Wie weiterhin gefunden wurde, weisen die Verfahrensprodukte der allgeeneinen Struktur (I) starke iln sek- tizide und akarizide Eigenschaften auf.. Sie besitzen sowohl eine au & ezeichnete Wirkung gegen fressende als auch saugende Insekten sowie eine hevorragende Wirksamkeit gegen Spinnmilben und Zecken. ID dieser Hinsicht sind die erfindungsgemäss herstellbaren Verbindungen den bekannten Produkten analoger Konstitution und gleicher Wirkungsrichtung eindeutig überlegen;

Process for the production of phosphorus, phosphonic or thionophosphorus (phosphonic) acid esters
The present invention relates to a process for the production of new phosphorus, phosphionr or
Thionophosphonic (phosphonic) acid ester of 6-oxyquinoxaline with insecticidal and acaricidal properties.
German Patent 927 270 already describes thiophosphoric acid esters of N-methylhenzazimides, which have a good effect against sucking or eating insects, inshesonid'ere against spider mites. The aforementioned products are therefore used as pesticides.
Furthermore are from the German. Patent 1115748 already known open-chain and cyclic quinoxalino-2,3-thiophosphoric acid esters. These products are obtained by reacting the corresponding 2,3-dimercaptoquinoxalines with alkyl or aryl phosphorus or thionophosphoric acid monoester di- or diester monohalogenates
According to the information in the patent cited last, these compounds are distinguished by a good insecticidal and acaricidal activity; they are particularly effective against resistant spider mites. However, the production of the aforementioned group of active substances, at least on an industrial scale, is relatively difficult.
It has now been found that in a reaction which proceeds smoothly and with very good yields, phosphoric or thionophosphoric (phosphonic) acid quinoxalyl (6) ester of the general constitution (I)
EMI1.1
can be obtained if 6-hydroxy-quinoxaline of structure (II)
EMI1.2

EMI1.3
implements.
In the above formulas, R and R 'stand for lower alkyl radicals with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, R' can also mean a lower alkoxy or phenyl radical, while X represents a sulfur atom or a halogen atom.
As has also been found, the products of the process of the general structure (I) have strong secicidal and acaricidal properties. They have both an excellent effect against eating and sucking insects and an outstanding effectiveness against spider mites and ticks. In this respect, the compounds which can be prepared according to the invention are clearly superior to the known products of analogous constitution and the same direction of action;
the former are therefore a real asset to technology
The process according to the invention proceeds in the sense of the following equation (IV):
EMI2.1
In the above equation, the symbols R, R ', X and Hal have the meaning given above.
Preferably, however, R represents lower alkyl radicals with 1-3 carbon atoms, such as the methyl, ethyl, n-propyl or isopropyl radical. R 'preferably represents an OR radical or a methyl, ethyl, n- and isopropyl group or the phenyl radical , X primarily represents a sulfur atom and Shark a chlorine or bromine atom.
The 6-hydroxyquinoxaline required as starting material for carrying out the process according to the invention is known from the literature. It can also be used on a technical scale without difficulty z. B.
by condensation of 3,4-diaminophenol with glyoxal or by reduction of 6-nitroquinoxaline and diazotization of the corresponding 6-amino compound and boiling of the diazotization product. 6-Nitroquinoxaline, in turn, is easily accessible by simple nitration of quinoxaline.
The process according to the invention is preferably carried out using suitable solvents or diluents. Practically all inert organic solvents or mixtures thereof come into consideration as such, such as hydrocarbons, e.g. B. gasoline, benzene, toluene, chlorobenzene, xylene, ethers, such as diethyl and dibutyl ethers, dioxane, and ketones, e.g. B. acetone, methyl ethyl, methyl isopropyl and methyl isobutyl ketone. However, low-boiling alphatic alcohols, for example methanol, ethanol and, above all, nitriles z. B. Acetound propionitrile also dimethylformamide.
Furthermore, the reaction according to the process is preferably allowed to proceed in the presence of acid acceptors. Practically all common acid binders can be used for this purpose. Alkali metal alcoholates and carbonates, such as potassium and sodium methylate or ethylate, sodium and potassium carbonate, and also tertiary aromatic or heterocyclic amines, e.g. B. triethylamine, dimethylaniline or pyridine.
The reaction temperature can be varied within a relatively wide range. In general, the temperature is between 20 and 120 ° C. (or the boiling point of the mixture), preferably 40 to 80 ° C. The starting materials not to be added according to the process and the auxiliaries (acid binders) are generally used in stoichiometric amounts. After the starting components have been combined, it is advantageous to post-heat the mixture for a longer time (about 1/2 to 3 hours), if necessary with stirring, in order to complete the reaction. In this procedure, the process products are obtained in excellent yields and in excellent purity.
The phosphorus resp.
Thionophosphorus (phosphonic) acid esters of 6-oxyquinoxaline fall z. Sometimes as colorless crystals with a sharp melting point, which, if necessary, can easily be further purified by recrystallization from the usual solvents; Usually, however, the products are obtained in the form of colorless, yellow-colored, viscous, water-insoluble oils that cannot be distilled without being decomposed, but which are obtained by so-called distillation, ie. H. Prolonged heating under reduced pressure to moderately elevated temperatures freed from the last volatile components and cleaned in this way.
The determination of the refractive index can be used to characterize it more closely.
As already mentioned above, the process products are characterized by excellent insecticidal and acaricidal effectiveness. At the same time, they only have a low level of warm-blooded animals and phytotoxicity. The effect sets in quickly and lasts a long time. For this reason, the compounds which can be prepared according to the invention can be used successfully in crop protection for combating harmful sucking and eating insects and dipteras and against mites (acarina).
The sucking insects are mainly aphids (Aphidae) such as the green peach leaf (Myzus persicae), the bean (Doralis fabae), oat (Rhopalosiphum padi.), Pea (Macrosiphum pisi) and potato (Macrosiphum solanifolii), and more the currant gall (Cyptomyzus korschelti), floury apple (Sappaphis mail), floury plum (Hyalopterus arundinis) and black cherry aphid (Myzus cerasi), also, scale and mealybugs (Coccina), z.

