulated housing, the interior of which forms the ambient atmosphere, and that means are provided to measure the chemical composition and / or the physical state variables of the ambient atmosphere ; control sphere. In this way, the porous material can be influenced both by the pressing surfaces and by the laterally exposed surfaces of the pressed part.
