The invention relates to a method for the manufacture of yarn bobbins, in which a yarn is passed through a thread guide and wound onto a rotating spindle, either the thread guide ent long the spindle or the Spindle is moved back and forth along the thread guide and the reversal points of the back and forth movement are controlled, as well as a yarn winding machine to carry out the Verah rens with a rotatable spindle on which the yarn can be wound on to produce a bobbin, to drive means for Turning the spindle, a thread guide, a lifting mechanism,
to a reciprocating stroke movement of the thread guide along the spindle or the spindle along the thread guide ago, and with limiting means that represent the reversal points at the opposite ends of the Hubbewe supply, and a control mechanism that controls the positions of the limiting means, and the spool of yarn produced by the method according to the invention.
Yarn winding machines for the production of conical yarn bobbins in the manner of the so-called Kreuzkötzer have a lifting mechanism to move a thread guide axially along a spindle back and forth onto which a thread spool is to be wound, or of course the spindle with respect to the thread guide to move back and forth, and a control mechanism to control the reversal points at the opposite ends of the stroke movement.
To produce a Kreuzkötzer, the Steuerme mechanism is arranged so that the reversal point is moved axially to the spindle between fixed limits at one end and the reversal point at the opposite end moves axially to the spindle gradually in the direction of the reciprocating reversal point becomes.
If, in a conventional winding machine with a ring rail, the yarn is to be drawn off at a later point in time via the upper end of the yarn bobbin produced, a suitable Kreuzkötzer is produced by moving the upper reversal point back and forth and gradually raising the lower reversal point.
The reversal points are generally formed by limit switches which, when actuated by a fixed part fixed on the thread guide or on the spindle bearing, cause the drive direction of the lifting mechanism to be reversed. Changes to the reversal points can therefore be achieved by changing the positions of the limit switches. A simple arrangement with which this can be achieved consists of a cam attached to a drive shaft and a cam follower which is rigidly attached to the limit switch. The position of the limit switch is thus determined by the shape of the cam.
Instead of limit switches, other devices can also be used to determine the reversal points, for example stop cams that actuate hydraulic valves are used on some machines. For the sake of simplicity, only the use of limit switches is dealt with in this description.
In conventional ring rail winding machines, the Kreuzkötzer is produced by the upper limit switch responding to a heart-shaped cam, which creates an up and down movement of the upper reversal point between fixed limits axially to the spindle, and the lower limit switch to a Responds worm cam, so that the lower reversal point is gradually raised. The geometric location of the lower reversal point is such that a curve composed of its axial position and time is a straight line.
With both a Kreuzkötzer and a Kötzer, the yarn can easily be pulled off from the lower end of the unwinding movement. A disadvantage, however, is that at the end of the poo at which the turning point is moved up and down, a phenomenon called furrows can occur.
The furrow occurs when the up and down movement of the reversal point is made up of uniform operations during the entire winding process, and results from the fact that the ends of yarn layers are layered on the ends of already wound yarn, i.e. H. be placed on the same axial point of the spin del, because the reversal points coincide with corresponding parts of different operations of the same up and down movement.
The furrowing has a detrimental effect when the yarn is unwound because yarn in an upper layer has temporarily got between or under yarn of the adjacent inner layer, so that a sudden increase in tension is exerted on the yarn in the upper layer during unwinding. While tension changes are not as critical in some cases, such as when heavy yarn is used, they are very undesirable when the yarn is to be used on knitting or raschel machines where it is required that the yarn be at a constant rate low unwinding tension is pulled off the roll.
British patent specification no. 1025 228 describes a yarn winder for making cross jacks in which the cutting effects are reduced. The machine can be arranged so that the waveform of the reciprocating movement of the reversal point is continuously changed, so that the various operations are not uniformly or, in other words, the speed of the lifting movement is continuously changed.
In contrast, the method of the type indicated at the outset is characterized according to the invention in that the one reversal point of two superimposed movements, namely an axial to and fro movement with respect to the spindle and an axial, step-like unidirectional movement with respect to the spindle , depends, and that the other reversal point depends on a relative to the spindle axial stepwise unidirectional movement from which is directed to the reciprocating reversal point.
In a preferred embodiment of the inventive method it is provided that the unidirectional movements at the reversal points are both in the same direction, that the unidirectional movements at the reversal points are equally fast and that the speed is constant at the opposite reversal points.
If the method according to the invention is carried out in its preferred form in which the unidirectional movements of the reversal points are rectified, for example in a conventional ring rail machine, the upper and lower reversal point are moved upwards in steps to the upper end of the spindle, whereby the coil made in this way has another important advantage.
This arises from the increased spindle length around which the ends of the successive yarn layers are placed at the end of the bobbin, which was formed according to the overlapping movements, and from the resulting small angle between the bobbin surface at that end and the spindle axis, and is that the stability of the spool is increased and its unwinding properties are improved.
The machine referred to at the beginning for the implementation of the method according to the invention is characterized according to the invention that the control mechanism consists of a first control means, the limiting means that limit the reversal point at one end of the stroke movement, an axial backward movement with respect to the spindle. and mediated reciprocation, from a second control means which mediates the limiting means, which limit the reversal point at the opposite end of the stroke movement, an axial step-like movement with respect to the spindle in the direction of the reciprocating limiting means,
and consists of a third control means, by means of which the reciprocating movement, which was imparted to a limiting means by the first control means, is superimposed by a step-like movement which is axially unidirectional with respect to the spindle.