Depending on their intended use, the new active ingredients can be converted into the customary formulations, such as solutions, emulsions, suspensions, powders, pastes and granules. These are made in a known manner, e.g. B. by mixing the active ingredients with extenders, d. H. liquid solvents and / or solid carriers, if necessary with the use of surface-active agents, ie emulsifiers and / or dispersants, where z. B. in the case of the use of water as an extender, organic solvents can optionally be used as auxiliary solvents. The main liquid solvents that can be used are: aromatics (e.g.
Xylene, benzene), chlorinated aromatics (e.g. chlorobenzenes), paraffins (e.g. petroleum fractions), alcohols (e.g. methanol, butanol), strongly polar solvents such as dimethylformamide and dimethyl sulfoxide as well as water; as solid carrier materials: natural rock flour (e.g. kaolins, clays, talc, chalk) and synthetic rock melhe (e.g.
highly disperse silica, silicates); as emulsifiers: nonionic and anionic emulsifiers such as polyoxyethylene fatty acid esters, polyoxyethylene metal alcohol ethers (e.g. alkylaryl polyglycol ethers, alkylsulphonates and arylsulphonates) as dispersants e.g. B. lignin, sulphite waste liquors and methyl cellulose.
The active ingredients according to the invention can be present in the formulations as a mixture with other known active ingredients.
The formulations generally contain between 0.1 and 95 percent by weight of active ingredient, preferably between 0.5 and 90%
The concentration of the active substance can be varied over a wide range. In general, concentrations from 0.00001% to 20%, preferably from 0.01% to 5%, are used
The active compounds can be used as such, in the form of their formulations or the use forms prepared therefrom, such as ready-to-use solutions, emulsifiable concentrates, emulsions, suspensions, wettable powders, pastes, soluble powders, dusts and granules. The application ge happens in the usual way, for.
B. by pouring, spraying, atomizing, smoking, scattering, dusting, gasifying.
The excellent insecticidal and acaricidal effectiveness of the products of the process is based on the following; the application examples:
Example A
Phaedon larvae test
Solvent:
3 parts by weight of acetone
Emulsifier:
1 part by weight of alkylaryl polyglycol ether
To produce a suitable active ingredient preparation, 1 part by weight of the active substance in question is mixed with the specified amount of the respective solvent, which contains the above-mentioned amount of emulsifier, and the concentrate obtained is diluted with water to the desired concentration.
Cabbage leaves (Brassica oleracea) are sprayed with this active compound preparation until dripping wet and then populated with mustard beetle larvae (Phaedon cochleariae).
After the times given in the table below, the degree of destruction of the pests is determined and expressed in%. 100 means that all and O o / o means that no beetle larvae were killed.
Tested active ingredients, applied active ingredient concentrations, evaluation times and obtained test results are shown in the following table 1:
