Toilet with outlet pipe
So far, different types of toilet were required depending on the arrangement of the toilet and the waste pipe, z. B. Left-hand toilets, right-hand toilets, straight-end toilets.
This required large stocks of various types of toilets.
The connection to the waste pipe was also cumbersome, as the waste line had to be specially adapted to the circumstances on a case-by-case basis.
It should also be noted that the outlet connector on the toilet bowl often warps during manufacture, i.e. it is not exactly round, which means that leaks can occur between this outlet connector and the outlet pipe pushed onto it, which are always difficult to eliminate.
These disadvantages can be overcome by the invention.
The invention relates to a toilet with an outlet line to the waste pipe, which is characterized in that the outlet connection of the toilet bowl is arranged horizontally and lying in its vertical longitudinal center plane and has a cylindrical part, the length of which is the length of a socket part of a fitting piece connected to it, which is at least forms part of the outlet line to the waste pipe string, and that the socket part of the fitting piece is sealed by a rubber or plastic sleeve on the outlet connection of the toilet bowl.
The sleeve of the fitting piece is expediently made of thin-walled plastic, so that it can be deformed by hand pressure and thus adapted to the outlet connection of the toilet bowl even if it should be out of round.
The fitting piece can be straight and consist of a socket part and a pipe part of the same length. The continuation of the connection from the fitting piece to the branch pipe is expediently formed by at least one connecting piece provided with a socket. Elbows or straight socket pipes can be used as connecting pieces. If several connecting pieces are provided, these can be turned against each other as required, so that the continuation of the connection can be led exactly to the waste pipe run, regardless of where and how it is arranged. The sealing of the sleeves of the connecting pieces on the pipe ends of adjacent connecting pieces is expediently done by means of rubber or plastic rings.
The connecting pieces are advantageously also made of plastic and their wall thickness is expediently kept so that they can be cut to the required length with sheet metal snips.
The fitting piece can, however, also be angled, preferably at right angles, and consist of a sleeve and a pipe end connected directly to this at the corresponding angle. In cases in which the waste pipe string is arranged directly vertically behind the toilet bowl, when using such a fitting the pipe end can be inserted directly into the waste pipe string without any intermediate link.
When using such pass pieces, the toilet bowl can in any case be placed close to the back wall of the lavatory and only a single toilet bowl version with a straight outlet nozzle is required.
In the drawing, two exemplary embodiments of the subject of the invention are shown.
Show it:
Fig. 1 is a side view of a toilet bowl with the outlet line, partly in section,
Fig. 2 is a plan view of the outlet line of the toilet bowl according to Fig. 1,
3 shows a longitudinal section of a straight fitting piece for an outlet line,
4 shows a longitudinal section of a fitting piece formed at right angles with the pipe end attached directly to its socket.
In the toilet bowl la shown in Fig. 1, the outlet nozzle 1 leads straight out of the toilet bowl la at the rear. It is attached as high as possible on the toilet bowl so that longer continuations of the outlet to the waste pipe line 13 can be laid with a corresponding slope above the floor.
A fitting piece, which consists of a socket 2 and a pipe end 3, which corresponds in length to the socket 2, is pushed onto the outlet connection 1. The length of the cylindrical part of the outlet 1 of the toilet bowl la corresponds to the length of the sleeve 2 of the pass # piece. This fitting piece is expediently made of plastic and its wall thickness is kept in such a way that the sleeve 2 can be deformed by hand pressure. As a result, the sleeve 2 of the fitting piece can be adapted to an outlet connector 1 that is slightly distorted so that a rubber or plastic sleeve 4 pushed onto the connector 1 in the sleeve 2 rests on the outlet connector 1 over the entire circumference with even pressure and thus Leaks are avoided.
To continue the connection from the pass piece 2, 3 to the inlet 12 of the waste pipe string 13, which is provided with a sleeve 11, in the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, three bends 6, 8 and 10, each with a sleeve 5 or 7 or 9 are provided, the socket 5 of the bend 6 being pushed onto the pipe end 3 of the fitting 2, 3 and the pipe end of the bend 10 being inserted into the socket 11 of the inlet of the waste pipe string 13. The seal between the pipe end 3 of the fitting 2, 3 and the socket 5 of the elbow 6, the elbow 6 and the socket 7 of the elbow 8, the elbow 8 and the socket 9 of the elbow 10, and the elbow 10 and the socket 11 of the inlet 12 of the waste pipe string 13 is carried out by rubber or plastic rings 14 which are inserted into the sleeves 5, 7, 9 and 11.
The three bends 5, 6 or 7, 8 or 9, 10, and possibly also the waste pipe string 13, are expediently made of plastic and their wall thicknesses are kept so that they can be cut with sheet metal snips for the purpose of shortening and adjustment, and the bends 6, 8 and 10 can be mutually rotated so that the continuation of the connection can be precisely aligned with the inlet 12 of the waste pipe string 13.
Instead of the three elbows 6, 8 and 10, only one or two or, if necessary, more than three elbows can be provided. Furthermore, in addition to elbows, straight socket pipes can also be used in certain cases.
In cases in which the waste pipe string is arranged directly behind the toilet bowl, a fitting piece designed as an angle piece can be used, as shown for example in FIG.
This fitting piece has a sleeve 15, which is placed on the outlet of the toilet bowl, and a directly attached to this, angled pipe end 16. When using such a fitting piece 15, 16, the toilet bowl can with vertical, through the floor of the lavatory leading drain in the immediate vicinity of the wall of the toilet room.
Since in all cases a toilet bowl la is used with a straight outlet nozzle 1, there is no need to stock differently designed toilet bowls and the fitter has it easy to establish any connection to the inlet of the outlet pipe by simply plugging together any bent and, if necessary, straight socket pipe pieces .