In an advantageous embodiment of the machine according to the invention, it is provided that the thread guide is moved back and forth along the spindle and has a ring running on a bench, that the limiting means have limit switches, that the limiting means have stop cams, that one or more of the three control means making up the control mechanism, a cam and a cam follower or
which is attached to one of the limiting means, that the second control means and the third control means each have a heart-shaped cam and cam follower, the cam followers being fastened to the limiting means at both ends of the lifting movement, and that the first control means is a worm cam and a cam follower, and that the heart-shaped cam from which the third control means is available is mounted on the cam follower of the first control means.
The yarn bobbins produced by the method according to the invention show only slight cutting effects, if at all. Therefore, such built-on bobbins can be used ver in knitting or Raschel machines.
The furrowing is excluded from practical considerations because the superposition of the unidirectional movement at the reciprocating reversal point causes the reversal points in corresponding parts of different work courses of the reciprocating movement are different.
An exemplary embodiment of the objects of the invention is described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawing. The figures show: FIG. 1 a part of a draw-twisting machine, schematically, FIG. 2 the control device, schematically.
In Fig. 1, the two ends of a stretch twisting machine and for the sake of clarity, only one of the working units is shown. In Fig. 1, a yarn 1 is drawn off by means of a draw-off roller 4 over the end of a large bobbin 2, which is fastened on a rail 3, and is wound around the latter. The surface of the roller 4 is driven by a drive roller 5. The unwinding of the yarn from the bobbin and its winding onto the roller 4 is supported by guides 6 and 7.
The yarn then runs in several turns around a draw roller 8 and a winding roller 9. The draw roller 8 rotates at a greater peripheral speed than the pull-off roller 4, so that the yarn is tensioned in between.
From the draw roller 8, the yarn is gradually pulled off and runs through an eyelet guide 10 fastened to a rail 11 and through a yarn guide 12 running on a ring 13 before it is wound onto a spindle 14. The spindle 14 is driven by a drive belt 15. The ring 13 is arranged on a ring rail 16 which is axially movable up and down to the spindle, whereby the yarn bobbin is built on the spindle. The yarn guide 12 rotates during winding at such a speed relative to the rotational speed of the spindle that a certain twist is exerted on the yarn.
The yarn sheet 17 formed between the eyelet guide 10 and the yarn guide 12 is separated from the yarn sheets of the adjacent working units by the plates 18 and 19. The plates 18 and 19 are attached to the opposite ends of the ring rail 16 and the rail 11. These rails are also rigidly attached with their ends to the holding rods 20 and 21, so that the rail 11 goes back and forth with the ring rail 16.
The ring rail 16 can be moved back and forth by a double-acting piston-cylinder unit 22. The piston 23 is connected to the ring rail 16 via a rod 24 and a two-armed lever 25. As a result of the outward movement of the piston 23, the lever 25 is pivoted about its bearing 26 and thus the ring rail 16 is pressed down on the guide rod 27. During the inward movement of the piston, the two-armed lever is pivoted counterclockwise over the rod 24 and thus the ring rail on the guide rod 27 is moved upwards.
The hydraulic loading of the cylinder 22 at its opposite ends is controlled by electromagnetic valves 28 and 29, wel che according to the actuation of the limit switches 30 and 31 (see FIG. 2) are switched. In this way, the reversal of the ring rail 16 is controlled by the limit switches 30 and 31.
The control device for controlling the reversal positions of the ring rail is housed within the working unit 32 and shown in detail in FIG. The ring rail is connected to the control device by a control rod 33, which is attached at its one end 34 to the ring rail and at its other end 36 to an actuating head 38. The actuating head 38 is slidably disposed along a rail 39 and has an actuating surface 40 which can be brought into operative connection with the limit switches 30 and 31. The positions of the limit switches 30 and 31 determine the upper and lower reversal positions of the ring rail.
The other parts of the control device are used to change the positions of the limit switches 30 and 31 during the winding according to a specific sequence in order to obtain a specific structure of the bobbin.
The lower limit switch 31 can be moved upwards by a constant amount during a winding cycle. For this purpose, the limit switch 31 is rigidly connected to a cam follower 41, which in turn is slidably arranged in guides 43 and 43 and is in operative connection with a cam 44, which performs one turn per turn cycle. The cam 44 is connected to a gear 45, which in turn engages with a drive pinion 46 driven by an electric motor 47 enclosed.
The upper limit switch 30 is also connected to the cam follower 41 and can therefore also carry out the step-wise upward movement. The upper limit switch, however, is not fixed, but rather slidably arranged on the cam follower 41 and is in operative connection with a heart-shaped cam disk 48, which is rotatably mounted below the limit switch 30 in the cam follower 41. The cam disk 48 is driven via a belt 50 and a roller 52 by an electric motor 49 also fastened to the cam follower 41. By the Drehbe movement of the cam 48, the limit switch 30 is moved up and down on the cam follower 41.
In contrast to the cam 44, the cam disk 48 performs several revolutions during a winding cycle.
The limit switch 30 is held in operative connection with the circumferential surface of the heart-shaped cam disk 48 by a tension spring 53 arranged between the limit switches.
In this way, the upper limit switch 30 can perform two superimposed movements, namely one caused by the cam 44, upward stepwise movement and a second backward movement caused by the heart-shaped cam 48. During a winding cycle, the movements of the limit switches 30 and 31 correspond exactly to the upper and lower reversal positions of the ring rail and in this way determine the structure of the thread package.
