Bijou, notamment bouton de manchette
On connaît par le brevet No 390599 un bijou qui permet à un bijoutier d'avoir un petit nombre de corps en stock et de pouvoir, au goût de son client, assembler d'une manière simple la partie ornementale, par exemple une plaquette à initiales, au corps.
Cependant, il est apparu que, pour répondre à toutes les combinaisons d'initiales possibles, soit la combinaison de vingt-six lettres deux à deux, il aurait fallu un très grand nombre de telles plaquettes. D'autres combinaisons étaient également impossibles, comme, par exemple, I'association d'un motif à des initiales.
La présente invention se propose de fournir un bijou, notamment un bouton de manchette, permettant toutes sortes d'associations et de combinaisons de lettres, signes ou motifs.
Le bijou, notamment un bouton de manchette, faisant l'objet de l'invention est caractérisé par un corps muni d'au moins un logement à même de recevoir des éléments ornementaux complémentaires entre eux, ledit corps et lesdits éléments étant munis de moyens pour leur assemblage.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, quelques formes d'exécution du bijou, objet de l'invention.

Le bijou représenté aux fig. la à 3 comprend un corps 1 de forme carrée qui comporte un logement 2 destiné à recevoir deux éléments décoratifs 3 et 4 dont les formes associées correspondent au logement 2. Ces éléments 3 et 4 (fig. la et lb) portent, par exemple, des initiales et ont une forme triangulaire.
La fixation s'effectue par une broche (non représentée) qui passe à travers l'orifice 5 du corps 1 et s'engage, après avoir traversé les deux canaux 6 des éléments 3 et 4 dans un trou borgne 7 du corps 1. Ledit corps 1 peut posséder une rainure 8 pour loger les canaux 6.
Bien entendu, toutes sortes de moyens de fixation autres que le brochage peuvent être utilisés. Ainsi on peut remplacer la broche par une vis ou une goupille engagée à force, ou bien les éléments 3 et 4 peuvent avoir des chevilles émergeant hors des canaux 6 sous l'influence d'un ressort et s'engageant dans des orifices correspondants du corps 1. Ces chevilles pourraient également être solidaires du corps 1 et pénétrer dans les éléments 3 et 4.
La fixation peut également se faire par la face inférieure du corps, par vis, broche, bouton pression, collage, ou tout autre moyen. A titre de variante, un seul des éléments tels que 3 et 4 est muni de moyens de fixation au corps 1, I'autre pouvant être fixé directement sur cet élément. Les éléments et le corps peuvent également être munis d'épaulements, de rainures ou tout autre moyen permettant, après simple pose d'un élément dans le logement, de le maintenir par fixation du second élément.
Bien entendu, le nombre d'éléments n'est pas limité à deux et leur forme peut être quelconque. A titre d'exemple, la fig. 4 montre deux éléments rectangulaires 10 et 11 fixés dans le corps 1.
Le bijou représenté à la fig. 5 comprend un corps 12 muni de deux logements distincts dans lesquels viennent se fixer, d'une part, deux éléments à initiales 13 et 14 et un élément décoratif 15. Les moyens de fixation qui peuvent être quelconques peuvent avantageusement être communs aux éléments 13, 14 et 15.
On voit que l'invention est susceptible d'une très grande variété d'applications qui ne se limitent évidemment pas aux boutons de manchette.
Jewel, especially cufflink

The present invention proposes to provide a piece of jewelry, in particular a cufflink, allowing all kinds of associations and combinations of letters, signs or patterns.
The jewel, in particular a cufflink, which is the object of the invention is characterized by a body provided with at least one housing capable of receiving complementary ornamental elements between them, said body and said elements being provided with means for their assembly.

The jewel shown in fig. la to 3 comprises a body 1 of square shape which comprises a housing 2 intended to receive two decorative elements 3 and 4, the associated shapes of which correspond to the housing 2. These elements 3 and 4 (fig. la and lb) carry, for example, initials and have a triangular shape.
The fixing is effected by a pin (not shown) which passes through the orifice 5 of the body 1 and engages, after having passed through the two channels 6 of the elements 3 and 4 in a blind hole 7 of the body 1. Said body 1 may have a groove 8 to house the channels 6.
Of course, all kinds of fixing means other than broaching can be used. Thus the spindle can be replaced by a screw or a force-engaged pin, or else the elements 3 and 4 can have pegs emerging from the channels 6 under the influence of a spring and engaging in corresponding holes in the body. 1. These ankles could also be integral with the body 1 and penetrate into the elements 3 and 4.
The fixing can also be done by the underside of the body, by screw, pin, press stud, gluing, or any other means. As a variant, only one of the elements such as 3 and 4 is provided with means for fixing to the body 1, the other being able to be fixed directly to this element. The elements and the body can also be provided with shoulders, grooves or any other means allowing, after simple installation of an element in the housing, to maintain it by fixing the second element.
Of course, the number of elements is not limited to two and their shape can be any. By way of example, FIG. 4 shows two rectangular elements 10 and 11 fixed in the body 1.
The jewel shown in fig. 5 comprises a body 12 provided with two separate housings in which are fixed, on the one hand, two elements with initials 13 and 14 and a decorative element 15. The fixing means which may be any can advantageously be common to the elements 13, 14 and 15.
It can be seen that the invention is capable of a very wide variety of applications which are obviously not limited to cufflinks.
